Easy fight for Poirier. Miller is past his prime and will probably get cut after he loses this one, unless they continue to use him to build up better, younger talent.

Agree - Poirier beats him down. Miller is a scrapper but I think he gets finished in the 2nd. He lacks the athleticism to keep up.

Miller is a warrior with a ton of heart but his best days are well behind him. Hate to see him take this whippin. I'm not sure if prime Miller could hang with Poirier's offense.

Miller is tough but his best days are behind him. I see Dustin lighting him up.

Miller really should have switched camps to try to revitalize his career

I'll admit this is a tough fight for Jim, but many didn't think he'd beat Diego and he did.
Jim has ways to win and I don't think he'll be an easy out for Poirier and think he can last to a decision, but this should be a pretty hard fight for him.

No, Jim lost to Diego and most likely he will lose to Dustin but in a much more brutal fashion. I'm a huge Jim fan but I try not to let it cloud my judgement.

Good to see Miller is on a 3 win streak. His record is full of win one, lose one. Win 2, lose 2.

Oh woops, actually he did lose to Diego, but now he's on a 3 fight win streak and just broke the record of most wins EVER in LW history.
Quite likely THE most competitive UFC division and he's got the most wins ever in it. I can be realistic about Jim's abilities but people have been saying "he's on a downward spiral" or shit like that for YEARS now but he's on a fucking 3 fight win streak. It's kind of annoying. If you put together a 3 fight win streak in one of the most competitive divisions in the UFC you aren't really on that much of a "downward spiral". I'm honestly not sure that he's not the best he ever has been right now. I'd take Jim right now vs a carbon copy of him from 4 or 5 years ago. He's more skilled now than he was then.

I think you pretty much nailed it. TH gets a little hypnotized by the sway of Miller's nuts.

You guys can keep saying that shit, but you are ignoring the fact that he just broke the record for most wins ever at LW.
He's not on a downward spiral if you compare him to how he was doing in the past, he's the best he's ever been.
Refusal to acknowledge that, is just refusal to acknowledge statistics.
Breaking that record is a really big deal.

Dude, he broke Tibau's record. Let's not act like Tibau is some world beater here. He never even cracked the top 5 as far as I can remember.

It's not as much about being one of the best fighters, but one of the most active, hard working and consistent to make that record and Tibau's been a hard working dog for years as well. Jim fought on both UFC 100 and 200 cards. It's impressive to make that record. To say otherwise I feel is just petty.

Breaking that record is a really big deal. For once I actually think you're talking good, logical sense! If any of these two are closer to being done I'd say it's Porier? He's taken some nasty KO's and Miller has a bit of steam behind him. PlusPorier has always been pretty shit and thinks he's way better than he actually is, so could see him thinking "I've got this" and getting done. I would say that beating the record doesn't mean that much in the grand scheme of things though. It's not like it's most victories in a row? If anything, all it shows is he's been around ages (and therefore taken plenty of damage)
