Various media reports out of France and a few places are saying Prince Phillip died. There will be no confirmation though until about 8am UK time. The most consistently full of shit person on the planet strikes again. Dude I was just reporting what they were.

Latest French election odds: Emmanuel Macron is currently predicted to win the second round of the elections with Betfair odds of 1/8 or an 89 per cent chance, according to Betfair. Marine Le Pen's odds are currently stading at 8/1 or an 11 per cent chance of winning. Almost the same odds as Hillary/Trump. And roughly the same odds a Brexit.

Almost the same odds as Hillary/Trump. And roughly the same odds a Brexit. Would be hilarious if Le Pen wins by a huge margin and France establishes the Holy Roman Empire. Reconquista 2.0 Germany & Belgium.

So things are getting interesting in the French election.
Looks like Macron was working with various militant groups along with a Lebanese arms dealer suspected of arming ISIS. On top of which, with all this email leaking out, France is doing nation-wide blocking of various websites showing the various emails and leaks (including hidden money, tax evasion, etc...).

I almost forgot the voting is today.
Turnout in the French presidential election is so far sharply down on the past two polls as voters choose between Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen.
A turnout of 65.3% was recorded at 17:00 local time (15:00 GMT) in an unpredictable campaign that has divided the country.
The bitterly fought poll was concluding on Sunday amid massive security.
The final polling stations close at 20:00 (18:00 GMT), with the result set to be reported immediately afterwards.
The vote is being closely watched across Europe, as the results could heavily affect the future of the European Union.
The participation rate reported by the interior ministry for this election at 17:00 was more than six points lower than the 72% recorded at the same time in 2012 and nearly 10 points down on the 75.1% of 2007.
In fact, it is lower than all the elections back to 1981.
Analysts have said that there could be a high abstention rate, which may damage Mr Macron's chances.
The two candidates have offered voters starkly different visions of France.
Mr Macron, a liberal centrist, is pro-business and a strong supporter of the European Union, while Ms Le Pen campaigned on a France-first, anti-immigration programme.
She wants France to abandon the euro in the domestic economy, and hold a referendum on France's EU membership.

French media refuses to cover Le Pen's speeches
Libération newspaper says it is boycotting the electoral events of Marine Le Pen this evening - whether she wins or loses - in solidarity with other French and foreign media outlets who have been refused access to them.
The left-wing daily says it will not carry any coverage of the events, during which Ms Le Pen is due to make a speech after the election results are announced, because the Front National has refused access to the gathering in a park in the east of Paris tonight to about a dozen media organisations.
"These anti-democratic measures, which are also contrary to the right to keep the public informed, must stop, as must the intimidation of journalists in (Le Pen) political rallies," wrote senior Libération editor Johan Hufnagel.

Cops are completely out of control, vol. 274: Off duty cop driving 123 mph gets pulled over by highway patrol, gets arrested, and then the entire department spends the next two years threatening, harassing, vandalizing, doing plate and residence searches, and otherwise terrorizing the highway patrol officer who arrested the cop. Link and excerpts: www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-watch/wp/2014/02/18/a-plague-of-professional-courtesy/?tid=ss_sms-amp&utm_term=.a6ea87a28189"She has received hundreds of calls to her private phone, some pranks, some threatening. She has had pizzas randomly delivered to her home. Strange cars began parking outside her home. And her career as a police officer may well be over. The Miami New Times reported in 2012 that her “superiors don’t think she’ll ever be able to return to duty on the road, and if she ever got into a situation where she needed backup she does not think she would receive it.” “over a three-month period, at least 88 law enforcement officers from 25 different agencies accessed Watts’ driver’s license information more than 200 times.” " . . . records found 800 instances in which cops in southern Florida were caught driving between 90 and 130 mph. Many weren’t on duty, but coming or going to their jobs. A broader 13-month investigation found 5,100 “high-speed” incidents, 96 percent of which were cops driving in excess of 90 mph. About half were cops outside their jurisdictions, meaning it’s unlikely they were responding to an emergency call. The investigation found 21 incidents in which citizens were left dead or severely disabled after being struck by speeding cops, sometimes driving 120 mph or more. The most severe punishment from any of those cases was 60 days in jail. The Sun-Sentinel also found that in 88 percent of cases in which a police officer’s speeding caused an accident, the officer wasn’t even issued a citation. Looks like Macron is going to win easy. Oh well, that sucks.. So you are pissed the liberal candidate won over the genocidal radical-left wing candidate? Well if it cheers you up, with the social media/news ban being lifted, and legislative elections aren't for another week or so, they'll be learning of all the leaks and it likely to make Le Pen's party win a bunch of those elections effectively hamstringing Macron.

Genocidal? How is that? I didn't read anything about her wanting to kill people. Sure she wants to stop immigration and leave the EU.
I know I'm politically dumb. But isn't liberal = left wing?
Edit.. One more thing. This may be a dumb question but. So its not final that Macron won? If its not final, why did Le Pen concession speech? And how do they get the results so damn fast? 2 minutes after the voting ended they had results.

They are much smaller and more organized than the US, it easier to get results done. The equivalent of their congress, the elections are done like a week after their presidential election, so we don't know yet who's party will be holding that power. Anyways, her party, NF (National Front) basically started as the French version of the actual Nazi party. All that BS media spouts about Trump, take that stuff and multiply it and you have reality for the Le Pens.

Says those guys will ticket anybody. We proceed to easily do about 95 all the way up to Charlotte. Coming home, he drove the whole way and we went even faster. He was freshly divorced and banging the office secretary so he was in a big hurry to get home.

There's just a fundamental moral problem with special groups with magic powers to drive 120 mph in a 65 zone, opt out of mandatory healthcare, engage in insider trading, travel to Cuba when everyone else has an embargo, bang out top secret emails on a goddamned blackberry, just live utterly above the law, above the rules of society, there's simply zero excuse for that, for anyone, ever and it's antithetical to the very fabric of our national philosophy. This isn't a feudal hierarchy with a ruling class at the top and peasants at the bottom. America is supposed to be fundamentally different. The government, for the first time in human history, works FOR us rather than lording over us. Does anyone feel that this is still the case? Just short of wanton rape and murder, people in government act with virtual impunity and if I so much as buy the wrong wattage light bulb, fail to offer up 35% of my wages in a timely fashion, or smoke a bowl in the garage, it's Waco style assault team on my front lawn. And then these same militaristic fuck-thugs want to celebrate people who sneak in illegally. I'm just . . . baffled. Jesus. I don't WANT to go full Alex Jones here, but there's a distinct vibe of "fuck western culture, fuck the white man, stifle him, and lift up his enemies, whoever they may be" going around. Or did you really believe the immigration fight was about immigration? Immigration from Germany, Poland, Canada, Ireland, is that the issue? Western culture is the issue, and the destruction thereof. Sanctuary cities? Yeah, it's called blue states. But I better bake the fucking cake, right?
