Just curious but how do you know that it was five people who reported him? And who exactly did they report him to? DHS itself or did they cry to the mods who had left several years earlier? DHS, was a group message thing, they asked if I wanted to join the complaint, figured they though I would because knew I didn't like him. I said I didn't want to be involved with it though he can say what he wants. Supposedly there were 3 more lurkers at least that also called. Not sure what it is that set them off. Nobody here was part of that "group". I never took him as the kind of guy would actually act in person like he does online. I always got the feeling he the kinda guy that uses the keyboard to make himself feel better/stronger, let it be an escape from a mundane life. Wait, so a group of people and some lurkers made a group chat complaint? How did the lurkers even know about the complaint if they were just lurkers? Pretty convenient that the posters from the group email no longer post on here to verify your story.

Why do I feel that somehow, through the fault of someone else, that this will fall through someway or another. Through no fault of your own, of course. Just got a feeling. I'll happily wager if anyone has faith. Given my luck, I'd bet against myself right now. I'm doing what I need to do, out of my hands now.

So basically what you're saying is this that they were a bunch of anonymous types. You know what dude? I think you maybe could get a job at the New York Times. They love basing stuff on Anonymous people.

What throws me off is Notovitch's claim of him being Saint Issa, he claims come from translations of Vedic period texts (maybe one of the most fascinating periods of history IMO). That predate Jesus by 500+ years, and were also being done written before the creation of Buddhism. That said, him being Buddhist or a Jain makes a fun ton of sense anyways. A lot of Buddhists are actually catholic, I think they are the highest concentration of them outside the various Hindu denominations.

New "pride" flag to include black and brown stripes for people of color. So at this point, it's ANYTHING but white hetero.

You guys might want to check out the most recent stuff from Project Veritas.
They got a producer from CNN on hidden camera admitting that a lot of the Russia stuff is based on bullshit.
He also talks about how after Trump withdrew from the Paris Accord the CEO of CNN told his staff that they did a good job highlighting the significance of the Paris Accords and how bad it was that we withdrew from it.
But then he instructed all of his producers to go back to the Russia story.
The producer said that it was basically all about ratings.
We already knew that. But it's a little different when someone who can actually prove it admits it.
It reminds me of a soliloquy from the old show The Newsroom. Basically it's a long speech about how the downfall of American news media was the failure of Congress to include in their deal with broadcasters that the six o clock news was to contain 0 paid advertising.
That failure led to the news turning into what it has become. A sensationalistic shitshow that is there to shock you and scare you and keep your eyes glued to the tube for the next commercial break.
That one mistake from Congress has brought us to this point. You have millions of people who think that they can trust those people on the television 100%. It has turned us into a nation of venom spitting troglodytes who are not actually well-informed at all. But it is also drawn us into camps based on which news source we trust and listen to the most. And what that has done has made it so that we can't even agree on what the facts are anymore. It's a tragedy if you ask me.
The people who want to be well-informed have to seek out news sources that do not rely on flashy graphics and yellow journalism to keep you focused on them and their story. It used to be that what kept you focused on a news source was its reputation for chasing the facts and then presenting them in a balanced way. Sometime shortly after cable news became a thing, that started to go away. And it's never coming back.

Who decides about this flag? If there like a Gay counsel that sends a decree for all the gays to change their flag.

No. According to Milo what happened was that the Philadelphia chapter of some faggot organization decided to make the change. And then all the other virtue signaling dip Tardes felt compelled to do the same thing.

We don't have our own TV network, awards show, college empowerment groups, lower standards for academic achievement, lower standards for employment qualifications, parades, marches on Washington, dedicated night at the baseball/football/hockey/basketball game, month of the year, or congressional caucus.... Why would we possible get a stripe on a flag?

CNN producer caught on tape admitting that the trump-putin narrative is bs and mostly for ratings. And I just figured out a new best part of this. The penchant for gay guys to just talk way too much is now biting the left wing news organization right in the ass in a kind of rapey way. I wonder how much longer that John guy is going to be employed by CNN?

