When I was younger, I had no problems. I'm just getting old. I also don't drink as much.

I'm a BIG jack-n-coke guy, but recently tried some Jim Beam Black with my coke and it's smooth.
Won't replace jack but not bad to have in the rotation.

I'm having a Bud or few. Wifey bought like 36 of them to get a glass that lights up when the Flames score. So basically just a glass that will not be lighting up a whole lot this year.

Agree on templeton. I like mostly islay scotch and bourbons, and recently stumbled across templetons. Really nice whiskey. Have been playing around with Irish of late... Bush mills black bush as well as red breast and tryconnel. Tryconnel is peated, unlike most irishes. Have you tried the Michters rye? Excellent. No, but will. Tried Michters plain bourbon. Thought it was ok but not great. Too mild of body. You take a sip, and it disappears. I like the more full bodied bourbons bookers, bakers, makers, and dickell. But will definitely give the rye a try. Thanks for the recc.

I quit drinking 16 years ago, but in a different world, I'd be having a rye and coke or a glass or two of red wine.

Have the pilsners chilling now. I was distracted last night and didn't end up drinking them. I was so worried about Gir that I didn't think about much else. Tonight is my last overnight shift of the week. It ended up working out having crappy hours yesterday so I was able to get Gir to the vet today and not be at work.

I would have to drink too if Jackel lived with me...

If I lived with Jackel, I would make early 2016 Cave Bear look like late 2016 Cave Bear by comparison.

Been messing with 7 & 7's again lately, but always find my way back to whiskey/diet coke. My healthier side tries to mix them with the Zevia sodas, but I don't always catch them on sale. Frugal > Healthy
Honorable Mention- Pinot Noir has made my mouth happy as well.

Not much of a beer or wine drinker. I have been on a moonshine kick lately. There has been some root beer flavored shine going around that is pretty good. I still love my apple pie shine though.

I still love them, but generally stick to drinking liquor straight. I've recently had cravings for an Old Fashioned again though

Not about mixing hard liquor with coke or any other carbonated drink... I'm a man... Shots of tequila for this guy... Highly recommend Casa Dragones... Never thought a tequila would dethrone Aha Toro as my all time favorite... But it has...

People give me shit all the time about adding coke to my Crown or even Remy. I don't care if its top shelf liquor. That is how I like it, I am paying for it and fuck you, that's how I am having it.

Crown Royal Apple with 2 ice cubes. Just enough to chill it. I can sip it and the next thing I know, half the bottle is gone and I can barely walk straight. Don't have much of a hang-over in the morning either. However, 3 beers and my head hurts like a bitch the next day. I have to take purposeful breaks from the Crown because I can go through a bottle in 2 or 3 days so I make sure to break from it on the days I work.

I hate that shit! I get crap for mixing with soda too. I usually have to remind the people that try to shit talk me that I can beat the piss out of them. They usually leave me alone after that. If they keep going, I just start to dissect them and mock them to no end. The booze and caffeine only make it easier lol

I'm not a real big craft beer guy. I'll stick to Miller Lite and Whiskey. Normally Jim Beam. Every now and than I'll switch up and do some Pearl Cumber with water or Captian Morgan Private Stock with a splash of Coke.
