700 years is a long time to control a market. I'd be interested to know the name's of the mining companies that are going to get that shit on lockdown.

This has to be the beginning of the end for the already bloated Chinese economy no?

700 years is a long time to control a market. I'd be interested to know the name's of the mining companies that are going to get that shit on lockdown. Short term I'd personally look at the companies that are developing the underwater gold mining equipment, that's still the hurdle to jump to get into full production, that'll hedge against the possibility they are overestimating the size of the deposits and still make you a return. With the demand for REEs expected to have another spike, it'll be a push for this kind of mining which means expect other markets that have been waiting on it (such as gold) to benefit from this too. Lockheed has had the most advancement in that area and run most of it in their subsidiary UK Seabed Resources now, and already has a working relationship with the various international organizations trying to make sure this is done in an environmentally safe way. I also wouldn't be surprised if Niocorp winds up negotiating trade deals for reduced Canadian prices for the REEs since they now are gonna have surplus Niobium and Scandium. There was a company out of the South, I think in Louisiana that was working on new tech for the sea mining, but I haven't seen anything about them in 6 years? I'm guessing Lockheed bought them up or they folded.

This has to be the beginning of the end for the already bloated Chinese economy no? Not sure, but yes, it's kind of an open secret that huge sectors of the Chinese economy are completely propped up with bullshit government kabuki theater. Massive construction projects that go unoccupied. Huge factories that don't produce anything. Massive spending on . . . well, nothing. It's an Obama wet dream come to life. And eventually, that balloon pops. You can't hack and steal and bullshit you way to the front of the line forever, even with a billion drones willing to carry your water.

Right now we need both, we can phase out the armed guards when we start getting a handle on the mental health of this country. Though, statistics do show that an increase in access to mental health professionals decrease school attacks.

Moving day today. I'm exhausted. Started at 7ish am and am finally sitting down to enjoy a beer. Fuck.

Especially if you have to go to work Monday. Yup. Fuck, I'm getting old man. I hurt everywhere. Barely got my socks on. Stiff as shit. I wish we would have taken a better look at this house before we bought it. Not because I hate it but there is a lot of jack-leg stuff done that doesn't affect the house itself but will cost time and money to fix the way we like it

Next day I felt like I got hit by a bus. Bending over for 3 hours is fucking brutal on the legs and back at this age.

I hang in an inversion table 30 minutes every night before bed just so I can fall asleep in less pain. Most mornings it takes me about 3-4 minutes to get my jeans and socks on. Pretty sure I have major disc problems, but I don’t really want to know how bad things really are. Getting old does suck!

A chiropractor told me once, lot at what cats and dogs do when they wake up, they stretch. Inversion tables suck. Get a Yoga Swing. Better for stretching and hanging upside down. Looks like a sex swing so you'll get shit for it but you can also use it as a sex swing....lol There are so many different stretches. One of my most important daily routines is to stretch. You can do it while watching a show.

Fractured my L5 in 2010 snowboarding. Im pretty sure Ive detailed it on here many times. Wasn't fun. At all.
Rebuilt myself. Took a long time to do so.
I have some issues now and then but for the most part, I hit the gym almost every morning, pay close attention to making sure I'm engaging that lower back area.
I can do crazy amounts of labor and it luckily doesn't bother me. Took out a stump earlier in the week. Dug up and installed a sprinkler system this week as well. Will be pouring a cement patio soon off the back of my place, going to likely do all the digging myself since my buddy has a dumper. Point being, you gotta build up that back if you have spinal problems and want to live a life similar to what you did before.
I can even still go train bjj and boxing but I choose to go really easy on that part of my life these days. Don't need to push it at 40.

An inversion table can work but it also pulls on your lumbar curve...
Kyle, check out a decompression table. They are pricey to use but are worth every penny imo.

Lol at you guys amd the little back pain. Remember me and my two surgeries. Plus the screws you guys know i have in my back! I am dead against surgery and don’t envy anyone who has had it on their back. My pain is totally manageable right now and I have good and bad days. The worst is a moderately painful lower back, major stiffness, and inability to bend or lift well. For example today is not good and I was not able to lift my 4 year old out of the bath just now. On a good day I just move a little slow but am not restricted in my effort. I am guessing yours was unbearable and a detriment to your lifestyle, which is miles away from where i am. Either that or you are a pill junkie and faked it for some oxy’s.

Surgeons will try to talk you into it but at 5 years, outcomes are about the same as doing PT. plus PT doesn't lay you out for months and eventually make matters worse.

I had me fun with the pills. Not gonna lie. But never asked for any post surgery recovery. Real easy to fall into that trap when they are always available.

There are ten other threads in which you can try to bait people into a political discussion. This thread is about back injuries and aging. Surely you have some relevant stories to share.
