Worth it's own thread.
I've looked at some of it. It's a MarkShark treasure trove. Thoughts?

Seriously nothing? The biggest intelligence dump in the history of this country. Using the private sector to aid with espionage (JamesOD's TV can spy on him. Mine can too. But let's talk about James' tv spying on him. The Feds know you're not black, bro.)
The hacking of onboard vehicle computers to cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle- the first documented case of which was a couple years ago- the guys who did it were never really heard about again. Now we know why. They sold their shit to the CIA.
Has no one read about this shit yet? Or do you guys just not give a fuck at the massive implications this has and the damage it can (and should) do to the notion that Big Government is a solution. Because it seems to me that it is actually more of a problem than a solution.

Thank goodness I have VIZIO. I read the tip of the iceberg on this story last night. I think that some people, even the cream of the crap like us, are getting desensitized to it. The vehicle control portions are concerning. It is like you mentioned though, I feel like we have heard some of these rumbles for a while at least on vehicles and TV. Is it apathy? Maybe.
On top of the literal implications, I wonder how much money and time resources are applied for to monitor the unimaginable amount of data that could be collected. Maybe everyone is digging deep on Vault 7 and still formulating responses.

I've been out of town and/or dead for several days. Heard of a massive intel-based wikileak, but know zero specifics yet.

As shocking as the revelations within the Wikileaks dump are, what is even more shocking is that Angelo still hasn't said anything about it.
Glad you guys are reading about it and getting informed. I will be interested to hear what you guys have to say after you've done a little reading on the topic. Because this seems like it's a pretty big deal.

This shit is old news, literally. All this is a confirmation of the details of a few things. There were leaks on the cyber structure, the backdoor payments, even the smart TV (and refrigerators! and other smart devices) recording shit before. I think it was two years ago they had the leak about the NSA/CIA capturing motherboard shipments mid-route to add everything from snoopers to GPS additions to them before they arrived at homes/businesses for assembly.

So really two stories here, and not sure which is bigger.
The CIA doing what we've known the NSA's been doing for years . . . openly, warrantlessly spying on citizens through a variety of devices. But perhaps the bigger issue, the CIA is an aging, hacker friendly, leak friendly, dinosaur of an agency who can't keep it's shit together enough to protect and control the intel, methods, and technology of it's operations.

I am okay with the CIA being shady, lying, backroom dealing assholes... as long as they are protecting the safety of our citizens and have our best interests in mind. I am not sure anyone can ever guarantee that to be the case, so at this point I am glad they are being publicly outed.
Sadly I don't see this going anywhere though. The general public doesn't know or care about this type of thing, and would rather hear about how the dress Ivanka wore was worth $4k.

Wikileaks track record of accuracy is extremely high. I would assume this is legit. Would also assume that a government and/or agency who can spy on everyone, get dirt on anyone, compromise media figures and politicians, blackmail decision makers, and violate the 4th amendment with absolute impunity is not a good thing. Assuming they have our best interests at heart while they operate totally outside the constitution is unwise.

I just don't understand this deep state scenario playing out the way it supposedly has. The CIA hacked the DNC (or phished, whatever the fuck), they left a fake Russian signature, released the emails to hurt Hillary's chances, only to use it to try and delegitimize President Trump? Thay sounds wholly fucking dumb.
People trying to pretend those in charge of national security don't trust Trump because they are worried he will blow the top off their conspiracy... Again, retarded.

I agree it sounds like bullshit but I think their idea behind it is that the CIA/NSA is being used as a tool by the elite to try and control the country for them. They figure it is easier to manipulate and deal with Trump than Hillary?

