The article calls both men "Asian" Does that mean Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc? Or is that just their cheeky way of not saying Arab, because middle eastern countries are technically in Asia? |

Yeah, I'm quite sure that erectile dysfunction is a YYUUUUGE problem in our military forces. Mainly staffed by many thousands of 18-to-45 year old aggressive alpha males in good health? Yep, no doubt about it....I'll bet they're selling Viagra at the PX. And Jackel claims the Aurora theater and Pulse nightclub shooters -- a mental case and another Muslim extremist -- were guys who couldn't get it up? Comedy gold. The argument given is that PTSD causes erectile dysfunction and ruins marriages and this is a response to that. How true or widespread that is I don't know and strongly doubt. |

PTSD is so prevalent here at the VA I'm in. I would guess 80% of people here are being treated for it as well as D&A. I would also guess 65% are getting some form of disability payment for it. It's no joke, some of these guys jump like mad when a loud bang happens and for sure, don't touch anyone from behind or you run the risk of getting tagged. That kinda shit is a major no go here.

Oddly enough, middle eastern people are sometimes listed as Asian... while its geographically correct, in a sense, i think youll find that the classification works well for manipulating certain stats... Granted, much like the trans-related healthcare spending, was non-active duty, after they retired. The active-duty spending on boner medicine though was 8.4 million, and increasing by about 10% every year since 04'. Trans-related spending is only about 4m, under 1 million for Active Duty, and is actually decreasing because the medical expenses are becoming cheaper. Actually it was you, following Garth's statements, and backed up by OC and Tony I think that made link that they couldn't get it up. |

They never refer to it as that they always refer to them as Asians. In the United States we have a pretty clear idea of what Asian means because of how our culture differentiates between people from the Far East and people from the Middle East. Far East = you obviously know Kung Fu. Middle East = clearly a muslim extremist. |

Here's some random speculation regarding global warming, or climate change or whatever the fuck you want to call it. This is all based on my understanding of a few things and I have not researched it one bit.
You start with climate change. Except instead of all of this retarded debate that we are having in this country about who's responsible for it, what to do about it, or is it even really happening? You have a group in power who just accepted it as part of a cycle that naturally occurs over the course of thousands and thousands of years.
So the first thing that you would address would be the elephant in the room. Civilization across the entire planet is at its most concentrated points along shorelines. Even cities like Chicago wouldn't have risen up without some kind of Waterway. But with the temperature rising, sea levels are going to also rise due to glacial melt.
What if you actually believed it was happening faster than the mainstream scientists like Bill Nye are saying it is happening? What if you actually speculated that some of these massive ice shelves down in Antarctica falling into the ocean could lead to a sea level rise of 6 ft over the course of a matter of weeks?
Imagine if something like that were to happen in this country. You got Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland over on the West Coast. All underwater. Then over on the east coast you have Boston, New York, DC, Baltimore, Miami Etc. All displaced. We're talking hundreds of millions of people. Homeless. Jobless. Hopeless. This massive displacement of people will result in a massive Exodus towards both High ground and open space.
Our country has done fuck all to prepare for this eventuality.
But I wasn't talking about our country. Imagine the goings-on in China if such an event were to occur. You have the exact same situation there, except instead of hundreds of millions we're talking fucking billions. Billions of people displaced.
Such a global catastrophe would be a turning point in the history of our civilization. The United States would be virtually crippled. Europe, same shit. There would be Mass Exodus of refugees from every continent.
But then you have China. Who for some strange reason have constructed massive cities in High Ground territory that are just sitting there empty, waiting for people to come for some reason.
People used to point to that stuff in China and supposing a conspiracy theory amongst the world's Elite to relocate to China after a global catastrophe of this sort. But I think it might make more sense, that China is just preparing to be the only superpower left after this possibly cataclysmic event.

This reminds me of a conversation I had last night where I wondered why the US didn't offer to replace everyone's nuclear bombs with a few top-tier thermobaric options (like the FOAB). You get half the blast radius, but easier to launch, more reliable, and most importantly, you don't poison the entire planet. Also with a more conventional weapon like that, people more likely to use it making leaders and countries much more open to negotiations over issues. |
