I'm hoping Miller, Maia and Machida win.
The fighters with last names starting with Ms and three of my favorites.

That was a blitzkrieg attack by Santos to finish that fight in the last 10 seconds of the round.

Tough fight for Jim.
He's also getting over lyme's disease which probably took even more out of him, but Trinaldo is a beast either way.

Good night of fights.
Brooks got robbed in the 2nd fight? Wasn't paying too much attention to it but I swear he was slamming that other guy around quite a bit.
Vera and Dias looked like garbage.
Santos looked great.
Miller...eh. I think it's about time to hang em up. He's had a great run but he just hasn't looked too hot lately.
Looking forward to the next 2 fights.

Yeah, Jim should probably hang em up. Good career, nothing to be ashamed about and he went a far away considering his physical disadvantages. Proof that hard work is just as important as talent.
Nice co and main coming up

Nice co and main coming up What physical disadvantages? LOL Not the strongest or the quickest, but not the slowest or the weakest by a long shot, so I wouldn't refer to him as having many physical disadvantages. That one arm guillotine was sick in the last fight though.

I don't think I even remember ever seeing Colby Covington fight.
What did he do to earn a fight with someone as high ranked as Maia?

He is pure grit and determination, nothing to hang your head about!

I just wouldn't refer to them as really big physical disadvantages, but more that he lacks some advantages others have. I'm sure the guy is pretty happy with his accomplishments whether or not he chooses to hang up the gloves.

Still an awesome competitor though, I'm sure he's PLENTY proud!

I feel like the ufc gave Maia this guy as punishment for those last couple snoozers.

Kept him going when his talent ran out.

Damn, that was a downright demoralizing loss for Maia.
I guess Covington is someone to pay attention to.
He really had a solid gameplan, but once it got to the 3rd I don't understand why Maia didn't just straight up try to get any kind of clinch and just pull guard.
I mean it was clear he wasn't getting the TD but he probably could have just gotten a basic over/under clinch and pulled guard.
It wouldn't normally be a good move, but that was the only chance he had to get it to the ground.

That is how you call someone out.
And start a riot.
Good for Colby. I'm a fan.

Hahahah fuck ya to whoever this Colby guy is. What did he do? Well first of all, he beat the fuck out of Maia, and second of all, he went straight savage in his interview. “Brazil, you’re a dump, all you filthy animals suck” them calls out Tyrone woodLEY LOL

He's lucky he was being escorted out because Sao Paolo is a dangerous enough place without insulting the people who live there. I bet if he wasn't escorted out someone would jump him. I hope Woodley kicks his ass.

Other than back when Marquardt slept him, I don't think I've ever seen someone beat the brakes off Maia like that.

Eh, I don't think there's shame in pulling guard if you can get the win by doing it.
