It would be impossible to mask your lifestyle change having come in to $30mm plus recently. Especially from someone who in the past has flaunted material items and family wealth, we all would anticipate you showering the forum with luxury items and toys. I would love you to post a brokerage statement and prove me wrong... but I suspect that won’t happen.I do care if someone is touting fake success as a means for convincing people to spend their money. If I found out my broker was really living in a shitty apartment, I would pull my money for obvious reasons. You are a real piece of work dude. First off, hiding 30MM has been pretty easy so far, for a whole slew of reasons. The first being that I haven't bought any of the stuff you would probably go buy if you suddenly found legit success. Yeah, I bought a helicopter. But I don't keep it parked at my house. It's in a hangar, that I also bought, which is at the airport five minutes from my house. I bought a bunch of land up north (actually haven't closed yet, but that's just a formality) and a nice plot of land to build the new house on, and the construction process with that has started. But I'm still driving the same car, still in the same house, still wearing the same clothes, still doing the same things. I find it absolutely, 100% hilarious that you- YOU of all people are asking for a brokerage report. The guy who has owns a construction company but doesn't feel comfortable enough to ever tell anyone here what the name of that company is, is asking me to share a brokerage report. Do you not even see how fuckin weird that makes you look Kyle? You know what's even weirder? That you think you've got people all figured out, and that you can deduce things about them via an internet message board. It's pretty simple to make something look questionable when you don't have all the facts, and you don't. Just like I don't have all the facts regarding your nameless construction company. But I can say that I think it's kinda strange that.... You are on here for the amount of time that you are, have the time to dig through old posts trying to make some kind of point, and sometimes are still logged in here at 4am your time. Why is this strange? Well, because you own a successful construction company....and are located in a part of the country that is experiencing a record setting rebuild due to a natural disaster....there is such demand for construction crews that Cali is arresting unlicensed contractors who are trying to pick up the slack. Construction companies out there are going to be posting record profits this year. And here you are, digging through a stranger's posts trying to prove that they are not more successful than the image you're trying to portray on here is. Seems like an awfully strange way to be spending your time at this particular point, when your company could be expanding at an aggressive rate, when you're in your peak earning years. And despite you not feeling comfortable enough to ever drop the name of your company, you seriously expect me to post a brokerage report to a public message board? Seriously? I find it all really weird, specifically because of the fact that I'm building this new house. The guy who owns the company, one that I believe must be smaller than yours, is constantly going. You can't talk to him for more than ten or fifteen minutes without his phone ringing or texts coming in. He's always on one site or going to another site, or he's in planning board meetings getting future projects approved, or he's meeting with new potential clients. He told me he's home by 7:30 most nights and in bed by 9:30 so he can be up and out the door at 5 the next morning. Now, maybe he also has some obscure message board that he wastes his time on, but I doubt it. The thing is, Maine is also experiencing a boom in housing. Not enough homes to meet the demand = new construction all over the place. But not nearly on the scale as what's happening in your neck of the woods. Despite that, this guy seems to be a fuckton busier than you. And considering how weird that was to me, I started thinking over the past few days about other weird shit that's come my way from your direction. Like back when people were calling me "Handsome Tony", only one person bitched about it- you. "In my part of the country there are women who wouldn't look at you twice." Ummm...ok. I thought that was a weird thing for a man to say to another man. Like you care if someone is more attractive than you? That's kinda weird behavior from a self described "secure person". Also weirder still that I've been to your part of California more than once, and really didn't see anything special. But then a few years later you got comfortable enough to post a picture, and I immediately understood why you seemed all jealous of how I look. Then this crypto shit went atomic. And you talked about how "the really wealthy people I know never talk about how much money they have". Well, Sherlock, I said that I had 2000 coins back when BTC was at about 2000 itself. Did I know it would hit 20k? Of course not. Do I assume people can do some simple arithmetic? Of course I do. Do I discuss my bottom line with my friends in the real world? Of course I don't. But the whole time this thing was going up, anyone with a bit of reading comp could see that your little feathers were getting ruffled. Why? No idea. Probably because of issues discussed in the previous paragraph. Then I cashed out. And no, I did not "time the market perfectly" because if I had done that- I'd have pulled in an extra 10 million. I said I was going to be starting the building process of my house, and of course, the only person asking for pictures and telling me they were going to be "bugging me about the progress" was....you. I don't know, but you seem a bit fixated on me. And I think it's pretty fuckin weird. I waltzed back in here to address you specifically Kyle, because I've realized something else over the past few days. Ever since I started on MMA boards back when I was still a teenager, I've met a solid crew of people that I have zero problem providing a window into my life. From Tito1 to Weekly to here, I'll drop some names. ValeTudo Slaytan Baph Makalu sneakyweasel Str8Shooter Elissa CB Premier LA Dr.Gary Warboner NHBMMA James (Not OD) WhoWon? TKT Every single one of those people are connected to me via FB, real names and all. And as such, guess what every single one of them probably saw? Pictures of my helicopter. So if I can speak to all of those people whenever I want, most of whom aren't even here anymore....why the fuck do I need this place? I've also spent the past few days