Stipe is just more well rounded than Ngannou and Ngannou swings too wild and uses up his power.

I know it's HW, but dude can barely walk back to his corner. Shit conditioning. Should get ugly from here.

Sounds like Ngannou fell in love with his power and relies on it to much.

To make a statement, Stipe needs to finish him with strikes, standing right now. Gnp is nice, but hit the bullseye And KO him standing.

Ngannou just needs a ground game.
I mean he's only been training for 5 years.
They said he was freakin working in a sandpit in Cameroon 5 years ago.
Pretty crazy to even be fighting for a UFC title when he'd never trained 5 years ago, whereas Stipe's a D-1 champ and Golden Gloves champ.

I don't think Stipe can knock Ngannou out but he can sub him if he makes a mistake.
Ngannou seriously needs a good BJJ coach and a good wrestling coach.

Lighter weights, you would have no chance with only 5 years experience.

Stipe kind of sucking here, too You’re a fucking moron. Dude, dont get me wrong, he's dominating. ...but he's just controlling. He's not trying to finish. Francis is spent and Stipe is leaning on him I know you are used to fights like Chael and Rampage, but I like a little more excitement

I was reading the sherdog play by play. Sounds like Ngannou was almost finished a few times.

Well Ngannou just doesn't have a good enough ground game or enough wrestling to stop a D-1 champ like Stipe.
But consider the guy has only been TRAINING for 5 years...not just fighting but TRAINING.
That's ridiculous to fight a D-1 champ and Golden Gloves champ after that kind of time, and Ngannou was able to take those shots for 5 rounds and not get stopped.
He's still going to be very difficult to actually finish, and he's got time to improve.
He just really needs to work on his grappling.

Well, I should say Chael had a good 1st round. Rampage didn't do shit.

I was reading the sherdog play by play. Sounds like Ngannou was almost finished a few times. I don't think so at all. He was hurt but he never looked close to out. Stipe also had a lot of opportunities to go for subs he didn't use. With Ngannou being that tired he should have gone for guillotines or a rear naked but he played it safe.

Not out cold, but just not protecting himself. Its sherdog, so... you know.

Don't blame Stipe for taking position over submission. He was rocked early and Francis showed no answer for it so why risk it?
