How much do you currently have invested in whatever it is you are big on investing in?

Keeping a close eye on Uber today. CEO taking a leave of absence after some emails leaked where he crassly told managers not to fuck employees or do drugs at work.

If this makes it to $100/share, I'll be sending you a nice gratuity. I think .00001% of an investment portfolio is perfectly fine for penny stock speculations.

I got a bunch of bitcoins about 6 years back and completely forgot I did. I don't even remember why I did.
But what I do know is where every penny of it is going.
Straight to The Clinton Foundation.
Or, since I'm not retarded....we'll be starting with 6000 sq.ft. instead of 3000.
I also jumped on WholeFoods the morning I saw Amazon was buying. That was the biggest one day turn over I've ever had.
Walmart's purchase of Jet dot com for 3 billion appears to have been as retarded as donating to The Clinton Foundation.
And I would wager if my dad could still talk, he'd be happy about his purchase of Amazon stock back in when I was still in college. "Buy and hold. Buy. And hold."
If I find that his wife sold that... The first billion pennies of fuck you money I ever get is being spent on forcing her to spend all her ill gotten gains on a lawyer who I will make rich via dragging it out for as long as legally possible.
Also- Costco is getting hammered on because of this Amazon deal. There's a play there that I'd make if I could stretch further.

I talked to an financial adviser a few years back and he said Amazon would be a gold mine. I jumped all over it and could not be happier.

Ethereum dropped. I got in a couple hours ago. It's still low... 13% drop among all cryptocurrencies today, 20% for Ether. Ether probably gonna wind up being split into two currencies if they can't figure out a unified way to upgrade it, which will crash it even more.

We will see. I don't think it does. But you never know. Don't think it does what? Even the creator of it says it needs an upgrade, and they are having issues finding a way to do it without splitting it into two currencies. BitCoin basically pulled a unified upgrade out of their ass at the last second, but the way Ether is designed they are at a roadblock. And this is one of the main issues with cryptocurrencies, they require technical maintenance basically that makes our paper money security look like child's play.

I just wanted to see what bullshit you would come up with.
It's already split. Ethereum and Ethereum classic. You are confusing this next split with bitcoin.
I believe you googled Ethereum and read an article about almost halfway down the page.
This is why unless it's about cooking or how to wear through a pair of sneakers while hitting them mean streets, I rarely acknowledge your posts.
The nerve you have is unprecedented. Imagine if someone was naive enough to listen to your bs with thier investing. That being said, wtf are you even in this thread?

That was the original fork as a result of the hack about a year ago (and then forked again I believe). If it happens yet again after the other cryptocurrencies found a way to avoid a hard fork, it'll collapse Ethereum even more. The people behind the various structures of Ethereum are a bunch of fuckwits (one of the reasons they had such a large collapse vs the other currencies), and is rife for potential scams.

Given it up Jackel, you are a fucktardm Go do your research, Ethereum had a hard fork after a large hack. It had one or two more since. There all sorts of shit about the issues with Ethereum Classic, and they are expecting another fork of the main Ethereum because they can't figure out how to fix issues with it because it is designed horribly. BitCoin some people were expecting to crash because they thought it was gonna have a hard fork and they recently announced they figured a way to solve the issues without that. Though now it semi-hostage to the main group of businesses that hold about 85% of the production and they may force a fork to benefit themselves while screwing over the normal investor.

3 hours of those fingers hitting the Google and that's all you have to explain yourself? Hey, it's only up 40 bucks since I posted this. We will see what happens. Funny how some people think its important to be knowledgeable and experts at everything... when in reality if you dedicate all of your time to mastering just a few you will be rich and successful compared to the other approach. Let's say for a minute that Jackel is an expert at 25% of the things he claims to be on this board. If he took the time it would take to master that many things and dedicated to one skill or trade... he would have a career that actually makes quite a bit of money.