thinking about all sorts of other things not connected to here. A funny thing happens when you reach a goal you set for yourself. I said I'd be financially unchained by age 40, and I am. But the realization of that goal opened my eyes to a bigger and harsher truth. We are only on this planet for so long, only have so many minutes and hours before the whole thing is over. Wasting time, as we do in here, is not a good way to spend a resource as limited as our time. You might wake up one day and realize your kids are grown up and you wasted that time talking shit to/with strangers on the internet. Probably won't feel very good when you realize that either. Sometime this year I'll be getting another few million dollars. And how that happens is none of your damned business Kyle. Nothing in or a part of my life is ANY of your fucking business and you will be learning exactly zero things about me from this point forward, you fuckin weirdo. When I was still a kid, arguing with people and making them feel stupid or shitty over the internet was a pastime I enjoyed. But it does nothing for me now. I do not want to be known as the person who brought harm to people, even if it was to amuse myself and other mean spirited people who were reading along. That bullshit does not appeal to me anymore, in fact, it embarrasses me that I ever engaged in that behavior in the first place. I'd rather not waste my time any further with such activities. I am happy and have a great deal of peace of mind now that things have worked out as they have. I feel zero need to prove anything one way or another to anyone in the world, beyond proving to my kids and family how important they are to me. Not one single person on this board lost money on cryptos because of me, and if anyone wants to blame their mistake on something I said: whatever. If I had known BTC was going to take off like it did, I probably wouldn't have said anything about it at all because it would have just been another Google, or FB or Tesla. Something I saw before the masses caught the value in them and bought either on or close to the IPO. (Kinda like I did with Spotify earlier this week.) I'm not saying I'm leaving this place for good (I never did say that), but I'm going to be like Baph or Brock Lesnar. Part time at best. I'm sure you'll have something to say in response Kyle, but I doubt anyone cares what it is. I'm sure no one cares about my little diatribe here either. Just something about your weird ass commentary that stuck in my craw a bit and so I wanted to get this off my chest. And yes Floyd, I'm not a financial guru and I never said I was. But what I definitely am, and have been since I was a kid, was someone who saw stuff first. I was into MMA since UFC 1 (which I would have won...easily) which is technically before MMA was called MMA, had one of the first 10,000 profiles on Myspace, bought GOOGL (now alphabet class a), FB, TSLA and SPOT on their IPO's and will be in on the ground floor as a wholesale weed grower when my state opens the gates. That is definitely not the same as a financial guru. But every one of those things are similar to BTC in that they are disruptive tech, and disruptive tech is my 4tay. If something else comes along, I'll share it in this thread. Anyway....that was a lot of talking. I think that's all I have to say about that. Floyd, PatSox, DW, bobo, and yes even you Angelo- You all know my real name. Hit me up on FB if you'd like and I'll accept the request. I won't expect one from you Kyle. A place like that would blow your cover pretty hard. This is exactly what I expected from you. You have been full of shit since the beginning, and you have also been a show-off. Nobody on this board has spent more time trying to impress people with their assets than you, and there is not a close second. You have a long history of bragging about family money and personal assets. Do you have $30mm in the bank, a ranch, a helicopter and are going to build a new house??? Maybe or maybe not, but if you are going to claim you do and brag about it... proving it should be easy. Pretty much everyone I know that is very wealthy ($10mm or more) doesn't ever brag about their wealth because they have nothing to prove. I will not post any personal information or business information here for reasons you would understand if you actually owned your own business. I wake up at 5:15 in the morning, get to work at 5:45 and typically get home between 6:15-7:00. I get my kids to bed by 8:30, then I do work in my home office until 11:00 - 1:00. I have never been able to sleep more than 5 hours a night ever since I was a young kid. Right now I am in my office typing up contracts until 1:00, then I will be on 2 projects for the rest of the day. I think I average about 1 posts a day, so your claim that I am on here frequently is baseless. Yes, my area is going to be extremely busy with construction... but your grasp of it is not even close. Right now they are still clearing lots and they are still setting up permit and code enforcement. I know of 4 homes that have approved permits so far out of 7,000. The real boom in construction is going to be 2019 - 2022. Right now the architects are busy and people are still fighting with insurance companies over payouts. 2017 was the biggest year I ever had for sales. 2018 is 5% under where we were a year ago. I would expect for 2018 to be an okay year, but when you lose 7,000 homes in a small area... construction actually takes a hit in the beginning because there are way less remodels available to do. So the idea that "companies are going to post record profits this year" shows you don't know what the fuck you are talking about. I don't care how much money you are worth or what you have. What I do care about is people that are full of shit on a message board that is a very small community. I could be completely wrong... but I suspect I am not for a lot of reasons that I don't need to get in to or who has PM'd me about it. I do not have a facebook page or do any social media at all. My life is very private and I don't have any desire to post pictures of things I own or what I do. Here is what would have happened if someone like me claimed you were not wealthy and you actually were... you would have said something like "think whatever you want dude, I have nothing to prove". What wouldn't happen is a 3,000 word essay defending yourself. I figured you would bail on this place about now, because at some point the lies start eating each other up and the web becomes too tangled to manage. I sincerely hope I am wrong and you are financially set... that would be pretty fucking awesome.

