Anybody here play music at all?
I wouldn't say I play music, but I've played guitar since I was 13 off and on. I haven't played with anyone since I was in high school but I have always kept an acoustic guitar and play it occasionally. I usually go through spurts where I'll play every spare moment I have and then don't touch it for weeks or months.

I own an acoustic guitar and once played it enough to sort of play a little, normally picking melodies. However, I never really 'felt' the music, I could just mechanically read the music and play the notes. This is excuse territory, but I always thought that since I could read music, I always had trouble with guitar tabs. I shocked my fam by playing the piano just a tiny bit, on the piano we just got. I also a have the trumpet I played in grade school. In the case of the trumpet, I was OK for an 8th grader.
I've always wondered what it would be like to naturally hear and understand music though. I supposed I could mitigate my shortcomings with practice and education about music, but I also lacked that enthusiasm for putting in the work. I had a roommate around the time I got the guitar who also decided to get a guitar for the first time. Within days she could play songs that she heard by just working through the sounds.

Did you bang her?

That's cool. Did you bang her? Negative Ghostrider, the pattern was full. Then what was the point of bringing her up?

Negative Ghostrider, the pattern was full. Then what was the point of bringing her up? I was hoping to perplex you. I do still have her number though, if you need it, I'll PM it.

I think Peak already made a thread for this, but yeah I play everyday. Love it, it's my escape, like running for some people.
