What a turd. Once rockhold smokes him, they should feed him to Bisping as an easy retirement win.

He did take the fight on 4 weeks notice, so he gets a pass from me. I hope he wins, fight shouldn't have been an Interim fight anyways.

Considering neither fighter will weigh 185 at the time of the fight, I don’t know why it even matters.

Olympic/world champion wrestler missing weight.
My take?
Deliberate attempt to deny Luke an interim belt if he loses yet would still get a title shot against Whittaker if he wins.

I don't know how you think Bisping can beat Yoel unless Yoel gasses and losses a decision, which is possible, but otherwise, Romero is better everywhere IMO. Far better wrestler, more power, and while technically he might be less sound on the feet, overall I give him the striking advantage. I also think Bisping loses a rematch to Rockhold and I think Bisping would also lose to both Jacare and Weidman and that GSP easily beats him and so would Whittaker. I still don't think Bisping is that good (by comparison to the other top MWs) and his loss to Gastelum showed it. Also, I totally forgot what happened, but why did Bisping retire and how did the belt not end up going to Gastellum??

Is anyone buying this event? I just don't see it as a $50 event.

I can see you thinking weight cutting is bad because it is and it risks lives, but saying weight classes are a joke? Surely you must be kidding right? So you think we should have HWs in there with LWs? I don't think you really think that's fair or a good idea. And then you'd have to think weight classes in boxing and wrestling were stupid also which is crazy. They just need to do hydration tests and not allow people to come in significantly under their walking weights.

Fighters should weight in and fight at their walk around weight, not at what weight they can get to by dehydrating for 24 hours. No, I don't think LW should be fighting HWs.

If it was that easy, it would already be done. How do you regulate “walking weight”? Same day weigh ins would be best choice in my opinion, or just let adults be adults, and kill themselves by dehydration if they are that desperate to get an advantage?

Same day weigh-ins would be fine with me.

One FC is has been doing this for a while now and it works. I think they way them a week out, then the day of, but I'm not sure. That's how you know it's their walking weight because they wouldn't been sweating anything out 7 days prior. And I don't think the idea of letting them kill themselves cutting is a good idea, cause it's gonna happen sooner or later, I mean Urijah Hall said his kidney almost failed and he was close to death. People have already died in other combat sports from weight cutting and it's getting very close to happening in the UFC. It's really just a matter of time and Dana will be forced to react when it does. I think sooner or later after a death or two Dana will get rid of the weight cutting. It's going to happen and it's going to be very bad publicity.
