Anyone here watch the "Green Room with Paul Provenza" when it was on? Amazing round table with stand-up comedians. You can get all the episodes on YouTube now if you haven't, about 25 minutes each, 12 episodes total. These are pretty great. Bill Burr rips some female "comedian" apart because she calls him a homophobe for saying the word faggot in his routine.

Bill Burr rips some female "comedian" apart because she calls him a homophobe for saying the word faggot in his routine. That was a great one, maybe the most thought-provoking one. He didn't quite rip her, he was more along the lines of "That's the question to ask", and then went on to explain it. Jonathan Winters was on an episode, holy shit no wonder why he's a comedy legend. You can tell he was Robin Williams mentor too. Rosanne was on one where she ripped on liberals and Democrats. The one with Kumail Nanjiani, Margaret Cho, Richard Lewis and Jeff Ross was one of the best discussions on middle eastern shit I've seen in a long time. Chris Hardwick calling Endorphins "Brain Cum" during Jimmy Carr's discussion on the how comedy actually affected human evolution was great.

I've seen some of the Green Room. Some of my favorite moments was Jimmy Carrs, when asked what the most offensive joke he had ever written, he said, "If only Africa had more mosquito nets, then we could save millions of mosquitos every year from dying needlessly of aids."
And there was this guy they would plant in the audience to be disruptive and yell sexist, racist crap. And they would kick him out. This one time they were cuffing him and he was like, "I just got one thing to say, can say one thing?" And during the pause, Bill Burr chimes in with "LIVE, from New York!" Oh my fucking god, the place erupted

You can read Provenza's statement in the 3rd comment here www.third-beat.com/2011/08/01/the-green-rooms-schticky-situation/I don't feel like skimming thru them again at the moment, who was the one that asked what is the difference between a Jew and Santa Claus? One goes down a chimney the other up

Chappelle's bit from his upcoming special about poor white people and Trump is making it's rounds today. I wonder if this is the moment more white people finally turn on him. Gotta give him credit for having the balls to speak directly in the face of one of his biggest money generating demographics. The white, blue collar, lower middle class has to make up a huge % of the money he's made in his career.
As far as the bit goes, it's funny, but not classic or unforgettable.

This guy Ismo (he's Finnish) is my new favorite comedian. Here he is talking about why "ass" is the most complicated word in English. He does the same thing with "shit" in another version. Skip to 2:00 for where he starts to talk about "ass": youtu.be/RAGcDi0DRtU

But then again we know you do it for the easy work opposed to qualifications. 2. You can tell this guy is an academic. He's been around for awhile, he's actually a physicist. 3. His ability to adjust the same joke to another word that is "safe" for US audiences is extremely good, while showing one of the more ridiculous areas of our slang.

It never ceases to amaze me how you come out of nowhere to be an ass (see my usage of the word there?) Obviously he's an academic and a grammarian.

Not exactly stand up but close to it, you guys ever seen "Funny or Die's" youtube series "Between 2 Ferns with Zach Galafinakis"? Hilarious shit. He just interviews people and tries really hard to piss them off and I think it's basically improv like he and the man/women he's interviewing both know certain things they'll say or that will happen but I think most is improv and Zach just insults them and sometimes they argue back. I'm gonna post the 3 that are actually funny but the ones I saw after that, like with Obama and Hilary and Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis and Jennifer Aniston are actually mostly not that funny and often uncomfortable cause you just see them getting really quiet and pissed as Zach insults them over and over haha. But these three are funny as shit: With Steve Carell: youtu.be/1c-3FQap7iwWith Will Ferrel: youtu.be/8vgpWyAcqO4With Michael Cera: youtu.be/n6teAjGAhecIf you just want to start cracking up immediately go to 2:20 of the one with Will Ferrell or for some gay shit 2:18 of the one with Michael Cera LOL...
