Man they need to move some of those fight pass bouts to FS1 - that's bullshit to have Rashad, Benavidez, Pettis, Guida and Olivera all on Fight Pass.
fuck them.

I kind of don't want to buy it just because CM Punk is on the main card. I know they think he is a big draw, But not for me. I had no idea who he was until he came to the UFC.
But yes, The card looks very good besides the punk fight.

Card is stacked, to bitch about one fight out of all of them? You clearly have no idea how to promote. I get Punk does not deserve it but if you call yourself an MMA fan, how can you not be excited about the rest of them? To much Haterade Loco. It's OK to swing from Bellator's tiny nut sack and appreciate a well put card. Scott Coker will be watching!
Bobby Knuckles started off at -150 and now -250 in some places.
Dos Banjos vs Colby should be a good one, glad it's 5 rounds.
I think Megan has a good chance at beating Holly. Worth throwing a few on her.
226 is also a good card!

Did he really bring over alot of views? I just don't see it. But in my little world, no one I know watches WWE so we had no idea who he is. The casuals that didn't know who he was, watched as he got beat by someone else they never heard of before. So they won't be buying this PPV to see him. He is old, he won't be around much longer. Trying to sell the PPV to the WWE watchers. I just don't see it. But again, I have no idea how big he was in the WWE. I have no problem with who he is fighting. I just think with his skill set, he should be the 1st or 2nd fight on the card. Not the main card. Its very disrespectful to all the big talent that they put him infront of.

I’m sure they purposely put those guys on fight pass in order to get more subscriptions. Even if it’s only the one week trial, a lot of times people forget to cancel. Shit I might go ahead and sign up now while I’m in Thailand so I can see some good fights.
As far as CM spunk goes... hopefully he’s bringing in lots of views, that motherfucker got paid $500k to get his ass whooped by Gall.

I remember a 1-0 Brock Lesnar co-headlining a PPV. Mir submitted him in the first and then what happened? They brought Brock back to co-headline another card and 1-1 Brock put a beating on Heath Herring.
The UFC will take a shot at bringing in viewers any way they can. I had no idea who CM Punk was before hearing about him coming to MMA, but a lot of fake wrestling fans probably know him and want to see him fight. He has 2.78 MILLION twitter followers. Robbie Lawler, a future hall of famer, has 244,000. Do the math.

It's still a great card.

Great card. Anyone bitching about one fight out of a 13-fight card clearly just has an agenda.
That said, I'm more interested in the top three fights on fight pass than the bottom three fights on the main card. I guarantee that's the first time I've ever said that. Usually I'm hard pressed to know more than one fighter on the fight pass portion of an event.

There is ads on youtube promoting UFC 225. Its all CM Punk. Nothing about any other fighter. Punk is irrelevant in MMA. Overall, yes its a very good card. If I don't buy it, It will be in protest of them forcing Punk on us. We don't need the UFC telling us what fights we want to see.

He probably is more popular then I'm giving him credit for. But to me, he's just a guy starting out in MMA. He's nothing special. I have nothing against the guy (I know it seems like I do). He's probably a real nice guy. But I have no real interest in watching him fight. I know some will say I know nothing about promoting. And No I don't. I'm not a promoter, I'm a customer. Who knows, Maybe he'll have a entertaining fight.

Wow. Lots of former big names in the early prelims. Yup, But they do have future big names on the main card. Just check out Mike Jackson. The UFC doesn't have enough talent in WW, so they are introducing the future stars in that division.

LMAO, I guess the UFC is doing something right. They have us talking about a card. Sure all the talk is about someone that "I" think is irrelevant. We aren't talking about the many great fights on the card. My dumbass is only talking about that one fight.
They got us talking.. So I guess that is good.

Whitaker is the real deal! Soldier of God is going to be KIA...
Can't wait for Dos Banjos/Colby!
Those two fights alone are worth the PPV IMO...
At least Punk isn't headlining. I bet no none could remember the name of the fighters that opened up the 224 PPV. So, that goes to show you they are doing something right.
Even if you don't buy it. Stream it... It's worth it!

Daywork, trust me, I'm as surprised as anyone that adult humans follow fake wrestling. But they do and it's HUGE. And, as I understand it, it's a fan base that is used to buying PPVs.
To CM Punk's credit, the only thing I've seen him say leading up to this fight is that if it were up to him he'd be on the fightpass under card. But it's not up to him.