This is whole scenario has played itself out here more than once before.
He'll disappear, come back with the story consolidated, and the people involved before will just go with it out of apathy. And he'll try to use their apathy as proof of his claims.

Is it like a small, single person helicopter or one that you will need a pilot for? I was wanting to get one of those single person helicopters. I would have to finance it but I thought it was a great idea when I was high on sleeping pills a couple months ago. Called my mom to tell her how awesome it would be at like 11 pm. Hahaha. I'm an idiot.

I'm an idiot. It seats four, can carry six, and I'm about 60 hours of flight time away from being able to fly it alone. My father wanted a single man helicopter to fly to work with back in the day, but his office was across the freeway from the major airport in Portland, so he would have had to get cleared through the airport's airspace every morning, which wasn't a guarantee. "The jetport wouldn't clear me to land" was not an excuse he wanted to use for missing work, so he never ended up buying the thing.

Still no name of this alleged construction company, I see. Just a bunch of posturing and "you don't know blah blah blah". That's too bad Kyle. I had hoped you weren't FOS. And a successful guy like you should do what Floyd did and listen to me about Dragon. Speaking isn't work, and speaking stream of conscious style is kinda fun.
And if anyone here feels they need Kyle's protection, raise your hand.

I believed you but I needed the medical version and 1,600 is steep if it doesn't work well. However, one if my co-workers said it was completely worth it so I tried it.
I love the templates. I can just say Admission Template and it fills in a whole admission plan. Saves an ass load of time.