If you're interested in a wicked risky long term play- pick up some PotCoin.
It's dead in the water right now and probably will stay that way for awhile. But there is a shot at a serious upside with federal legalization happening in Canada shortly, and no sign that the banks will be loosening their restrictions on weed companies any time soon- an alternative form of cash is going to be involved in this industry.
I don't think it stands much chance to take off and become the way every pot smoker purchases their weed.
But I do think there is a strong chance that more people on the production/growing side start using it for crop transactions with retail stores.
Ever since I found out that Bitcoin had made me a shitton of money, I started looking into this cryptocurrency stuff more intently. I see a lot of solid elements for people involved in cash intensive businesses to safely store some of their money. And if any of them explode like Bitcoin did, well, that's pretty cool too.

So with Ethereum, went from 215 to 264ish last evening. Then dropped back to 215 and is slowly rising again.
It was hanging around 300+ for a little while. Even hit almost 400. I bought at the low point with the hopes it will rise again.
We will see. I feel it's better then just tossing the money on black and letting it ride.

Ether back up to 260+. Interesting run here. Lot's of speculation as to why it dipped, but it's all speculation.
Looking at the Ethereum fb page...which is for "investors" lol, it's like a bunch of dummies that claim to have dumped life savings into this. Talking about cashing out and buying fancy cars.
I may be a noob with stocks but Jesus fucking Christ it's serious amateur hour over there. Ridiculous. I'd love to see a Trumplestilskin troll the ever living shit out of that page lol.

My big focus right now is how to play healthcare.
I'm in Phizer, Johnson&Johnson, and 2-3 smaller pharma/tech development companies, and this uncertainty in the reform/replace square dance is really difficult to get a bead on.

I'm in Phizer, Johnson&Johnson, and 2-3 smaller pharma/tech development companies, and this uncertainty in the reform/replace square dance is really difficult to get a bead on. If you're going in the direction of the healthcare stuff a pretty easy play would be to watch for the next big company to completely pull out of Obamacare. That always seems to result in a solid bump. Take a look at Aetna year timeline. You can see that right after they pulled out of Obamacare completely the price of the stock went up from about $114 a share to its current price of $152 a share. The creates a kind of unique situation because you don't have to figure out who the next company is going to be in order to make money. You just have to sit and wait for the next one to say that they're pulling out and jump on it as soon as you hear it. And then just hang on. Because we know Obamacare is bullshit what we also know is that when a company gets out of it they are going to start making money again & that will lead to a positive return.

This is a completely novice take, but I am actually surprised there hasn't been a little more turmoil in the market due to outlandish media crisis manufacturing. I do look for knee jerk sell offs for companies that are in the headlines.
Speaking of which, Target Corp. is down to $52-ish.
Does that represent the bottom for them? I'm in Minnesota so I don't trust my perspective from here. I do believe that they got beat up and do have enough appeal to trudge on. I'm interested in the development of micro-targets. I don't pretend to analyze the details that much though. Is the the bottom prelude to a renaissance or the beginning of the end for Target?

I'm obviously no expert but if you look at Trends in the market it doesn't look good for Target. Box stores are taking a beating across-the-board. Amazon is the elephant in the room now. Maybe micro Targets can help them fill a niche? I just think a stronger online presence is going to be necessary moving forward, and those who can't establish one will end up like K-Mart.

I'd get away from grocers and retailers in general, as the trend appears to be on-line buying.
Apple announced iPhone 8 release date, stock is unmoved? Surprising.

Ethereum jumped up to 307 this morning. Wasn't it at a dime a little while back? The volatility of these cryptocurrency things is a sure-fire roller coaster ride for people who are more on the day trading side of things. You'll give yourself some serious high blood pressure if you are watching those kinds of swings day in and day out. But man if you can cash out at the right time? It's huge. I read an article yesterday about this kid in high school who invested in Bitcoin back when he was in Middle School. That little bastard is worth a hundred million dollars today.
