Right now, I hunt and that is it.
When I don't have work and school I will head to the gym and workout plus when it dies down back to BJJ and boxing.
So:
- Hunt
When school is out:
- Fish - Work out - Train at MA academy - Drink lots - well that is regardless.

I'm in the same boat as Floyd, no time for much of anything right now. When I do have time:
1. Play with my daughter (cheesy answer but true) 2. Beach 3. Tinker with my electronics (breadboards, micros, etc.) 4. Watch sports, specifically NFL and NBA, although I'll watch some NCAA football too. 5. Hang out at the hunt camp (but not actually hunt).
And PureRock's last answer of course, which I find time for even when busy with school.

Gym (weights and cardio) Gym training (box and bjj) Swimming Boating SpeAR fishing/lobster diving (which I'm sitting out on this season unfortunately) Gardening, but I don't feel it's a hobby as much as it is just something that needs to be done Snowboarding but I haven't gone in awhile Model rockets. Estes style. Love these things.
New hobby is off roading in the desert, I don't have much mechanic skill at all so I've been spending my evenings lately wrenching on a yamaha Rhino with a buddy that knows what the fuck he is doing. Don't want to not be able to work on my own shit. I have friends with teen kids that could work on this.
I do like to fix and tinker on shit. I just run out of talent rather quickly even though I do have the patience to work through anything.

It's the part-time business that I run. Wait, maybe that IS Duval that fixes gym equipment and not me. I don't know anymore.

I think he works a lot on treadmills and shit though. Probably does most everything really but I would imagine treadmills to be easy enough to repair once you know what you're doing and to pay fairly well to fix since they're expensive as fuck to replace.

I would think they would be as well. A buddy fixes appliances. Went to schooling and worked for a company for awhile. Started getting a bunch of side work...bought a van and his own tools. Started his own business. Killing it. AbsofuckinglutEly killing it. Everyone has appliances. Appliances break. Some people get attached to thier appliances. It's brilliant.

Yeah, I still do the gym equipment, although I have a couple of subcontractors doing most of the work right now since I'm so busy with classes. Making money to answer the phone and coordinate people, not a bad gig.
Treadmills are very easy since there are only a handful of things that can go wrong with them. Ellipticals are the worst, because 9/10 you get a call about one making a squeak, and the things reverberate so much that you can't tell where the sound is really coming from. And there are so many moving parts. Anything electronic is pretty easy now though, they got rid of DC motors so you never have windings go bad anymore, and don't have to deal with brushes. I've made A LOT of money off morons that don't even know how to properly check if their shit is plugged in correctly. Service announcement-YOUTUBE, use it, love it, save yourself a lot of money. If you can't fix it after that, THEN call me.

Got an old 1950s Gillette fat boy when my grandfather died. Have been dabbling with it and many others since.
If going w a straight, I've found best results from Japanese feather razors with replaceable blade cartridge. Parker straights are often used in barber shops and work quite well also. I have tried the nicer stroppable straight blades and just cannot get anywhere near as comfortable a shave as with the Parker or feather.
No better safety blades than the astra blades. Helluva lot cheaper than Gillette rollerball ten blade cartridges.
For a safety razor, best starters are jagger de89 or Merkur 1904.
For prep go with proraso Green label preshave and arko shave stick. And a simple boar omega brush. Don't waste money on expensive silver badger brush
For post shave, many options. My fav is a simple cheap splash called tabac. Art of shaving sandlewood or lemon oil is pretty good too.

I like to hunt, fish and snowboard, but as others have said, don't find the time to do it much anymore. Gardening, winemaking and raising animals is just a way of life, I look at it as work that doesn't pay in paper money. Playing music has pretty much taken over 1st place in the goofing off time slot. I'm currently in two bands, and practice on my own everyday.

I'm thinking this a great thread for me to read. We know my old hobbies, two that ive picked up here are bocce ball and bowling. I'm not good, but improving. I can begin to start relearning the use of my prosthetic very soon making steelhead fishing a reality with help from some buds. Physical therapy has done wonders for my stump shoulder.oh, I'm officially out of rehab tomorrow. I was a able to find an apartment in Millcreek, my counselors felt I was ready, so I took the apt. I'd recommend this facility for drunk addicts and ptsd folks. It's been a good ride.

I have a ton of old tin signs - from WWII type to alcohol adds, old school bronze age superhero and sports. A few car signs and most are the tin type. Most I don't even put up but plan to sometime.
Everyone knows I like tequila so I get brought anything new someone finds. Like 20 bottles per year of stuff so I have tried hundreds. I do like Avion and used to love Jose Cuervo Anejo when they sold it at Costco, but then they went to some other brands (years ago). I can't sip tequila like I can whiskey and am often more intrigued by the bottle shapes and sizes as it looks cool on my bar. I make a mean fucking margarita and try different tequilas to see how they taste. Otherwise, I still do shots with a lime chaser like I was doing throughout high school and college, lol.
Honestly, the tequila craze has amazed me because it allowed Tequila to basically triple and quadruple in price.
