Did Zombie Dust not get attention till later or something? I remember it being easy to get in the past. Only just realized reading this that I haven't seen it in quite awhile. No, it's been strongly hyped for years. It and Dark Lord are what put Three Floyds on the map. Three Floyds doesn't distribute a ton of bottles, other than about 3 mainstays in six packs and then a bunch of bombers. And that distribution is mostly Indiana, Chicago area, and small parts of Ohio. But, if you live anywhere near the brewpub, Zombie Dust is almost always easy to get. They post a few times a month on their website that it's for sale, you stop in, pay your $10, and get a six pack. Or multiple six packs, there's no limit. Usually the wait is less than five minutes to get beer there from their to-go stand.

Yeah I trying to think of the last time I saw it, but I remember seeing the 6 packs year round until a few years ago.

I don't think ZD has ever been on store shelves year round and ZD has been on my radar since at least 2009-10 or thereabouts (was doing some work out in the area at the time). Where were you seeing it year round? City/state?

Jess can back me up on it, she wasn't a fan of it but she'll recognize the bottle for sure.

I don't forge, (yet...) but I know a lot of competitors from the other forum I frequent, Bladeforums. It's a great show with a lot of bullshit and the judge Doug Marcaida has destroyed people's blades by using very improper technique, but as a Knifemaker I really can't complain too much about something that gets my hobby out!! I'm no aficionado of ports, but when my divorce buddy offered me the bottle for helping her move I jumped on it. Everybody else turned their noses up at the bottle. If I ever wind up living in a place that I could set up a DIY forge, I'd love to start learning.
Yeah ports caught me by surprise. My first experience was actually with a hookah where it was 50/50 with water and made the best hookah I ever smoked. Damn, l have to load my dabs rig with port and see! Maybe try the 10 year stuff first. Thinking of buying a 40yo bottle for my 40th next year.

It was with Russians when visiting St Louis for one of the first times haha. First time I had a coffee stout was that day too. It was 50/50 water and I don't remember what kind of port, and it had rum flavored tobacco. Best way to describe it is like velvety smooth thick feeling cigar smoke, but no harshness at all.

Funny, when I do this same thing for vaccinations I get shit on. And when many showed you research regarding vaping, you didn't seem to think it was true. I just find it funny the way people shift thier beliefs around certain things. I guess I'm guilty as well of it. But I do appreciate the research and I will look at it. I do feel that if I drank either a bottle of kombucha, beer or soda every day for a year...that I would be in a better place with the kombucha. Don't mean to bring up old news but did you see where I posted on the old forum that you can get the single polio vaccine? It is still available by itself if requested.

Anytime a restaurant has Blue Moon on tap I am drinking that right now... I know it's cheap and made by Budweiser, but it is damn good with dinner.

I said something similar the first time I saw it and was suggested to me. Was an Irish dive bar. Holy fuck though so glad I did, it is amazing. Though if you want a dick in your ass while you drinking it, no problem with that. G-spot drinking is probably quite enjoyable.

So that beer I had was sour. Not over-the-top sour, but still sour. It was pretty good.
I did find myself, however, ready for a different taste by the end of it.
Still not sold on sours

Still not sold on sours It may have been sour, but it wasn't a sour. It was a farmhouse ale, which probably have the widest range of tastes of any style IMO. The history on them is pretty fucking cool, and they the hardest recipes to reproduce.

I guess what I am getting at is this farmhouse ale had some "sourness" and it's about as much as I can handle. If that makes sense.

If you can get your hands on Crane Brewing out of Kansas City, they've been doing some really interesting things with sours. I'm not big on sours but I can drink theirs all day long.

You are a big fan of IPAs, yeah? I think they have gone downhill a bit, the brewers getting lazy with them. But I like them yeah, them and stouts my favourites.

I used to hate IPAs but I am a big fan now. It took me awhile to acquire a taste for the bitterness. I am having this now which I really like
I cant handle stouts too often cause they are so damn thick and heavy.

We get the Enjoy By series on tap here usually. There was a Mint Julep one I had earlier this year that was amazing.
