I might be the lest technologically advanced 36 year old person in the US. I just switched from a flip phone, I don't have any social media accounts, and I have never downloaded a song in my life.
Long story, short... I am going to Mexico this summer for a week of sitting at a house with a big pool on a private beach and am planning on parking my ass in a lounge chair and drinking beer and pina coladas until I get diabetes or liver failure. That being said I want to have a bunch of good songs on hand because there are not many options down there. I have an Iphone... what is the best way or site to get songs from, and do I just download them to my phone?

Use a clip converter site and youtube links. It'll rip the MP3 for you.
Or, get 4k Video Downloader. Make a playlist with youtube quickly, copy link for first video into the program and it'll rip the whole playlist for you.

Buy your music. Don't be a thief. Someone worked hard to make that music. You make more than enough. May I suggest Amazon music. For $100 a year you can stream thousands upon thousands of songs, Amazon Prime(also benefit from 2 day shipping if you shop Amazon frequently). And/Or you can buy individual songs or albums. Music is yours forever and can stream on multiple devices

If you have an iPhone, just get iTunes. Amazon Prime also gives you access to their entire library of older songs, with the option to buy new stuff. I used to download from free download sites, but now those songs will not play on my phone. It's worth the dollar a song to not have to deal with that hassle. Just remember to set your downloads to only happen over wi-fi or you'll chew through most of your monthly data downloading lots of songs.

Spotify or one of it's ilk is the quickest and easiest suggestion for someone not really into tech. You can even get the month free if you are only interested in having music for the trip. The membership will allow you to download anything from their library so you don't have to worry about having a signal or wifi to stream it.

Agree with duval. I do spotify premium which is pretty cheap, and I get everything I want. Downloaded like 400 tracks and put it all in a playlist and just let it play on shuffle, when I'm at work. The spotify app for phones and tablets is really nice. Just remember to send everything your sd card, if you downlaod them. Takes up a lot of space on your device, otherwise
Also recommend installing an equalizer and volume booster app. Whether it's something like spotify or a media player, you don't get much in the way of volume or sound settings

I'm not much a music man, but Amazon Prime seems to work. We use it quite a bit and you can download what you want to your phone to play offline, or just stream whatever you want-and-can-find on Prime.

There is no better music than Chris Ledoux, George Strait, Garth Brooks, and many others. If you have a son, go listen to Conway's Twitty's "that's my job" and tell me that is not one of the greatest songs ever recorded.

too funny.
I am in Texas and I even hate country music.
That said, I have lots of friends, including my wife (not when I am with her) that listen to country.
At least norcalkyle listens to the better country music.

What are your thoughts on this new pop-country direction it is going? Personally, while I pretty much listen to any style, my faves are Blues and Southern Gothic probably.

Just because you listen to nigger music and pretend you are cool doesn't mean you are I have no idea what you music you are referring to, but I am pretty sure I don't listen to it. You, on the other hand, do definitely listen to fag music. Nothing wrong with that, other then admitting you are a fag. Spencer, you gotta live one!
