Man, I just wanted this movie to just be good and not sully the memory of the original, but no fear there I guess. Because reviews for Blade Runner 2049 are off the fucking charts Now obviously there's still a chance that you or I might not love it, but it's certainly encouraging. And I plan on seeing it at the theater, next weekend. And I just watched three separate short films they made for it, that fill in some of the gaps between 2019 and 2049. And they're all really good. One's even an anime made by the Cowboy Bebop guy. Check em out..... If it is bad, it will almost certainly be because of studio involvement. I mean you have almost 3hrs helmed by Villeneuve backed up by Ridley Scott, and then the fucking amazing Roger Deakins as the DP who supposedly has been given more free reign than normal with the way he is shooting it. Even if it is bad it'll be gorgeous.

Here is the PDF for 2017's black list of movies (the list of top unproduced movies). One of them was already picked up for production. Some of them have larger synopsis you can search around for. Ironically a large percentage of best picture nominee/winners have been on the black list within 3 years prior. 2015 has two I still hope get made. The Wretched Emily Derringer, about a 13 year old serial killer that gets pissed when a new serial killer not as good as her starts passing off his kills as hers. And also Crater, about a good-bye road trip, but on the moon, before their friend takes a 75 year journey to another planet. There are 76 on the list this year, here is another link with a bit more information and "votes" deadline.com/2017/12/2017-black-list-scripts-ranking-list-screenplays-1202222558/Infinite, Moxie, and Escape are the only ones that seemed interesting for this years.

I loved Pacific Rim despite it's flaws and logical fails here and there and I've anticipated the sequel for some time now and boy does it look like a let down. They shit-boot the director with the vision, completely forgo the established development between the two main stars, insert flavor of the month John Boyega and fall right back into the typical shoot em up, in your face action packed Hollywood crapfest. Someone in the comments section said they basically turned it into Transformers and they're exactly right. Transformers Rim(job) 2018.

Anyone excited for Marvel's token film? A film about a Black Trump who's a super hero. Can't wait to see how the antifa crowd feels about this one.

This is it mayne, a proper live action movie based on a manga/anime. I think I posted the anime review here. Basically, a dying old man and a hs kid received godlike powers. One decided to be Jesus, the other becomes a genocidal psychopath. Good times.

I'm thinking gonna be one of those so bad, but still something to see movies. I really want to see that. I don't really like the fat broad in it but still looks good. I think its funny sesame street sued these guys for using the line "no sesame and all street" They lost the law suit but gave this movie a ton of PR. Oh yeah Ps fuck you Jackhole

This film season has been chalk full of disappointing takes and remakes thus far: Predator, Venom, Halloween to a lesser extent, and now the entirety of the fall film line up rests squarely on the shoulders of Overlord and Suspiria.

This film season has been chalk full of disappointing takes and remakes thus far: Predator, Venom, Halloween to a lesser extent, and now the entirety of the fall film line up rests squarely on the shoulders of Overlord and Suspiria. Hollywood hasn't had an original idea in over 20 years. Now everything is a remake with an sjw spin.