Not sure How I really feel about this: www.npr.org/2017/06/27/534443389/in-this-la-neighborhood-protest-art-is-a-verbIts a story about this LA neighborhood that is protesting the opening of art galleries and coffee shops so the neighborhood does not get gentrified. They are worried that eventually the current residents will get priced out if hipsters come along with the high rent prices, gastropubs and their bullshit 10 dollar cups of coffee. On one hand I feel like hey, this is capitalism, we can't stop people from opening businesses. But on the other hand I've seen first hand what gentrification does to a neighborhood. It pretty much replaces the local residents and replaces them with hispters and out of this world rent prices. It happened time and time again in NY. If you were lower middle class, you could at least dream of buying your own spot back in the 90's...now its out of reach even for upper middle class or whatever follows UMC, but not mega rich. Basically a 1 bedroom apartment will cost north of half a million bucks in a Brooklyn neighborhood where Biggie and Jay z were talking about selling crack in the 90's. But you can't stop progress, right? These people just want their neighborhood to stay shitty so prices won't go up..............but its hipsters, so I understand not wanting a bunch of pussies around.

Boyle Heights. Been going on since about 2011ish.
A realtor in downtown LA arranged a bike ride for downtown workers about 5 years ago. He wanted to show how it was possible to bike into LA from Boyle heights. They were met by a mob and turned away.
I feel like you can't stop progress. You can't stop revitalization, much like you can't really stop people from coming here and setting up communities. But make no mistake about it, people are bwing displaced.
Ive sold 2 buildings in that area. I was looking for myself about 4 or 5 years ago. Some areas have a view.
You know who doesn't complain about areas being revitalized? The people who buckled down, bought when it was low and lived there through the shit times. Those people are waiting for getrification and would bottle it if they could.

This is happening all over California. My area is about 1 hour from the Bay Area, and 1:4 homes here are being bought as second homes and the prices are going through the roof. Houses here that were $500k in '09 are $1mm now and it is impossible for a married couple making $100k to buy anything. It sucks for people who were just behind the age curve to get in when people like me did, however from a purely selfish standpoint, I am making a shitload of money off of construction services. I don't know any way to stop it other than ride it out or move.

In NY for example, I just don't know where people are going. It happened all over Brooklyn, Harlem, Uptown, all these ghetto hoods turned into high price locations. Makes me wonder where are all those ghetto people going? My guess is that they are leaving NY.

In my area the Mexicans are pushed in to the outlying areas or they end up putting 10 people in a 2 bedroom apartment and split the $2,400.00 a month. I have 3 guys that work for me that I am paying $26 - $28 p/hour (50 hours a week) and they do about $20k in side jobs a year (cash). They all have wives that work making around $20 per hour. This means they are grossing about $130k per year in their household. That should be plenty in any market to buy a starter home in a nice neighborhood in good condition... but it is not. Here you need to spend $650k to not be in a shithole.

Same over here. 550k and up and even then you got a fixer.
In regards to construction...the guys I usually use I recommended out and they are now booked for 6-8 weeks. Need a finish carpenter to just base and case a place for me. Can't find anyone. Everyone is booked. I've got a fractured wrist so I've been avoiding doing it myself but tomorrow my girl and I are just gonna bring out the chop saw and wing it.

That's the other thing...where are people getting that money to buy these 650k houses. Not everyone is clearing over 100k a year....and that won't even do.
Here in Florida, prices has gone up like 40-50%. I don't know of anyone that has gotten a 50% raise in the same time frame.
Hopefully there's not another super bubble coming.

It is the most insane building economy right now, and I am literally turning away work at 2-3 times what I am taking on. I hear every day people frustrations with not being able to find any GC's or trades that are not booked 2-3 months. Now is when you make the gravy money.

I hope all of the PMI is enough to protect against another major bubble. In my area most everyone is just okay with a high LTV house and no savings. I guess it's more important to look rich than be rich, so people will completely fuck over their future to buy the biggest and best house they can and drain their savings. I don't get it at all.

Make that money Kyle. Glad to hear it.
Also, people will buy the best home they can...and then proceed to buy all the fancy shit to fill it up with. And of course, new home, new driveway...gotta get a new ride.
That's where I find a lot of people get in a pickle.
Meanwhile, I have mostly 2nd hand furniture that I've picked up over the year's lol. I just bought my first set of matching couches that I've ever owned.
