You know the "silent majority" that voted from Trump is a dog whistle for what I was talking about, dumb white folks (a lot of whom weren't previous voters)? Well the SJW antifa fan young socialists that didn't and don't vote, would have turned out to vote for Bernie and he would have smashed the election. And there would have been a lot of people going "how the hell did this guy win...the polls". Antifa doesn't have those kinds of numbers. Especially the voting kind. I'd say there's a good chance that a bunch of those little pussies in Black masks are under 18. Just like there aren't 63 million white supremacists in this country, there are not 63 million members of antifa. You missed the point. I don't think there's that many antifa either. But SJW, apathetic toward antifa types? Enough that it would have swung the election. Just the like the groups that came out for Obama that had never voted, just like the groups that came out for Trump that never voted, there are still a lot of untapped potential voters in this country.

Just remember where you are. You're in the most liberal state in the country, and easily the most socialist state in the country. Bernie just didn't have any kind of support outside of Eastern Massachusetts and California. He still doesn't. California is definitely leaning more socialist. But that is not a trend that is occurring across the country. Any educated liberal (not the millennial or antifa types) would not have voted for Bernie. Nobody with any level of common sense or intelligence could ever think that anything Bernie wanted to implement was possible or wouldn't cannonball our economy. His ideas are feel-good, but when you actually listen or read what he wants to promise/spend and how he wants to pay for them... even moderately stupid people understand that you cannot do what he said. If he won the primary, you would have had lots and lots of people that were leaning Hillary or committed to Hillary not vote for Bernie as he was essentially the opposite of her on the economy in many ways. I hate to say it this way, but the only people who could with a sound mind vote for Bernie are people that know they have no or limited earning potential and have decided that their best option is to hope for a large handout instead of opportunity to be successful on their own hard work and merit.

When it comes down to it, Bernie's big issue against Trump in a hypothetical match up was simple. It wasn't his personal hypocritical skeletons in the closet, it wasn't that outside of Warren nobody wants to work with him in his own party. It wasn't that Trump had more support from mainstream democrats than Bernie had from Republicans.
It was that we are a Republic, not a Democracy, and Bernie supporters (who can vote), are not distributed across the country (or more importantly the state's districts) in a way that would ever give him a win in the Electoral College without a record number of faithless electors which would have lead to bigger outcries than they did against Trump and the Russians.

People who think Trump would have wiped the floor with Bernie are delusional, or high. Shit, I know quite a few people who refused to vote for Hillary because of how the primary was rigged against Bernie, which probably had quite a bit to do with Trump winning. More so than this "silent majority" showing up to vote for Trump. So many Bernie voters just sat out the election (in the millions) when they would have showed up to vote had Hillary not been the nominee.
It makes my head spin to think people would vote for that crazy old fuck but it is pretty evident that he had a huge following that would have given Trump fits. There is no way to know who would have one and anybody claiming to know is just guessing and pretending to be privy to some insider knowledge. It wouldn't have been easy for Trump, at all.

Whatever Junkies and bums Bernie picked up would have been largely offset by blacks who stayed home IMO.

Actually the numbers make it very clear that the individuals who are delusional are the people saying that Bernie Sanders would have beat Trump. Bernie Sanders had to compete against the the favoured choice of the party. And he failed to secure the nomination in spite of this overwhelming support you guys say he had.
Have you gentlemen convinced yourselves that Trump didn't have to do the exact same thing? Have you gotten it in your head that he just walked into the nomination? That he didn't have to rip down every wall that the GOP put up in front of his nomination? Because it seems like some of you have.
You guys need to take a look at that Electoral College map again. Bernie would have gotten beat worse than Hillary did. End of story. Bottom line.
Trump got the nomination because his supporters came out and overwhelmed The Establishment supporters within the GOP. And it's because they had the numbers, that's the only reason he got the nomination.
Bernie didn't get the nomination because his supporters lacked the numbers to overcome the Hillary supporters within the DNC. Hillary beat his ass by 4 million votes. But you guys think that he could have beat Trump? LOL. I might have just smoked a bowl but I think you guys ate a bowl full of LSD coated corn flakes.

