Fixed that for ya. Bit surprised you didn't know that The Donald and the Ruskies are, well you know, kinda in bed.
I mean, EVERYBODY gets that, right?
There are ten other threads in which you can try to bait people into a political discussion. This thread is about back injuries and aging. Surely you have some relevant stories to share. This thread is about whatever topic we bring up; my remark was no attempt to "bait" anyone into anything. I haven't paid attention to political threads in months, with maybe one or two exceptions.
Was a bit surprised you'd reach such a conclusion, until I recalled that you're a wigger word-bender with some rather odd race-imposter affectation.
What other strange habits do you have, James? Ever wish you were a girl? Are you gender-fluid?
Go ahead and talk about it, it's OK, we're all family here. We just want to help.

“Racist” is becoming as outmoded and dated a term as “groovy,” and those who hurl it are beginning to look as stupid as they always should have

So as I was getting out of my work truck, the seam in my pants crushed my balls, maybe the worst in my life. My subordinates thought I was having a heart attack

An inversion table can work but it also pulls on your lumbar curve... Kyle, check out a decompression table. They are pricey to use but are worth every penny imo. Finally broke down and went to back specialist. Bulging L4 and pinched nerve in L4 and L5. Pretty sweet considering I make my living in construction. May have to become a medical pot head soon, because I am not getting surgery.

Kyle-
You should look into cbd. Doesn't mess with your brain (won't get you high) but is decent for pain management. You should have zero trouble finding it where you are.

Yes, it's everywhere around here. A friend of mine's wife has an inoperable brain tumor and she is on some form of it to try to help with symptoms and reduce it's size. I don't know if it is working, but doctors around here are very interested in it as an alternative form for lots of things.

My brother in law, who has never smoked, has shoulder pain from work and has tried various products and therapies. It got so bad he couldn't sleep, so I took him to a shop that sold CBD cream and he reluctantly tried it. According to him, it is the best pain relief he has used.

I've had the exact same thing Kyle, in the exact same place. I smoked enough weed for this entire forum. Wasn't until I let it rest, took care of it with ice and decompression that it started to get better. Then I started the physical therapy.
I can do backbends, deadlifts, you name it. But it took some time to get to where i am at now.
I'd seriously look into a decompression table. I'll find a link to one similar to what I was paying to lay on.

I searched and don’t think I found what you are talking about. Doctor said to try certain stretch exercises and also inversion table every day. Problem for me is they don’t want me lifting for like a month to see if the swelling goes down, but that’s just not an option. Amazing how high of a percentage of people who have had back surgery tell you not to get it.

www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/05/15/seattle-s-new-head-tax-blasted-by-city-s-mega-corporations.htmlThis is a dumb policy but an expected one from liberal politicians, and funny how the bigoted leadership of a company like Starbucks would argue against it. These liberals have no qualms about claiming individual tax payers should give more for the greater good, but they change their tune when the shit applied to them. Thought this quote spells it out perfectly and is a response to nearly EVERY liberal political claim that we need to tax more: it's never a revenue issue, it's a spending efficiency issue. “The city does not have a revenue problem – it has a spending efficiency problem,” Drew Herdener, Amazon vice president, said in a statement. “We are highly uncertain whether the city council’s anti-business positions or its spending inefficiency will change for the better.”

Explain how it's the state and feds fault that cost of living is high. And WHO should be attacking the state and feds? The cities with the homeless populations?

Cities should be attacking state/feds, states should be attacking feds, population should be attacking state/feds, corps should be attacking state/feds. It is the state and feds fault because they aren't doing anything to curtail the CoL:Wage ratio. All their policies/laws/regulations just make it a larger ratio. They are forcing the cities to deal with their fallout. Shit rolls downhill.

LOL. So you want the fed to socialize wages via regulation to redistribute wealth? That is EXACTLY what Amazon and Starbucks are complaining about. You never have a clue WTF you are talking about and never understand anything related to economics. You always misunderstand and misapply.

You never have a clue WTF you are talking about and never understand anything related to economics. You always misunderstand and misapply. No that is not what I want to do. I have no idea what an easy solution would be. The only thing off the top of my head to start that I can think of is removing the ethanol/corn subsidy to drop food prices. The only point I'm making though, it is the feds and states that have drastically increased the cost of living without providing an incentive for a natural increase in wages. It isn't up to the cities to fix that kind of issue. And while I don't agree with what Seattle is doing, at least they are trying to say fuck you to feds and trying to deal with their economic drain that the feds caused.

The solution is to examine spending habits and correct where/how they are spending the revenue (taxes). It is NOT to mandate yet another tax because it's NOT a revenue issue. They have revenue and it's increasing, so if they want to dedicate funding to a solution for the homeless they can ALREADY do it. If you have a city, a person, a household, etc, inefficiently spending the answer is NOT to give them more money to waste. This is the epitome of a conservative vs progressive argument on taxation, or any basic economic discussion.

Except that the city cannot force the state/feds to change their spending efficiency and regulations which are causing the housing issue at their level. The city is taking the action it is because of the federal and state government's inefficiency and corruption. I don't like what they are doing, but how else are they to deal with it efficiently?

This is Baph's thread, and he'd probably be amused by this. Another example of self-appointed "moral guardians" demonstrating their ignorance through censorship.
From today's Detroit Free Press/USA Today Liberal Indoctrinization Publications:
SUPERMAKET CENSORS GRAD'S SUMMA CUM LAUDE CAKE
"Well, we’re guessing the folks at this particular Publix supermarket didn’t graduate summa cum laude.
The story starts with a proud mom ordering a cake online for her son’s graduation party. On it she wanted the words “Congrats Jacob! Summa Cum Laude Class of 2018.”
But then she found that the software at the Publix near their home in West Ashley, S.C., refused to include the word “Cum” in the decoration on top of the cake because it considered it to be profane.
Undaunted, Cara Koscinski used a special-instructions box to explain that the offending word was part of a Latin phrase for academic honors and meant “with” (laude translates as “honors” or “distinction” and summa as “highest”), according to a report by local TV station WCIV. She even included a link to a website explaining the meaning, reported the Washington Post. And so the box containing a frosted sheet cake arrived for the Saturday celebration of Jacob Koscinski’s 4.89 grade point average and admission to a pre-med program at college.
“And when we opened it, it was a huge shock to all of us," Cara Koscinski told the station.
Yes, instead of the word “Cum,” there were three hyphens. ‘‘Congrats Jacob! Summa - - - Laude Class of 2018.’’
"The cake experience was kind of frustrating and humiliating because I had to explain to my friends and family, like, what that meant. And they were giggling uncontrollably. At least my friends were," said Jacob Koscinski, 18.
His mother was less calm about the incident, telling the Washington Post that her son was ‘‘absolutely humiliated.’’
‘‘It was unbelievable,” she added “I can’t believe I’m the first one to ever write ‘Summa Cum Laude’ on a cake.”
The Koscinskis told WCIV on Monday that a manager from Publix later apologized and offered a refund."

^^^ I wonder what would have happened if a couple of butt-sniffing turd burglars had ordered a wedding cake with phallic imagery on it?
I bet the market would go ahead and decorate the cake as they asked, justifying their actions with some nonsense about "not wanting to violate their freedom of expression"....
And Yahoo News would be virtue-signaling its hearty approval, religious or other objections be damned.

I don't know if I'd eat a cake with the word cum on it to be honest... But let the the little buger and his mom enjoy the cum on thier cake.
