It cracks me up Daywork.
On the one side you work to improve efficiency to reduce energy expenses and electricity use.
Then on the other, you mine crypto, which is one of the biggest consumers of electricity in the world.
I bet there's a way to merge those two things and create even more money for you. Making crypto mining more energy efficient is definitely a niche market. Might be worth exploring.

I bought my IT guy the stuff he needed for a mining rig and he keeps everything at his house and pays the elec bill

Wonder how long before your IT guy figures it out.

22 counties in West Virginia started a teacher strike effective today. The rest are scheduled to start on Monday or Tuesday. Our local schools just came out and said they are in need of cutting 25% of spending to stay open. They have never had higher tax revenue to fund the schools, and child admission is high. What this means is the amount of overhead and wasteful spending on benefits and other compensations is bankrupting the school system... but their answer is instead to cut the quality of school rather than spend less on their own compensation. We applied for private school 2 weeks ago, and are now 100% going to get our kids out of public education. Pathetic that yet another government program is a complete failure in spite of adequate funding.
