I still don't get why it was for a iterim belt anyways. Aldo is the champ, As far as I know he's not due to be out for a extended period of time.
Its just a #1 Contenders fight.. Right?

yes, it should have been, but with the card falling apart like it has, dana and co decided to try and add a bit of flair by calling it an interim title fight.

Turned out to be pretty good. Probably not PPV worthy, but still a good card.

Agreed - Incredible card. Should have been on Fox - would have sold these guys to a lot of casual fans.
lol @ Pettis going back to 155. There are no fights for him there unless he wants to be a gate keeper for the rest of his career fighting the best of TUF.
His best bet is to back his bags for Bellator where he's got a good chance of staying relevant.

Yeah...never thought I'd be saying this but I think it's time to hand Pettis his pink slip.

Yeah...never thought I'd be saying this but I think it's time to hand Pettis his pink slip. Two things that I thought: 1. No one was beating Benson in the UFC for a LONG TIME! 2. Pettis was untouchable. Boy was I proven wrong. Usually I don't jump off someone's bandwagons based off their losses or performances but I used to really be a huge fan of pettis and now I could really care less about him.
