Money Heist (subtitled). Netflix.
A criminal mastermind gathers a group of criminals to rob the Spanish Mint. Fantastic crime drama and awesome acting. Very, very fast action and compelling story. I am semi-fluent in Spanish but got used to the subtitles quickly and really got into it. Highly recommend. Think Reservoir Dogs meets Oceans 11.

Well. Damn. I'm gonna watch the shit out of this.
Interesting thing, Johnny Lawrence sees a bunch of teenagers beating up one teenager, and he goes full Miyagi on them. I have a feeling this is going to be some cheesed out comedy, and I'll enjoy it immensely.

Seems like the roles are reversed, and Laruso is the heel here.

Yeah, it might play off that old video that broke down how Daniel was the actual bully in the Karate Kid. That'd be kinda funny too.
And I really hope Martin Kove shows up at some point. Maybe Elisabeth Shue too.

I started rewatching Westworld to get back up to speed for the upcoming season.
Forgot how much I like that show, and also forgot a few key details. If you're looking forward to the next season, I would highly recommend a rewatch of the first.

Really enjoyed the history channel mini series on “the men who built America- the frontiersmen “.
Chronicles the guys who were key figures in westward expansion from the revolutionary war to the mexican American war.
Boone. Black fish. Tecumseh. Crocket. Jackson. Lewis and Clark. Fremont. Carson. Polk.
Interesting figures. Always associated Boone with a later time frame . Apparently he was a key figure in the actual revolutionary war. Also intersting to learn more about the almost random circumstances that netted Crockett s name in history. As well as Carson. Tough guys. Many on this list seemed to be quite extraordinary men.
It’s a good watch. Better , imo, than their industrial tycoon series from a few years back.

As far as the stock, I have around 210 shares. something. They have gone as hight as 129. There has been days where I made 7 grand and days where I have lost those same 7 grands. The reason i stuck with it is because every time it has gone down it hasn't been any fault of netflix. Just some weird market freak out like with Brexit or some shit ike that. But i eventually stopped watching it. It's a long term investment for me and at times it has been projected to go close to 200. So I'll stick with it unless there are some bad news from Netflix itself Don't rely on it being long-term. Without some drastic changes, Netflix is gone in less than 10 years. If it spikes up, get out. Then re-buy in when it corrects itself. The biggest hurdle that Netflix has, which they haven't come close to even attempting to hurdle, is what to do to keep content flowing when they reach a sub number that is stagnant. Of the major streamers out there, Hulu is the only one is a somewhat safe position. LOL. Netflix stock has doubled since this top 10 dumbest Angelo post.

Did you read my post... without drastic changes, 10 years. that post was about 18 months ago, and Netflix has already started an overhaul around the time I posted that because they knew exactly that was going to be an issue. Since that post, guess what, Netflix has decided to jump into other revenue streams! They also have changed the way they film their movies/series to reduce the cost from traditional production, and have decreased their library in order to make up for the lack of subscription growth. Hulu is still the streaming platform doing it best. They make subscription revenue, ad revenue, original content revenue outside of streaming, and are dominating the library game. Even Amazon streaming has gotten hit hard and are re-building the way they go about it.

I got through a couple episodes of Jessica Jones season 2, which everyone told me is great. Yet I am finding myself completely disinterested in continuing it. I'm sure it might be good, but I just may be done with the Netflix Marvel shows, as a whole.
I then gave the first couple episodes of the new Lost In Space on Netflix a try.......Eh. It's supremely cheesy and melodramatic. I still find myself interested to see what happens, while also lamenting what could have been with this show. As it has some good ideas but not the best execution. Plus the music gets so fucking BIG in moments that don't at all warrant it. Think the Star Wars prequels. Although unlike those, at least you can hear what's being said over the score
I looked at the show creators and saw their resume and.........holy shit. Why Netflix not only gave these guys a shot, but a seeming massive budget, I have no clue. They did four movies prior....
Dracula Untold The Last Witch Hunter The Power Rangers Gods of Egypt
Yeah, these guys suck like....a fucking lot. So I really can't see Lost in Space getting much better. Glad there's a new season of Bosch and Westworld is almost back. Plus Homeland is still going and it's still awesome

Hulu is garbage compared to Netflix then and now, and it's stock price remains stagnant. LOL at Hulu being the best at anything. You are ALWAYS wrong about every single bit of investment related crap you spew. It's the lone thing you are 100% consistent at and anyone who goes the exact opposite of your advice would be rich.

If you have not watched Cobra Kai yet, you probably should. It has absolutely no business being as good as it is, but it is fucking fantastic. I did not expect such character development, such an intricate (if not a bit soap opera) plot line or to feel as conflicted as I did when the final tournament fight occurred. This is a well-told story that does not make it clear who the real good guy is, which is what gives it such a feeling of realness. Sometimes you'll be rooting for Daniel, but other times you just might find yourself rooting for Johnny Lawrence. Absolutely fantastic. Except I'm really bummed that they said John Kreese was dead.

The first two episodes are available for free on YouTube and the rest of the series requires you have a YouTube Red account. Which is $8 or $9 a month.
I watched it through my fire stick with my YouTube Red account, (which is worth the monthly fee to me because it removes all advertisements from YouTube.)

I have a feeling that show is going to completely suck. Which Shakespeare play is he ripping off this time? He already took the best one. What's this going to be? Takes place 2 years after Jacks decided to head first into a semi? Something tells me they don't catch that lightning in a bottle a second time with this one. But, I will also Venture that it might be funny to watch because they will be portraying Mexicans as drug dealers and murderers. The liberal backlash alone might make it worth watching.

Yeah I don't have much faith in it, but in the age of DVR it easy to give it a shot. I will say though, I'm liking the casting. Edward James Olmos, Michael Irby, Richard Cabral. I'm thinking this show is going to live and die by the writing, the cast seems solid enough.

Fauda
Netflix series suggested for me. Looked good. Israeli special agent is pulled out of retirement to help kill a terrorist that he thought he had killed years ago. First ep looked decent and I thought I’d see it through. Was hoping it would be as gripping as the initial few seasons of homeland were. Was hoping for unique characters and obvious political intrigue (Israel vs hammas)
After three eps; though, it became clear to me that this is far more.... starsky and hutch. Endless chase scenes and blunders and unrealistic op planning and plastic fill in the blank characters. Was half waiting to see some big fat desk Sargent named Bunny like in the sabotage music video.
I gave up.
2/5.
Will try “safe” instead.