But you guys think that he could have beat Trump? LOL. I might have just smoked a bowl but I think you guys ate a bowl full of LSD coated corn flakes. So did Hillary get the DNC to cheat Bernie out of the election or not? Because your post implies that her victory over Sanders was legit The argument against that is the reason Hillary had the support she had, is because the DNC backed her and got their key areas to gather more votes for her than Bernie could on his own, without the parties help. Trump was able to get it done, without the early support form the RNC, because there were a zillion other people running, who mostly sucked, and that split the votes and support among all of them. While Trump, who's message really resonated with people, got the benefit of that, as well as not having a single, well supported opponent by the party, or the voters. In the DNC it was just Hillary and Bernie that mattered. And who ever got parties backing was winning that thing. Clinton made sure it was her Then once it came time for the presidential election, she came pretty close. Despite all the negative shit about her. Despite all the people that despise her. If it were Bernie, who's message was resonating with a lot of people just as much as Trump's, he easily could have grabbed those swing states that Hillary missed on. Hell I think he may have only needed two, because of how many electorates they have. You really think Bernie couldn't swing a state with as many college kids as Pennsylvania, Florida, Ohio, or Michigan, when he was bullshit promising free tuition and student loan's being wiped clean?

He lost by 4 million votes to Hillary Clinton in just the primary. 4 million votes. The entire Boston metropolitan area could have voted unanimously for Bernie, and he still would not have won.
You're basing your Theory on the notion that Bernard's message wasn't getting out to the masses during the primaries. But it was. It was everywhere. Saying they couldn't reach people? Give me a fucking break dude. Everybody and their mom saw the little yellow bird that landed on the podium. Because Bernie's people had the money to get that shit out in front of people. The unfortunate reality was that his message resonated most strongly with the group of people least likely to remember to vote.
Yes Hillary rigged the primaries in her favor as much as she could. But that's not the only reason she won. The other reason she won was because she was running against a crazy old man who blathered on about socialist principles and free college and other Pie in the Sky bullshit that anyone over the age of 28 should have known was just that: bullshit. He was actually too far to the left to resonate with enough people.
I mean if you look here the two guys saying that Bernie would have won the overall election are in California and Massachusetts. Of course you're going to think that those people had more support than they actually had because you are surrounded by their largest core of supporters. Bernie got his ass handed to him in Maine dude. He didn't win here. He didn't win in New Hampshire either. He also didn't win Massachusetts. The only state in New England he got was Vermont. And that wasn't because of superdelegates.
The GOP did everything it could to get in Trump's way as well. Sure, none of the candidates he was running against gained control of the GOP during the primary. But there's some evidence out there right now that some very powerful forces within the GOP paid the exact same people that Hillary paid for the Russia dossier.
Trump had the numbers to overcome all of that. Bernie did not.
This is why I find the whole idea of him winning the actual election to be so laughable. He couldn't even overcome the worst presidential candidate to ever run. But he was going to beat Trump's message that basically gave the finger to the last 8 years of democrat rule? Okay guys. LOL

I'm not gonna debate any further about who would have won because it's a waste of time. But Bernie was a snake in the grass that many people loved. We've got a nation full of gimme gimmes. Don't underestimate them.
Had Bernie been on that final 2...he would have the president potion right now. And his tax plan would have likely sucked. And all your left friends would be declaring how great the world is going to be now. And it would have been really hard to go on social media, more so than it already is.
Trump barely got it. Barely. Thank god for the electoral college set up the way it is

Anything less would be even more insane than what we have now, which borders on democracy on a national scale - which is at least as dumb as communism and will eventually lead to it. The original way was the only real sane one. NOBODY voted for president. Your state governments did

