Harry Dean Stanton.
Talk about a guy who was consistently awesome. First thing that comes to mind though is probably the first thing I seen him in, Bud in Repo Man.

Charles Bradley, I listen to his music almost every night, he had that old school emotion attached to ever note in your blues/jazz/r&b style that seems to be lacking in most of today.

Tom Petty after a heart attack Damn, this one stung. My dad introduced me to Petty when I was young. I've been listening to his albums all yesterday and today.

Tom Petty after a heart attack I don't think he's actually dead yet . . . but his health is free falling.

"Usually when when someone pulls shit like that, my first reaction is, I wanna punch his fuckin' lights out." I missed this post and any news of him passing. I liked that old man. He was awesome in Big Love playing that creepy old man. He was 91. Dude worked pretty much until the day he died. He had at least one project every single year since 1955. Pretty cool.

David Ogden Stiers @ 75. Anyone else prefer him in MASH over Frank Burn? He always seemed like a great guy, and he was the voice in a ton of Disney movies.