I have no desire to convince random people what I have or what I am worth. That type of shit is for children. You are the only one here who continually itemizes his success and wealth. You are so concerned about people knowing about it that anyone who posts here even infrequently knows the type of car you drive, the assets your family has, the money you are set to inherent, the house you are going to build, the amount your portfolio is worth, and the toys you buy. Someone who brags as much as you would normally love to prove everything is legit. Normally I wouldn’t care about wanting to see some evidence, but your track record combined with your incessant bragging made me want to call you out.... and I am by no means the only one here who isn’t buying it. On a side note, you are one of the posters here I enjoy reading the most. You have kids similar in age to mine, you have very similar political and economic views as me, and you seem to enjoy making fun of jackel as much as I do. You got super defensive about my skepticism, and it seems like it has gotten way out of hand. You could prove me wrong very easily or shrug it off and ignore it... but from my perspective the only reason you would get pissed and leave is if I was right.

Tony. Sorry man, I don't have facebook or anything like that.
A helicopter!!! That is badass and scary all at the sametime.
As far as the thread goes. I tend to believe people on here. When I was really thinking about opening up a weed place. I did reach out to Tony and he was willing to let me go out there and teach me about the weed industry. The only reason why I didn't go was because the whole Arkansas weed thing was a big gamble. And they were only going to allow something like 8 licenses. I figured I had no chance of getting one.
If Angelo said he bought a car and posted a pic. If the pic was a decent car of a lower price, I would believe he bought it. If he showed a pic of Land Rover supercharged SUV I wouldn't believe it. I know he can't afford a $120k vehicle LOL

I actually don't itemize like you are saying I do Kyle, and my desire to depart for a few days had less to do with your specific skepticism than it does with the whole "prove it" thing, because I've already seen that movie. It leads to people getting this whacked out obsession with me, and I'm not setting foot aboard that crazy train again.
My issue goes like this: If you live in a glass house, don't go throwing rocks. If you believe me, great, if you don't, whatever. But- if you hold your own privacy in such high regard, don't ask people to provide information about themselves that you wouldn't be willing to provide about yourself, because when you do that you look like a massive hypocrite. Anyone who "isn't buying it" wasn't asked to make a purchase in the first place and is just running their mouth via PM (which honestly, I don't think happens nearly as much as people want to make it seem), so who cares? People talk shit behind closed doors every day.
At the end of the day, I know what I've got and whether you believe its there or not truly does not matter. I'm all done talking about the size of my money pile. People get weird about it, people expect confirmation where they would provide none, and I'm playing by my own set of rules out here, no one else can dictate my terms. But anyone who is on the list I posted above has already seen all the proof they ought to require. Maybe some of them can forward you pictures of my new house too.
Also, *company's name. And a tip of the cap for deflecting while accusing someone else of deflecting. Nicely done.

Oh yeah, also....since a certain someone seems to think people are not allowed to get new information and change their position based on that new information.... www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-04-12/boehner-wags-finger-at-republicans-opposing-legalization-of-weedA year ago Boehner had the position that he would " never be in favor of legalization of marijuana in any form." Now he's an adviser to one of the largest marijuana companies in the country, and says that his position has evolved. And everyone seems to think that the big deal here is that he's now helping the cause, not that he changed his mind. If one can't change their mind after getting a better perspective, then that's just a stubborn fool. Just sayin.

Yahoo Japan just bought a 40% stake in a crypto currency exchange in Tokyo.
And some billionaire loon is saying Bitcoin will hit 225,000 by 2022. (I think he's insane.)
I don't understand why people keep saying that Bitcoin is going to reach these astronomical levels again. I used to think that there was some kind of rhyme to their reason. But then when I was looking at it myself I keep seeing a lot of Bitcoins games being bled off to other, smaller cryptos. Unless Bitcoin actually wins the battle of the cryptocurrencies, which I don't expect it to do, the smaller companies are going to continue to experience parasitic gains from it each time it makes a significant move up.
It wouldn't surprise me in the least bit if the cryptocurrency that winds up winning the cryptocurrency war is some crypto that is backed by a large national government.

