He know them all by heart You seem to know a lot of the names of gay movies. quick question there my limp back homie, How exactly you know thats a gay movie? Could be about a fireman who takes up boxing or maybe about firemne that after they put out a fire they fist bump. I mean seriously why's everything gotta be so fucking dirty with you?

A Night to Remember (1950 -something). 9.5/ 10 Movie about the Titanic. Highly recommend. Straightforward, brilliant acting, script, sets, dialogueand effects. Iactually watched it 2 1/2 times, and it left me wanting more still, so I did Titanic (1998). 2.5/ 10 Absolutely awful. Effects looked more fake than the 1955 version. Crappy CGI everywhere. Hackneyed script, hackneyed acting, hackneyed directing. Unappealing female lead, needless stupidity added to every scene. Even if you winnowed down to the 1.5 hours of worthwhile Titanic story, that movie would have been mediocre Did you think Driving Miss Daisy was a story about Morgan Freeman driving an old white lady around? No but you probably thought it was a gay porn or perhaps at least a mandingo porn, Pervert

Deadpool 2. 9.5/10.
Great references to other marvel movies, marvel and DC comics and other movies throughout. He also has multiple movie scenes mimicking comics and other marvel movies but you have to be a marvel fan to notice. Irreverent like the first movie but a good story line and hilarious. Exactly what you should expect.

KONG: SKULL ISLAND Rated 9/10
Riotously entertaining popcorn-muncher with spectacular action sequences; just as much fun as the 1933 original probably was to audiences of that era. I was glad to see a gigantic spider attack, something that those 1933 depression- era viewers were denied. 'Way back then, footage was filmed depicting what happened to those unlucky sailors once toppled by Kong off that log into that deep gorge: they were devoured by a huge arachnid and several other monstrosities that defied description. But the sequence was shelved, not because it was TOO shocking to folks back then, but because director Merian Cooper thought it detracted from the overall continuity. The footage was considered "lost" for decades (doubts were raised about its very existence) until the early 2000's when it was rediscovered on old prints, and extensively covered in FilmFax magazine.
I understand this movie is a lead-up to another King Kong vs. Godzilla film. I can't wait, I saw the 1962 guys-in-rubber-suits version five times at age ten. It's odd to look at it now, and remember how cool I thought it was then.
Arghhh. Now I'm reading that Godzilla 2 is set for 2019 and the Kong vs. 'Zilla remake is planned for 2020. Goddamnit.

Captain Kidd
Charles Laughton was every bit as good as you all would certanly expect, and the movie had some good elements but... it’s as if the movie ran out of money or something halfway through. It started out looking to be as good as,The Sea Hawk.
3/ 10

BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Rated 8/10
I read the lame-ass DC Comics about Batman and Superman in the late 1950's. Even then I thought they were dumb. Bats was always fighting the Joker and his henchmen in factory settings where they'd swing over gigantic paint cans or other unlikely objects, and Supe was always foiling Lois Lame's -- er, LANE'S -- bitchy attempts to "prove" that he was really Clark Kent.
Yeah, like it was REALLY, REALLY hard to figure that out! Superguy wore no mask and was a dead-ringer for Kent, and nobody EVER saw him and the Kryptonian together, but NOBODY could make that connection!!! It made you wonder how any crimes EVER got solved in that stupid burg....or if anyone had an IQ over 80.
And I'm not even gonna mention just how dumb the Bat-Mite and Bizarro Superman characters were...oops I just did, sorry. God, how I hated that silly shit.
When Marvel began their 1960's ascension with the Fantastic Four, Hulk and Thor comics (the thunder god actually started in the Journey into Mystery comic) I was hooked.
But back to the movie review: I loved the Chris Nolan Batman films with Christian Bale, so I figured I'd take a look at the Ben Affleck version. I was impressed....was that really him in those "Batman's workout" scenes?
The story is rather simple but convoluted into a 2-1/2 hour film (too long IMO). Lex Luthor wants to weaponize Green Kryptonite (I expect Red Krytonite -- and the other hues as well -- to be introduced in upcoming films) for nefarious purposes. He forces Superman to battle Batman after kidnapping Martha Kent (Supe's adoptive mother). Batman had already acquired the Kryptonian mineral and used it to weaken his red- caped adversary, making a titanic struggle from what should have been a huge mismatch. Eventually they BOTH must fight alongside Wonder Woman (Yes, Gal Gadot is HOTTT) against an alien monstrosity also created by Luthor.
It all leads up to "Justice League" which many on here have already seen, of course. Bear with me, I'll catch up...
Ohhh, and PatSox was right: I was nice to see Batman actually KILL (and torture) some well-deserving pricks, finally. No more of this namby-pamby "no killing" crap.

Finally watched Black Panther. Supporting cast was amazing. A villain that coulda been great but they didn't want to touch that political button. But the thing that really hurt the movie for me... the fight scenes. Way too many cuts. A punch, a cut, a kick a cut, a leap a cut. I mean I'm not asking for a long cut, a single take, but a cut per action just ruins it.

Solo. 7/10.
Popcorn flick and the special effects are great, but the story was NOT great. Worth watching and I thought the kid did a pretty good job emulating the Han Solo character, but not a great job. They made Han a little wimpier and less confident and sarcastic. Thought they really could have bumped that up a notch. I walked out thinking bleh, and that's unfortunate for this franchise.

