Here we go folks. What are you imbibing this evening? I got an 8pk from Urban Chestnut for my birthday. A few different pilsners that I've never tried before. I'll probably be cracking one of those open at some point.

Not much of a drinker these days. When I do, it's usually not beer anymore but brown liquors. Recently converted from the occasional Crown and coke, to Captain and coke. Gingerale still always goes with Crown though. And when I need more punch, Johnny Walker Black, on ice
Found that white liquors like tequilla and vodka make me sick now. Never used to. Wonder why that is. Menopause?........Wait

Used to love that while eating seafood since I have issue drinking beer while I eat. If you want punch, try Fighting Cock. Decently priced, it like a 100 proof version of Makers Mark (but cheaper)

I drink a lot less than I used to. I still enjoy the occasional adult beverage, though. Last weekend was my 20th high school reunion. The beer selection was pretty crappy at the place we had the event, so I stuck with gin and tonics.

Rye whiskey. Usually Templeton or Michters.
If I am going to use a mixer I squeeze some oj and pomengrante. Good stuff. Splash of ginger beer doesn't hurt either.

Think I'm going to have a couple drinks today...

i decided to greatly decrease my beer drinking this month as i am finishing up a workout routine and want to try to get really lean in the end, so i have been eating better, working out hard and cutting back on beer, soda and other drinks that have a lot of sugar.
this saturday is the annual beer festival they have each year about a half mile from my home. the festivals have been great the past 2 years- they have like 500 different beers along with live entertainment and food trucks. last year i bought the more expensive package where they had heady topper, KBS, Bourbon County, LAwsons Sip of Sunshine, a bunch of Hill Farmstead and many others in a private tent. I was planning on having a day of big time beer drinking at the festival, but I am also coaching my daughter's soccer team. her game is at 3:30 this saturday, pretty much right in the middle of the beer festival. i can't go to the festival before the game as showing up drunk might not be a good idea, and it will be finishing up when the game ends. i wish her game was earlier, but coaching has been a lot of fun and she loves having me as a coach.

My metabolism just does not allow me to drink beers without putting on serious weight rather quickly.
Most people associate the munchies with weed but for me....I get it whIle I'm drinking. So that doesn't help either.

I rotate between Heineken and coronas as my default beer. But lately I been really liking Stella. I think I haven't bought any other beer in the past 2 months.....and I drink a lot of it.

That's my brand as well To me it's like the quintessential lager, and all other lagers are inferior variations of it

Just got my hands on some Zombie Dust by 3 Floyds, awesome stuff. www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/26/64228/Beeradvocate scored it a perfect 100. My brother got some when he was in Chicago, can't find it where I live. Highly recommend.

I like mostly islay scotch and bourbons, and recently stumbled across templetons. Really nice whiskey. Have been playing around with Irish of late... Bush mills black bush as well as red breast and tryconnel. Tryconnel is peated, unlike most irishes.

My drinking didn't go over well with my body. Mean headache today. Yeah, my recovery abilities have greatly diminished. I had my 20th high school reunion last Saturday. Had a few drinks, nothing out of control, but felt like crap the next morning.
