Yeah. I gave up on homeland near the end of the season filmed in Germany. Have heard that this current season is good. But I’ve not cared enough about where they’ve gone w these characters to give it another chance. I was a huge fan. Season 1-5. But then got rid of showtime and stopped watching. Wife and I been binging season 6 and 7 the last couple of weekends. The show is still interesting and enjoyable....except for the injustice they did to the Quinn character. I recommended watching it. Not a waste of time, but especially to ride it out and get closure since you watched the early seasons. Not horrible like Dexter or Lost...meaning shows that got fucked at the end . But definitely not as good as it once was.

Finally got around to seeing the conslusion of the Americans.
Decent I guess. Not great. Not awful.
Scene with Stan in the garage was where I got the sense they were heading. But damn... pretty unrealistic. Way unrealistic. Stan would have never approached them without heavy backup. And they would have wound up killing him. Or he them; if a direct confrontation arose.
Was surprised by Paige’s choice to stay. But what options does she have other than going full tilt with the kgb hard liners ? Kinda saw they were laying the groundwork for Stan to foster Henry. But again... hard to realistically think that would happen.
A decent series. Not a great one. I am glad I stayed on board. If nothing else; for the scene where Phillip does the boot scoot line dance. Hah.
I’d rank well behind stuff like Fargo.

New season of Westworld hasn't really been too great.
Been watching that new spike Lee show on Netflix, She's gotta have it, with my girl. It's chicky, but it's like a long older spike Lee flick imo. It's basically about a self centered chick that likes to juggle a couple of dudes. Great soundtrack as well. It will really grow on you.

I'm not really sure what is happening. What time frame they are in. I think they are mixing it up to much.

I like it, but it's hard to really love it when we have to guess what is going on in every storyline.

I keep hearing the word "complicated " about Westworld's storyline.

Really liking Goliath season 2 (Amazon). Billy Bob is such a good actor and this cast is great. Very strange plot line but I'm half way through it and it's better than season 1.

I’ve been considering this one. Do you have to be a huge BBT fan to appreciate the show or would the story still be good even if he didn’t star in it?

Season 2 is STRANGE but also good, and you can appreciate it without really being a fan of his. Season 2 is super strange - the writer has some issues, lol.

Finished season 2 of Westworld last night.
Definitely going to have to watch season 2 again because I have no real firm grip on what fuck I just watched.
Also learned that westworld's decided to go Marvel so there was a post credit scene that I completely did not see.
Season 2 of Goliath is completely different from season 1, but I am enjoying season 2 very much.

Caught a show on prime called Mad Dogs. About a group of old friends that go see another old friend in Belize. Crazy shit ensues.
Caught my attention long enough where we got through the 10 episodes in about 2 weeks. Which is rather quick for us. There is some goofy shit thrown in here and there but thought it was pretty entertaining, despite whatever flaws my critical ass wants to throw at it.

I've watched "Grey's Anatomy" almost all the way through in the evenings with my girl for the past couple weeks and before that it was "Law & Order SVU".
Last night I got to take the lead on a new show to watch together and we're watching "Longmire". Seems like a good contemporary western show with some choppy acting at times, but a good story and characters.

A new Baki series on Netflix. They're setting up some intense martial arts tournament.
For the uninitiated:

That last act just seems like it's very hard to pull off for whatever reason. Very few do it successfully. The problem with bloodline was that it was filmed entirely in Florida. And in between season 2 and 3 the state of Florida removed all kinds of tax protections that were given to film Productions. So Netflix decided to cancel after that happened. It's the same reason the show on HBO Ballers with The Rock had its setting change from Miami to Los Angeles. The original plan for bloodline was to go for four or five seasons, but when they had the rug pulled out from underneath them they needed to tie everything up in one season. That's why the last season feels rushed and slapped together. I really liked the first two seasons, but we can thank the politicians in Florida for screwing the pooch on this one.

If you're in here talking about a series that you haven't even finished 3/4 of ah season, you're an idiot and deserve to have it spoiled.

I've been hearing about Arrested Development for years. Well aware of its cult following. Yet up until a month ago, I've never seen a single episode.
Started watching and now I'm in season 2.
This is the greatest comedy of all times. Its brilliantly written. Joke after joke, every line is a punchline. Acting is on point by all the actors that eventually became household names.
You can't have a show like its fist season today. It will offend all the liberal pussies. I feel like I am watching some Archie bunker type of shit but the first season was in 2003. Shows you how much PC culture has become the norm in the last 15 years.
Type of show that you can watch an episode multiple times and find new jokes you missed the first time around.
I feel hell'a dumb for just getting into it 15 years after it premiered, but I'm glad I stayed away from it. The whole show is brand new to me. I didn't know anything about it until now, which is pretty amazing considering how long its been out.

Portia de Rossi is amazing in it.

Bloodline Oh yeah. Check it out. I thought the first season was incredible.I couldn't get into the second season as much. I'm excited for Ozark season 2 to come out. Do you see where you fucked up? Should it be shocking that you refuse to apologize? (Because it isn't. Liberals only apologize for the actions of conservatives.)

I apologize for upsetting the sanctity of the thread. I deleted my post, but the spoiler lives on through quotes.
You can still thoroughly enjoy the show, even knowing. Don't let it deter you.
