Wouldnt surprise me if Conor is at MSG for the GSP fight and if GSP wins he'll storm the ring and cut him down on the mic. Thats what I think theyre waiting on as their next fight. Thats the money fight right there for GSP, Conor and the UFC.

At what weight? 170 is the only class that makes sense. Conor couldn't keep weight on to fight at 170 for Diaz, no way he tries MW. 155 could have been doable because GSP said he could make 155 before this comeback fight but he probably has packed in some weight for his fight with Bisping.
It doesn't matter because A) Bisping will more than likely win and (B) GSP would embarrass Conor at any weight he can make.

It would have to be at 170.
The money involved in a gsp/conor fight is one of maybe...3 (?)..big money fights the ufc has. I feel no matter the outcome of Bisping vs gsp that tbis fight happens.
The only way I don't see it happening is if GSP takes such a beating he decides to retire.
Imo, one of the reasons gsp even came back was to try to get a conor fight. He can then call home and tell his man to put on the red briefs.

Not a bad fight, but why not fight Conor instead of Bisping. If he loses to Bisping, the Conor fight is worth much less money. I think that a Conor fight now would be worth more than a Conor fight and Bisping fight put optogether if he loses to Bisping. For some reason I think GSP loses to Bisping. Ill ave to see their reach and sprawl dimensions before I call it

If Conor is waiting for GSP to win, and GSP does win, and Conor does get a title shot-
That will have to be a record for the most unearned title shots in the history of Combat Sports.
And I think GSP is a really bad match for McGregor. Is there any doubt that GSP can take him down at will? If there is any doubt, then maybe that fight could be interesting. I guess we'll have to see how GSP does against Bisping. But if it's a takedown Fest, Conor might be smart to just stay in his seat.

GSP and Bisping, that is. Unless something has really changed, Gsp finishes Conor by TKO or sub in the second round. Nate Diaz really isn't all that shit-hot. He's good, and hard to finish, but rarely has been a legit contender (he and Nick would do better PRIDE format IMO). I do think that GSP would absolutely demoralize Conor.

Most of us thought the same thing when he fought Eddie.

Most of us thought the same thing when he fought Eddie. Not me, because of Eddie’s reach disadvantage. The only guy Conor has fought who has any reach is Nate Diaz, who Conor is 1-1 against, and who himself has fought at LW. GSP has never made LW. If Conor beat GSP it would be similar to Serra: a fluke. Unless GSP is completely washed up he beats him 97/ 100, just like he would Serra

No way. Conor reaches out and touches him, GSP going to be hoping those knees don't fail him. If he is still standing.
I will admit I'm usually wrong about Conor's fights. And I will be very interested to see how GSP looks in a couple weeks.

Speed kills and he’s faster than Alves, but I dare say his arms are shorter and will also be completely impotent after GSP leans on him for a round. 8 would not be surprised t9 see GSP flatten connor in round one by simply scoring a takedown and smashing him with elbows.

Lol @ comparing conor to flat footed Alves. I understand what you’re saying but IMO Conor is not more formidable than Alves at 170. Not comparing styles, just overall potency. Conor is, I believe, .500 at 170 and Alves is above .500

Well the guy has only had 2 fights against the same guy at the weight. So there is always that
But we will see what happens.

I know Nate fought Rory and he got ragdolled in that fight.
But I don't know that Alves would beat Nate at this point in their careers. Last few years for that matter. Anytime before that, sure, I'd lean towards Alves. I also don't think Alves is a good example of what you are trying to get across. Alves is not a big WW and I'm not so sure there is that much difference in reach between him and Eddie. Didn't Alves drop to 155 for a match or 2?
Once again, I'll be interested in seeing how GSP looks. If he looks gun shy or shakey I will have to doubt his chances against Conor. If he looks on fucking point with laser accuracy in his movement and quickly closing the distance with takedowns? Conor is proper fooked.

Unless GSP has lost a step he has around a 90% chance of stopping Conor before round 3, the other 10% being Conor KOing him in a minute or less

I’m curious with the trouble he had keeping Mendes off of him how he plans to keep the king man humper off of him at a much larger weight?

Looked at the odds. GSP is favored (-125) to Bisping. I was kind of shocked about that.
Conor has no chance against GSP. He doesn't have much of a ground game to speak of. He will be put on his back within 30 seconds of each round and he wouldn't make it back to his feel. Hell, GSP would probably get a finish in that fight. GNP to a exhausted Conor in round 2.

Wow, GSP IS FAVORED? I may have to throw some money on The Count. I really want GSP to win and have faith in him but Bisping is a big guy with good wrestling. Chael struggled with Bisping and I know Chael repeatedly says GSP roughed him up but it is hard to believe GSP could do it for 5 rounds with the added weight and a bigger guy. If he had one tune up fight so we could judge him, I would have more faith but therre are too many unanswered questions.

GSP could roll out of bed after a 3 day coke bender and embarrass Conor every day of the week and twice on Sunday. There is no way Conor can win. GSP is bigger, stronger, and unless he completely fucked up, has cardio for days, even if he has lost some it is still more than Conor. GSP would be the biggest, fastest, and most athletic person Conor ever fought. Conor won't have a reach advantage either which will hurt his counter-striking. I also think GSP could take some of Conor's shots without going limp. He ate shots from Condit, Nick, and Hendricks without going out. Not to mention the wrestling. Conor is not stopping GSP's shot either. If this fight somehow happened, I would put several grand on GSP.
