Local restaurant is about to start hiring for the kitchen soon and a friend's brother works there so hoping I can use that in my favor. Sorry to hear about the cars. You gave it your best shot. Are you expecting an executive chef job, a sous chef, or just regular kitchen help, like a line cook? Good luck. If you do get employed, don't piss off the main chef telling him/her how to cook. Oh for fucks sake don't encourage him with his fucking lies. I do have a picture from his last job as a "line cook" But that nigga ain't getting another job not when Sporty is only working 50 hours a week that bitch can get a 3rd job and like it Jackie needs to stay home and work on his interwebz postings. Buh buh buh buh Jackels loving it

If you do get employed, don't piss off the main chef telling him/her how to cook. Line cook, it just a casual dining place, though decent menu. From what I understand though, they are short 2 full time chefs, and at least 1 part time. The guy who has been forced into running the kitchen (friend's brother) now is glad because he needs the money so he's pulling 60-70 hour weeks with everything over 40 overtime. They can't seem to get anyone to keep working for them for more than a week, so soon they just gonna give in and let him pick who to hire for the kitchen. When he gets a new job I can take over his running the kitchen eventually. Pay is shit, but it's something to do. I'm a bit worried though, haven't been in work environment where it is more than 1-on-1 with that much background noise since my hearing has degraded as much as it has and their POS is broken down half the time which means verbal verification of everything. Pay is shit? Compared to the gig you have now? Seriously?

Pay is shit? Compared to the gig you have now? Seriously? No, compared to people normally in that position out here. It is minimum wage (actually less than min. wage if they want to use the disability exemption), compared to about 10-11/hr average starting out here for the position. I've never turned down a job for paying too little. I've left for better paying work sure, but never turned away work for paying to little.

I'm going to make a prediction... It's not going to work out. I wouldn't be surprised given my luck. My hair has been thinning and I've been having memorization issues over the last 18 months. Instead of age or stress, knowing my luck it is fucking BSE.

2018 gonna be different! Since you've already got superbowl tix and all, I'm assuming you've landed some kind of sweet gig? Spill the beans!!! The tickets are no issue, a cousin of mine can get two from the Bills front office allotment, and he's not in shape to travel so I can have them. I know a few other people that can get them including one of my mothers, three different friends of my father, at least one other of my cousins. As for a sweet gig, the gif says it all... eh sorta. Right now I still have to rely on the little bits of work here and there. I'm working on raising the last 100k to open a small neighborhood restaurant/bar. Already raised 50k and have almost full staff ready to leave current jobs to work there. The most promising thing for me right now, at least officially as it is already done nothing left for me to do for it, is the possible lifting of the Cuban embargo as early as this May. I'll have sole distribution rights for two brands of Cuban cigars and one brand of Cuban Rum for the Midwest US (and I'm working on getting shared rights for the Northeast and Southeast regions). As long as the embargo is lifted in the next 5 years, I'll also have discounted distribution facilities with almost direct access to the highways. No idea how good or bad the revenue will be but it'll for sure be enough to pay the bills, especially early on before prices plummet when people realize there isn't anything that special about most Cuban cigars. The rum should remain a decent earner though I'm hoping.

Pretty sweet. Now, I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to superbowl tickets, but don't they cost quite a bit? I'm surprised that so many people have access?
Hope the rum and cigar distribution works out for you.
When it comes to the restaurant fund raiser, post a link. I'm sure some of the guys on here that are fans of your cooking skills will throw in. Ill toss a couple bucks myself.

Ill toss a couple bucks myself. Yeah they aren't cheap but roughly 50% of the tickets aren't ever even available to purchase in the first place, they are given away at the discretion of the various teams, players, etc... 25% of them by the NFL itself (mostly split among media, sponsors, and "friends), 5% to the hosting team (of which they only sell half I think the other half go to local sponsors/media/friends), and each other team gets something like 1.5% of the tickets and they only sell like half of those and rest pass out to sponsors and what not. Local papers, and long-time local sport reporters usually can get one or two. My grandfather was one of the original season ticket holders, one cousin covered the Bills for like 35 years, another worked for them but I don't know in what manner. My grandma and my one mother are both friends with the team's surgeon, and even though he doesn't play for the Bills, Gostkowski's Uncle lives in Buffalo and is one of my dad's best friends and used to get me tickets whenever the patriots (and for some reason the Jets) were in town. If I decide to do an open gofundme or whatever, yeah I'll post a link here.

I'm the only Angelo still alive in the family (there are other Angelo Pontillo but they aren't part of the family and none in pizza business). The location is listed as Donna's Caribbean Restaurant though, not Pontillos Pizza. If someone is trying to use my identify for that, I'd love to know because if they managed to make money off it, fuck yeah I'll take some of that. edit: Looks like someone had an "italian restaurant" there in the 90s.

Less about getting them a lot of business and more probably getting them business/liquor license if there was a reason they couldn't. Already called my cousin who would have handled the paperwork for the DBA in the early/mid 90s then, he's gonna dig around his paper work to see if he can find out whats what but he never would have given permission for use for someone pretending to be me, especially since he knows I was 10 or something at the time. My best guess right now, one of our cousins who had trouble in the past got permission to use the name, but used my name since it was clean at the time to get all his licenses from the government.

Angelo. I looked again. It was a license from the 90's as you stated.
Did one of your uncles tried to make a move to Florida in the late 90's?

Yeah I checked if my one Uncle who wound up embezzling from us and used his own's son name to secure a real estate loan was down there, but turns out in the 90s he was doing shit in NYC not Florida. I'm about 99% sure one of my cousins, not sure which one, got the DBA legit but then just used my name for the licenses. Any family (and a few friends of the family) who we let use the name, we don't really care how they get their business started so never would have been checked by us, and especially back then, was easy to use a front name for licenses, especially in Florida. Even though I was only 11 at the time his one license expired, when he applied for it I would have already had a tax history because of something my dad did when I was 3, so it would have looked legit and clean.
