You'd imagine he'd be kinda sweaty after launching a ten minute, full auto assault while running back and forth between windows, reloading, dealing with thousands of hot casings and a red hot muzzle or ten... But I guess Rambo doesn't sweat... Because he JUST BLEEDS! I can literally count the shell casings on one hand here guys... I think you are overestimating how hard it is to shoot guns. From the video I have seen, there is substantial time between groups of shooting. I am guessing he didn't necessarily go window to window between those groups either. Standing or kneeling and shooting full or semi auto with tripods, benches or even just prone is not at all physically taxing, and there is no noticeable heat from the gun or the casings that would make you hot, especially with the windows open. Between the pic of old dude pounding shots with his eyes rolled back, And this video of him eating shit while he's drunk in the casino... It's hard not to laugh when i picture the old guy going "full Arnold" circa Commando as he drunkenly stumbles around the hotel room... www.google.com/amp/s/www.nbcnews.com/storyline/las-vegas-shooting/amp/casino-security-video-shows-vegas-shooter-2011-n807016#ampshare=https://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/las-vegas-shooting/casino-security-video-shows-vegas-shooter-2011-n807016

Paddock was supposedly firing either bump or full auto for ten solid minutes... How many rounds do you suppose he fired? 3000? More? Where did all the brass go? Did the FBI sweep them up super fast before they took crime scene photos? ""Oh that's a dumb question, hey look at this dummy who doesn't know as much about guns as me asking his "dumb" super logical fucking questions.. By the way I know more about guns than you."" Ok, great, we're all Rambo, I get it, but wouldn't the hotel carpet have burn holes from red hot muzzles and brass? Brass is not that hot when it comes out... nowhere near hot enough to melt carpet. Also the brass would be within a few feet of the windows as it only ejects about 4-6 feet from the gun. I have not seen a picture anywhere near the window, so unless I havn't seen the pictures you have, i am not surprised to not see any spent brass. Looks like he used a sledgehammer to break the window glass...guess he was worried about riccochet. ;]

So because he had a drunk slip-n-fall situation 6 years ago, he's all the sudden a barely functioning feeble geezer?

Am I wrong or do I see at leat 20-25 rounds in every pic?
Carpet very hard to tell if any casings burned through. I have to say, if the guy was picking up a different gun in between firing, I don't know that those casings are gonna be that hot to burn a hole.
Mini sledge makes perfect sense for breaking tjose windows. You never fire into a window or anything else if it's close to you. Isn't that gun safety 101?

Mini sledge makes perfect sense for breaking tjose windows. You never fire into a window or anything else if it's close to you. Isn't that gun safety 101? We have to remember that dude is bump firing from a bipod... What's the trajectory?! Let's think about bump firing DOWN on to a crowd on the street level and what the trajectory would be. Also, the rifle's bipod is posted on the floor INSIDE the window for that to happen? So if the bipod is posted on the floor, he'd be well inside the window I suppose, Because of that, I'm thinking the spent shells end up in the room, rather than going out the window... Seems like he'd have a tough time getting proper downward trajectory to hit the street while bump firing from inside the window on a bipod from the 47th floor...especially being a drinker who (((supposedly))) has very little firearms training... Is there vids of this dude at the range? Can't wait to see hotel security cam footage of homeboy lugging all those big duffle bags up the elevator...

I don't see a bipod on all of those guns. Not to mention I'd like to see the guy fire full auto from a bipod. Could me being somewhat a rookie, but I haven't figured out the technique yet.
Im gonna wait for the tapes of him in the casino. I'm assuming he will be rolling in suitcases. Don't know why you'd assume he's having to carry them.

I'm not saying be literally carried it by hand, however he had to personally transport them, And transporting heavy luggage is a bitch, even with wheeled suitcases. And since he obviously has trouble walking, I suppose he probably did flag down a trusty bellhop to carry his rifles up to his room... So while firing, he's going from prone with the bipod to standing with the non bipod then back to prone...seems like a lot knee bending activity for an old guy...

Also, Im assuming most ranges are not going to allow his firearms inside so I'm guessing he does what most do and just goes out in the middle of the desert.
It's really not that difficult a feat.
I'm interested to see what comes up in the next couple days. I really hope they release the hotel and casino footage.
And heavy luggage is an ease with wheels. Try it sometime, it's a game changer.

Lets go to the extremes for a second with the weights.
Lets say he had 3,000 rounds in the room, which is probably high. Lets all of them were 762 soviets since he had an AK clone, even though the new ones shoot the lighter 545s, but we'll assume he was old-school. Lets for the sake of volume assume the rounds are a full cylinder and not tapered
That would come out to 109 pounds, and take up a volume of roughly 1,037 cubic inches (actually less than that when you consider various tapering and what not). A smaller 20" carry-on luggage with wheels has over 2,000 cubic inches and weight about 6 pounds.
So, one carry-on suitcase, totaling 115 pounds with wheels on it... I don't think he'd even need a cart to get it to his room. Combine that with as someone pointed out earlier, those guns broken down could be kept in what 3 duffel bags? So basically one large luggage, one small luggage, and he got all that into the room if he was being efficient.

Booked a room in Chicago 6 weeks ago during Lalapalooza, which had daily crowds up to 80,000 gathered in lots similar to Vegas.
Booked a room in Vegas 3-4 weeks ago during a similar but smaller outdoor concert in Vegas.
Had explosives in his room, in his car, and in his home, and apparently an escape plan.
Was scoping venues and making dry runs for months.

Also, who here is 64?
Everyone is basing this off your own personal abilities, not from the abilities of an untrained old guy who drinks heavily and who's also prone to falling down while walking.
Trajectory will be my most interesting issue. Bump fire is usually done at horizontal angle, not typically fired with a sharp downward trajectory...especially by an inexperienced old drunk.
Also, despite the weight and however many fucking wheels the mother-fucking suitcase did or didn't have...he had to personally transfer them...himself...so there should be footage of old guy lugging bags to his room, regardless of how much they weigh or if they had spinners on the wheel rims...

Have you ever heard of a bell cart? We can go away for a weekend and my wife packs like we are going on a 3 month safari... I roll up to the hotel, ask the bell desk for a cart, load my own bags on it and roll it up to my room.... why is that so hard to fathom that's what this guy did? I don't understand how you are so confused and hung up on how he got the stuff to his room? And as you mentioned, I'm sure there will be footage of him moving his bags released at some point. And as far as him falling down, how do you know he is 'prone' to falling down? How many videos have you seen of him falling down? I'm 45 and in good shape, I have been shit-faced drunk and have fallen down, this does not make me prone to falling down. If I am sober, I ain't falling.

So a couple hours before he arrived in Vegas, he purchased a Ruger American .308 bolt-action rifle, and it is missing. Not at the rooms, vehicle, houses.
Allow me to fan the conspiracy flames and get MattShark into a frenzy.
What if there was a second shooter, using the rifle, but was after only one target. Then had Paddock lay waste to cover up it was actually an assassination.

I like that.
Kill 57 random people to hid one deliberate hit. This was the plot to Jack Reacher . . . minus 51 kills.

Absolutely wpuld love you here what he has to say about this. Can someone near his area make some smoke signals or turn on the batsign?

Given the riles we've seen, makes sense a majority would be 556, however it was reported he had an AK platform rifle too. For the sake of MattShark I was assuming that EVERY SINGLE ROUND was of the largest and heaviest that he'd use just to show that even in the most extreme of cases (which obviously this was not) it wouldn't be that hard to get it to the room even without a cart. The 223/556 weighs about 25% less and takes up about 27% less volume, which makes it even easier to get that much up there.
