www.yahoo.com/news/monroe-mom-accused-letting-10-150652296.htmlSo this fat chick let's her 10 year old son drive...which let's face it...how many of us were allowed to do this at a young age? Only problem is, she was dumb enough to stream the shit on facebook. The kid is apparently a pretty damn good motocross driver. While the video will state that doesn't mean shit, and from a legal standpoint it doesn't, but obviously the kid is going to have bit better understanding on driving then most would. Thoughts?

Did he injure someone, damage property, or endanger lives?

Nope. But the way people are reacting, you would think he ran through a group of people.

The shit that coulda happen. I'm sure most of us here were driving well before we were allowed, but not through normal neighborhoods like that.
I got to back the car out of the driveway a few times, or got to do donuts in the parking lot after closing in my Dad's spitfire. But even with the more laid back attitude of the 90s and early 00s, I don't know of anyone who would have let their kids do what she did outside a farm.

I was driving at that age. Through neighborhoods out in Riverside in the late 80s.
My nephew can already ride a 90 quad and I've let him drive my rhino. He's 9.

I started driving around our small town at age 11. I could back a 48 foot trailer in to a parking spot at age 13. Just another advantage of small time America.
Quick story.... Age 13 my great grandfather sent me to the store to get him and his wife a few things. Naturally I had to do a couple extra laps around town. When I walked back in to his house to deliver the goods he was on the phone bitching at some woman to "mind her own god damn business and he sent me to the store." He was a great man.
