If any of you guys here even thought about training, you would've googled Marcelo Garcia by now. And if Marcelo kicked you out, you're a special type of asshole. That's the kind of guy Khabib assaulted.

It's a shame this happened and that's all everyone is talking about. Khabib whooped Conor, even stood with him a bit and landed and stunned him. Complete domination, no need for a rematch unless the UFC sees money but the security will be a bug issue.
Tony is now 14-1 in the UFC, how can anyone bit want to see him fight Khabib.
Great event. One of the greatest comebacks from Lewis and his hot balls.
Great performances by Reyes.
And Tony and Pettis was a great fight!
Can't wait for the PPV numbers.

I've never liked Tony and always want him to lose, but he is a damn good fighter. I think Khabib beats him, but if it happens it will be a great fight. You are right though, the brawl and chaos at the end tarnished the result a bit. Nobody is talking about Khabib's domination, and that should be the talking point. One bit of credibility I will give Conor is that he challenges himself against the best. Most fighters play it pretty safe, but he wants the biggest fights that not only bring in the most money, but are actual challenges and not easy fights.

I agree, I don't like his antics, "he's just selling the fight" I don't need to be sold, I watch every event. I think his shit talking is kinda lame and dislike his fans more than him, example, Jonas and his live for salty Irish balls! Hahaha

That's the kind of guy Khabib assaulted. I don't think anyone cares about Danis. The issue is that people in the crowd could have been injured, and I wouldn't be surprised if there are some lawsuits being filed at the moment from some who see this as an easy payoff. Khabib is just lucky he didn't go after Drake.

Hahaha I like some of Conor's antics and shit talk when he is actually funny and spontaneous. The, "who the fook is that guy?" made me laugh. When he is manufacturing a "beef", like he was against Khabib, it comes across as fake and lame. I'm not sure where Conor goes from here. I'm not sure he is 100% invested in fighting. I'm not really interested in him fighting Nate again, but who else is there (especially if Nate beats Dustin)?

Danis has some credentials in jitz, but Drake is a gangster. If Khabib wants real street cred, he needed to take out Aubrey.

That was the best UFC event in a long time. All but one fight was a finish. Co-Main was fight of the night. Conor did a great job letting Khabib win so they could setup a rematch. The brawl was unfortunate but adds to the overall excitement/drama of the event. Pretty incredible night overall.

The blackjack dealer is going to have to call the pit boss on this one, player is doubling down on a breaking hand! Which by the way is one of my favorite moves at a blackjack table after gambling and drinking for about 10 hours. I love it, and Jonas's commitment.

LMAO, I was just listening to Chael going off on how bad the Khabib thing was. Bitching that Khabib didn't do anything to "sell" the fight then does all this stuff after the fight. Bisping kind of saying the same thing.
While listening to this the only thing that came to my mind was. What ever happened to "AS REAL AS IT GETS". Isn't that still the UFC's moto? Isn't everything that happened Khabib's REAL emotions?

Kahbob is the next Darren Till. Darren Till, a huge WW, had one good clear cut win against a top opponent and that was against Cowboy, an undersized WW. He looked great there. Then he beat wonderboy in a super close fight that could have gone either way. His resume looks nothing like Khabib's, but have fun shit-talking if Conor wins. Yo Jonas... if Khabib is the next Darren Till, and Khabib just finished Conor, that makes Conor who exactly?

Dude...The irony is that the mainstream pundits understood Khabib "Because we have absolutely at this point glamorized the subhuman behavior of Conor Mcgregor." While bums trying to be on the UFC/Conor's good graces are trying to vilify Khabib.

Not talked about enough is Khabib's willingness to stand in front of Conor and exchange. Conor may have been a little gassed, but he was also unsure what Khabib was going to do and had to respect his hands after Khabib nearly dropped him. We saw a LOT out of Khabib and he answered a lot of questions about him being one dimensional. He isn't a great striker, but he is dangerous and skilled enough to make a guy like Conor unsure of what's coming.
Khabib will rag doll Ferguson around and walk through Ferguson's power, but Ferguson does have an awesome gas tank and may be able to do something the second half of the fight. That makes it interesting.
Khabib vs Woodley would probably be good because we would see what Khabib does if someone can stop his takedowns. I have to favor Woodley given his speed and unwillingness to grapple when he doesn't want to. But great fight.
Khabib vs GSP would be another very interesting fight (not that anyone wants to see it but I would). I am going to give GSP the slight nod due to his jab, speed and grappling ability (he can defend Khabib's shot).

His technique doesn't look great, but I think we've all seen enough MMA now to agree that technique isn't everything. Khabib would have to be the favorite against Ferguson, but Ferguson would be the best guy off his back Khabib has ever faced, right? Still, though, I think Khabib is a decent favorite against Ferguson. In all honesty, for sheer interest level, I'd rather see Ferguson v. Conor. That would be a really fun fight. Woodley is too big, strong, and too good of a wrestler for Khabib and Woodley fights to his strengths. I don't really see this being all that close. (I'm assuming this would be at 170, since Woodley could never make 155). Khabib v. GSP - GSP has said he could make 155. If so, I'd be very interested in seeing this fight. Or, let them do a superfight with no belt on the line at 162 or something. If GSP and Khabib walk into the cage at close to the same weight, I'd say this is a coin flip. If they fight at 170 I would have to lean toward GSP. The layoff concerns me about GSP, but his wrestling is so good, and his standup is more varied and better than Khabib's. GSP has a six inch reach advantage over Khabib and he knows how to use his jab. Tough fight for Khabib.

I think Tony Ferguson is probably the best LW in the world and I hope he stays healthy to get Conor or Khabib after they rematch. I don't think he can stop Khabib from taking him down early, but I think he could survive and take over later. Essentially I think he could successfully implement Conor's game plan. Conor just doesn't have an elite gas tank and it's always going to be his Achilles heel vs the best of the best.
