What was your female friend wearing? Kidding. I do get it. A lot of Muslim men see women as second class citizens and pieces of meat. Moreso then most other cultures, admittedly. There is a definite problem with rape and immigrants. But let's not pretend that they are the only ones who harass women in public, and that your anecdotal example is the norm of all of Europe. I visit Europe every other year, and have lots of friends and family who visit various countries in war torn Europe without any hassles. My point was/is that the sentiment of some on this board is that Europe is this rape-Mecca, no-go, war torn, out of control continent. This isn't the reality that I or anyone else I know has experienced. I know YouTube might disagree with me, so maybe I should watch more and experience less. I am one of those youtube watchers. I am interested in learning the truth. Places like Sweden, France (Paris), some of London seem to be very bad. Italy doesn't seem that bad right now, but I did watch a few street interviews with normal people and they didn't have much nice things to say.
This isn't what you and your friends have been seeing? I'm not being a smart ass, I'm just interested in learning the truth. Cause as of now, we were thinking about going to Europe for vacation next year. Paris right now seems out of the question. Been hearing that most of it smells like piss, you always have to be on guard with pickpockets (Italy too for pickpockets).
A lot of the big cities in Europe have always had pickpocket problems, but Paris, Rome, and Amsterdam in particular are renowned for it. I have also heard tourists complain about the cleanliness of Paris and Rome. I obviously think you should go, especially if you haven't been before. It's hard to make a suggestion though, as Europe is huge and it would depend on what you are looking for (weather, history, sight-seeing/tourist, language/culture shock, cost/expenses).

I didn't get any pictures, but we just got back from a trip to North Carolina. I got to do some rafting on the Ocoee, one of the rivers that the kayakers used in the '96 Olympics in Atlanta. It was a good trip, full of level 3 and 4 falls and rapids. I had not rafted in probably 10 years. I'm going to be doing more, that's for sure.

I'll be traveling to Italy in a few months. I've been to europe many time, have never seen any "no go" zones and feel it's being way overblown.

Me and my dad went to Cominsky field in Chicago to see the White Sox play on a yearly basis. We were never blasted to death by the neighborhood crime lords. Does that mean the Chicago shooting and murder rate is overblown, or not real? Because I wasn't personally blasted?

For anyone who disputes that there is a Muslim based rape crisis going on in Europe, please show some conflicting evidence. Because I shared a personal story about how dangerous it is for women there, and then I was told, anecdotal stories don't count as proof. And then all you guys have to counter my arguments with is, anecdotal stories of your own... So, dispute me with some proof. I'll start. There is a Middle eastern migrant rape crisis in Europe. www.gatestoneinstitute.org/9934/germany-rape-january

A man is driving down the street in England and is attacked by an angry Muslim for no reason. I don't think that is an accurate description of the video. The guy driving obviously knows the muslim that confronts him, they have words and the muslim punches him. Your description makes it sound like it's a completely random act of violence, to me it seems that the two of them already have a history.

Who exactly says there isn't an immigrant rape problem in some countries in Europe? In fact, if you read my recent posts, I attribute it to be most likely due to the open door policy of immigration displayed by Germany and Sweden. I don't have the stats to prove it, but seems the most likely reason. Please go back and read my last few posts. Then beg for my forgiveness, damnit!

And that is a pretty cute kitty you got there. I can tell you this. I'll be spending a lot of time in Italy in the future and I will search these places out. If no go zones exist, Ill find them.

Has anyone been to Atlantis - the water park resort? I may have already asked on the other forum. Kids want to go but it's definitely expensive.

Beautiful resort. The kids will for sure have a blast. The day pass is currently 163 per person, per day. So if the hotel includes access to the water park, its a steal no matter the price for the room...within reason of course. They are running some specials now: www.atlantisbahamas.com/specials?gclid=CPmL5feQpdUCFQEFaQodJ1sMlw

The water park looks bad ass and that's the attraction, and yes it is part of the package if you book rooms there. We were thinking the Christmas break between christmas and new years but that's an expensive time. Seems summer has far better deals so maybe we will plan this next summer and hit Costa Rica this december.

You have to do the swimming with dolphins. Its right next to Atlantis and I highly recommend it. Really worth the money.

It was cool but I felt kind of bad for the dolphins. I'm sure the kids will dig it so we probably will.

Winter is typically their high season, add December/Christmas prices on top of that and its outrageous. I was just looking at a short cruise for December. 300 bucks at the beginning of December. Same cruise is almost 1,000 bucks the week of Xmas and new years! Total ripoff. You probably know this already, but Latinos love to visit their home country for Christmas. Getting a hotel in Costa Rica won't be that big a problem but getting an airline ticket will, so book early. I'm going to the Dominican Republic this Christmas, got my tickets last month and looking at them now they are almost sold out. People love to visit family those days.

Spent the last 6 days in a house on the beach in la Ribera bcs. Haven't seen a white person in nearly a week, caught dorado, yellowfin, rooster and pargo. Had locals come in and cook authentic Mexican meals, wives got beach front massages, and have spent more time in the pool/ocean than on land.
It is a great place to visit and the people have been phenomenal. Drove down a dirt road yesterday and paid some people $20 to pick mangoes, which ended up being the best fruit I have ever eaten. Currently laying in a hammock 100 from the ocean and dreading going back to work on Monday.

It's that time again. Off to the river. Couple buddies bought new rzr's so gonna go on a huge evening ride. Should be a lot of fun.
Got myself a nice trailer for my rhino. Bringing her back home after the weekend so I do full maintenance in my home garage. Been in debate over selling it and picking up a rzr, or just riding her til the wheels fall off.

Tough choice Vale. You Rhino is pretty sweet, you can get a bunch more years out of it. But those RZR's just look cool and mean.
It will be a vanity purchase, but if the money situation allows for one, go for it!
We are headed to Siesta Key this weekend. It's over by Sarasota on the west coast of Florida. It got voted best beach in the US this year. Never been, but from the pictures it looks beautiful; White sand and clear water.

I wonder if it will be extra crowded because of the show?

Going to the smoky mountains for veterans day weekend. The holiday falls on a Saturday so I get Friday off. Short Friday to Sunday trip. I was going to make the 12 hour drive. But found a Spirit flight to Atlanta for 48 bucks round trip! That will save me 8 hours of driving. Even with the airfare cost and renting a car in ATL, it won't be much more than the gas I would had spent. But it will save me 8 hours driving time each way. Pefect for a short weekend trip. Anyone been to the area? Any recomendations? Booked a suite in this hotel. Way up in the mountains. Deer Ridge resort.

My first ever trip to Vegas leaves on Wednesday morning, there for a week- My 40th birthday, Fetish and Fantasy Ball, and Hallowe'en (my favourite holiday of the year), been a kind of shitty year, I'm looking forward to a week long drunk and debauchery session! Another massage therapist is coming along, I've got Dr.Strange with Whips and Chains costume ready, time to find some adventure! Going big and expensive some days ($300 body painting alone), and gong ultra cheap others. Staying at the Flamingo, looking for cheap outdoor concerts and whatever else we can get into! so any info to help (best dealers to call, best strippers or call girls...... kidding, for those with less than perfect sarcasm detection!