I don't think bitcoin will act as the major in terms of liquid transfer of currency like others might - litecoin, XRP, etc. But it may become a security as a wealth storage vehicle, like gold, and the massive potential increase in price growth will relate to demand. We would need a LOT of positive public sentiment but once that trigger happens, we could see movement back to the thousands to potentially 6 digits. What percentage of people today invest in crypto? Still lots of adoption that can occur so that's what these "to the moon" predictions probably use to price so high.
I am about 85% certain we will NOT see crazy adoption by 2022. On the other hand, I see a 15% chance crypto like a Ripple is a massive game changer and leads to public endorsement of crypto as legitimate. Then we will see some huge winners spin out of it. Which ones? No clue but maybe a 10% make it and people hit it HUGE and 90% get crushed.

You are starting to sound more and more like me. There is now a government backed crypto, but it a bad one, the Petro. Ripple is gaining more traction with the banks every month, and the company behind it is seriously spreading their blockchain tech. If they go public within the next year or two, that'll almost certainly be a buy.

To understand crypto you have to understand what blockchain represents, and jackel - you have no clue. The Chinese are WAY ahead of us in adoption of mobile payments where they are in the trillions and the US in the billions. Something like NEO is 100x closer to government adoption than any coin in the US and 20000x more important than Venezuala rolling out the Petro. No one sounds like you because you are the only person here that always jumps into conversations with people that know FAR more than you do.

Just sold my 102 shares of Netflix at 179.60 a share. Bought them a while ago for 95 a share. It was mid 180 a couple of days ago, but this shit about them being 20 billion in debt scared me. Maybe its bullshit, but fuck it, that stock was great to me. Even if it goes back to the once projected 200 dollar price, I've made my money already. I was looking through old posts in this thread for unrelated reasons and saw this and got curious... Netflix is currently at $334. Wow. That shit took off.

Netflix has served their stock price well by cutting costs while increasing monthly membership fees. They skyrocketed back in January right after they announced the changes to their model of cutting weight and adding power. I thought they'd see a bump from the positive news, but certainly didn't expect them to double their 52wk low. I bet this also has something to do with the news about the number of people who are cutting the cable cord and switching to getting their television from streaming services rather than the old cable method.
The other side of that has some interesting crap going on as well. AT&T bought DirecTV a year or two ago and now they're trying to buy Time Warner, which would seem like a problem to me since they'd then be in on both sides of the old satellite/cable model. They want to use their cell/satellite data to provide advertisers with targeted marketing data, allowing them to charge advertisers 3 to 5 times what they currently charge via guaranteeing their ads end up in front of interested individuals. The problem as I see it is that AT%T needs to buy other companies in order to complete the technology required to accomplish that goal, which is why AT&T's stock price is 1/10th that of Netflix.
The times are changing, and the stock prices clearly reflect the direction we're going in IMO.

I think they are Netflix's current largest provider, over 10% of their current library I think it was.

I don't know how that will impact them at all. I have never watched a single Disney thing on Netflix as it is, and neither have my kids. I think Disney is going to launch their own competitor service, and if combined with Fox, that could be serious competition for Netflix and the other streaming services.

I think Disney is going to launch their own competitor service, and if combined with Fox, that could be serious competition for Netflix and the other streaming services. I wasn't talking Disney brand, I was talking Disney owned. That includes every Tarantino movie, even Marvel movie, ABC television series (most of them anyways), Lucasfilms, A&E, 20th Century Fox, Pixar, Touchstone, ESPN, streaming rights for a bunch of Dimension Films and I think all of Miramax, and a fuck ton of streaming rights from previous ownership and deals. Yeah they are launching next year, looks like all properties not rated R gonna be limited to their streaming service (the 90s Disney cartoon series I expect will be a surprising draw), and all their R-rated movies/shows are gonna be limited to Hulu.

I still don't think it's really going to have that much of an impact on Netflix because Netflix doesn't make much money off of people buying new movies through their service. I don't have anything stored on Netflix in that regard. But I do have all of those Disney movies in my Amazon account. I don't think they make up that significant of a portion of the stuff that people are actually watching on Netflix.

I haven't been on there in awhile but will be going on soon if the alt coins I have continue to rise. Lost out on one of my last purchases and am hoping to at least break even so I can pull it out.