Ha if we were a Democracy, HRC never would have gotten anywhere as close as she did to Presidency that election. A Democracy favors Bernie more than Hillary, and to a huge extent most of the candidates that decide to run do so only because they have the infrastructure to run a race in a Republic. A Democracy you have to please the population, in a Republic you only have to please key areas and ride your own party coattails elsewhere. If we were a Democracy, people like Ron Paul, Ralph Nader in the past would have been top contenders. For the 16' election, the Republicans (of the ones that ran) would have been dominated by Pataki and Rand Paul, the Democrats by O'Malley, and Stein would have been a strong shower at first (but would end up seeing the death of the green party), along with Joe Lieberman who would have come in as an independent and probably win if the rest off the people go to negative in the campaign. In the end Pataki would have taken the election IMO. The political workhorses of both side can and have worked with him so they'll help with the money, and he's "likable", and the only one who's politics are in line with a majority of the country.

Not really rumors, Bernie has started to make it clear he is going to give it another go and everybody shitting on the DNC is a way if separating themselves from Clinton. Between his new house and his wife basically ruining a college (and may still see charges), he's too tainted for a serious run. You got Maxine Waters about to jump into the ring, but she is... nuts saying it will be for a newly formed party Elizabeth Warren who is too focused on a singular issue for the general population. Jay Inslee if he gets sick of being Governor would probably win against anyone the Republicans have ready currently. Also from Washington, Congressman Kilmer is gonna be a contender in the future if he stays in politics. Howard Schultz seems to be testing the waters with various speeches, writing, and stepping down as CEO. There was an effort to draft him into the 2016 election by part of the DNC as an answer to Trump. Joe Biden probably won't run this time around, but turns out the Dems love him morningconsult.com/2017/06/17/popular-2020-democratic-prospect-not-named-joe-biden/Tulsi Gabbard will wipe the floor with anyone one from either side that runs against her as it stands now. Hell you could run the combo of Obama with Michelle as his VP and they'd lose to Gabbard. Though it is possible she has some skeletons that would tarnish her. On the Republican side, it is looking more and more like there will be a challenge to Trump in the primaries (and each time that happens, even though Incumbent wins Primaries, they have lost the General). Jeff Flake has been making a name for himself as the anti-trump conservative, he has supporters on the left, and he doesn't seem to give a shit if he upsets the status quo. However he's hurting for money. Mark Cuban. The only serious threat to Trump. You get the business side of Trump for the most part with the social leanings of most of the country. However, right now the only thing keeping him from committing to a run is his family, he doesn't like the idea of almost completely giving up any sense of private life at the age his kids are at.

of all the things jackel is consistently wrong about, and it's a LONG fucking list, his take on politics is by far the worst. Always predicting the absolutely wrong candidate, always misunderstanding the platform of every single candidate, and having no understanding of political terms like democracy. But remember, jackel is a full scale socialist who beats the drum for the tax payers subsidizing lazy fucks like himself with a "living wage". Pay him to do nothing and make sure it is enough so he never has to contribute his entire life.

Hillary forced Biden out, and made it a big no-no to try and draft him back in, and the DNC expected him to take the nomination easily.

Anyone I listed before, including Hillary if she did run again. There is no chance Hillary runs again. Her chance is as good as Bernie's chance. They are both yesterday's news. And this would be the 3rd time Hillary tried to run for president, I think that might be a record. After everything that came out just this week with regards to Hillary, her political career is most likely dead. Bernie, on the other hand is actually an independent. If the DNC is righted, the last thing they are going to do is let him get the nomination. They need a strong internal candidate. Preferably a woman, who is preferably not white. I personally think that's fucking stupid, but it's kind of easy to see that that's the direction they are going to go in. If she wants it, the money seems to be behind Kamala Harris getting the nomination. The Kamala memes alone will make it worthwhile.