You're fat too generous for what you considered a "bleh" movie. A Quiet Place - 8.5/10 Better than the Marvel offerings I've seen this year. Krasinski is a capable director - I guess having a small cast makes it an easier project. Baby steps, I guess. The monster design is exquisite. I guess half of the budget probably went to the design/animation studio. I love the sense of dread in every scene even if it's sunny and tranquil, it keeps you on your toes.

I would like to reiterate that the film Black Panther was a bunch of hot garbage. I have no idea why anyone who actually likes comic book movies would have the audacity to even put that film in the top five, but many are putting it within the top two and I am so fucking tired of virtue signaling. Just because the movie starred a bunch of black people does not mean it is automatically good. And when you have to take liberties with the dialogue just to insert your political beliefs, you are completely fucking up the entire point of comic book movies.
I own the film, it's in my Amazon Library. And I will probably never watch it again.
Looking very forward to Infinity war and Deadpool 2. Also looking forward to Super Troopers 2 but it's probably not going to be nearly as good as the first one was.

I think that is because as time passes the parts that stick with me are the political bullshit parts. The rest of the film was not strong enough to resonate long. So all that remains is the identity politics. Garbage.

I am never going to post a 5/10 because their is zero chance I would give that kind of movie a shot. I always know ahead of time what I am getting myself into. And while a Quiet Place was pretty good, fuck no it was NOT better than Avengers Infinity War - gtfo.

Death Wish, the new one.
Meh... hard to rate this one. Kind of like a dumb hallmark movie with lots of gore. They could have made it really great, but really phoned it in, except the gore. LOL/ eyeroll inducing ridiculousness in scene after scene (example: our hero always getting shot in non vital areas that are so non vital that they don’t even inconvenience him), and Bruce Willis is truly a bad actor.
6.8/ 10. A good tribute to the old Bronson movies because he couldn’t act either

With all the shit I saw online about black people going to see the movie dressed up in african clothes and all the black pride behind it, I was expecting it to be a lot worse when it came to the racist, political talk.

Layer Cake - starring Daniel Craig as a drug dealer who is in with alot of different mob factions and tangled up in all sorts of shit. This was pretty damn good especially since i had never heard of it felt kind of like a Guy Ritchie movie i missed a little out of the middle ( was watching on tv so i missed part of while flipping channels on commercials)

The new mission impossible.
Entertaining as long as you go in letting a lot of shit slide and with the mindset that every super hero in every movie ever made and Jesus Christ himself are bums compared to Ethan Fucking Hunt.
Action packed as expected. It did dragged on from time to time, especially since everyone watching could figure out what was coming next.
Perfect action pop corn flick. Worth watching at the theatre with the big screen and the big sound which made the action scenes, chases and visual effects a lot more enjoyable than watching at home.
7/10

Just watched Infinity War, Super Troopers 2, and Ready Player One.
Infinity War was fantastic. Thanos is a bad dude. Straight NWO theory that he attempts to carry out. Will watch again before the weekend is over.
Super Troopers 2 was alright. A lot of funny stuff, but the funniest bits were all riffs on jokes from the first one. Good to kill 90 minutes, probably not worth a second watch.
Ready Player One was solid. Loved the nostalgia and old characters/props. Story was formulaic but this one is more about visuals that a story. Will rewatch with my kids in a couple of years.

The Hitman’s Bodyguard
Straight up cheeseville, but I suppose they weren’t trying to rival movies like the Departed. It’s a comedy and it has it’s moments. Reynolds and Jackson have good enough on screen chemistry to make this movie worth watching but definitely not one you will feel fhe need to watch again.

Watched the 4 seasons of Peaky Blinders. Took awhile to get me into it. Slow starting show. But once it got going, I have to say it is pretty damn good. Maybe top 5 show for me of all time.
You can tell they really started to put some more money behind the show come the 2nd and 3rd season. Some fun characters by actors like Hardy and Brody eventually make their way into the show. Good stuff.
I'd say 9/10 as a whole series thus far.

Avengers Infinity War. Well, by the poster you can tell that half the Marvel universe is in this one. I'm a casual fan. Just watching the big movies, but not knowing shit about the comics. For a casual like me, it's overwhelming the amount of characters to follow. But I can see how awesome that is for the hardcore fans. Points for the little self deprecating jokes here and there. Kind of little deadpool moments. You can figure it out by the poster.....but SPOILER alert below for those that never seen the poster: . . . . . . They went to fucking Wakanda! Lol. 7.8/10

Tusk - 7.5 of 10.
Jesus fucking christ . . . what was that? Kevin Smith directs Johnny Depp, Bill's dad (Kill Bill vol. 2), and Derry from Jeepers Creepers in this incredibly unusual flick with dismemberment, shock jocks, and severe psychopathy.

Mission Impossible whatever - 8.5 of 10.
Agree with the above review. It's as formulaic as they come . . . but it works. Tom Cruise running through European cityscapes at a dead sprint, jumping out of windows, crashing helicopters, snipping the red wire with 00:01 left . . . you know what this is, and it does it's damn job. Get a Mr. Pibb and some peanut M&M's and watch Tom drive 90mph down the wrong lane in Paris for 90 min.

Extinction. Netflix original movie.
Not all that, but worth watching. There is a cool twist.; best part of the movie. But can't explain it without spoiling it.