Problem with your theory is there are a lot of people a whole lot fucking smarter than you that understand this is lunacy.
I personally know someone pretty high up in the DIA that thinks Trump is dangerous and he is friends with a 4 star general that retired because of the distrust in our Commander in Chief. These people have more patriotism in their left nut than all of you fuckers, have no reason to be part of a greater conspiracy, and think this theory is nucking futs bit yeah, it takes a moron not to buy it.
It could be true, I don't dismiss it outright. Howevet, there is no definitive proof so you have to pick a side, not the president or the CIA but logic or nonsense. Nonsense could be right but most of the time it is jist that, nonsense. This particular theory does not pass the smell test.
I know there has been people colluding against Trump. We know Clinton tried to get him elected as the Republican nominee along with media assistance and it backfired. We know there are Obama hold-overs that are making it hard for Trump. I fully believe Trump was wire-tapped and people give Obama a pass cuz he is a hip black dude, there is plenty of evidence of warrantless wire taps under the Obama administration. I also think the whole Trump is a Russian mole or has ties to Russia to be nucking futs as well.
I am specifically addressing one deep state theory that just doesn't make fucking sense. If you have dirt on Hillary, use it on her, don't use it to help get a wildcard elected so you can work against him. Get someone in there that will work with or for you under threat of disseminating the damming information.

I get the impression that nobody is offering any substantial evidence or reasoning behind this move, only rhetoric that Trump is the savior and every body is out to get him.
I am not a checkers guy, I am a guy that doesn't make unsubstantiated claims and while I will never dismiss the possibility of anything, I will call things absurd when they are, well absurd (or at least absurd sounding). Just like I think the notion of God us absurd, I don't dismiss it.
I am also much better at chess than I am at checkers.

Good. Then this should help clarify a few things for you, if you use some of the critical thinking that goes into a solid game of chess.
Look into the Deep State. (the concept that the world is run by a group of deeply embedded, non-elected officials who work towards the goals of the financially elite, and this group does not include Trump, who is about as black sheepy as one can be in these power circles)
Once you've done that, take the concept of the Deep State further. Recognize that it extends beyond any individual country.
Because that is where you're losing the plot. Under the premise that Deep State operatives are working towards the betterment of this country and improving the efficiency of this government, your position above is logically sound.
But when you take out the concept that these individuals are working for a specific country, and recognize that their goals do not involve a United States or a China or a Russia, then fuck yes it seems pretty damned clear that the goal is to delegitimize the President, no matter who the President turns out to be.
Given that it seemed "inevitable" that Hillary would win the Presidency, it makes the steps taken prior to the election that much more clear. They assumed she was going to win and were taking the initial steps towards her delegitmization at that point. But then Trump won, and they've had to pivot.
That probably sounds "absurd" to you, but it's pretty legit to a very large number of people, and the dots are easier to connect than most children's games of connect the dots.
The Deep State is 100% real. The question is how far it goes. Some don't think it is a coordinated thing, others do.
I personally think it is a very coordinated thing, and proof of that can be seen in the main stream media on a daily basis. The owners of every major media company in the world are not just involved in the Deep State, they are part of it, serving a specific purpose. The purpose to me seems to be to keep people like you saying things like you're saying above, playing off your paradigm that government officials work towards the goals of their specific government, not plot to usurp the government.
Proof of these attempts to usurp the gov't can be seen in the crazy amount of leaks that are occurring in Trump's administration. And the spin the media puts on the administration's reaction to these.
For example. When Obama took office, he also replaced a huge number of US Attorneys. When he did it, the media used the word "replaced". When Trump did it, they used the word "fired". Etc. Etc. Etc.
You don't have to agree, but at least now you can understand where more than a couple of us are coming from.

Just because this can't be fully and immediately explained or easily linked to an obvious end game doesn't mean it's not legit. Again, the Wikileaks track record is exemplary. They deal in bonafide leaks. The data is real. We just don't see the big picture yet or the motives for the CIA, which may well have complex inner workings, warring factions, etc.

The big picture is right there in front of all your faces. Multinational billionaire globalist profiteers are the power behind the Deep State. George Soros is their posterboy. He's also the most visible of the lot.
