Jfc, that sounds amazing.
I feel we need more detailed posts like that in this thread. I feel like I could make that dish now to a T and look like a fucking pro.

And top the stew with orange slices. Seems odd at first but it makes sense to the taste buds. Yeah. Think of them as pickles. Sour/citrus tastes cuts out the richness of any fatty food.

I think I'm gonna grab some hamhocks and do a version on Sunday or Tuesday when supposed to be stormy out. How much would using a can of black beans hurt over just soaking some dried ones?

I've never had a problem with canned beans. You will likely need more than a single can however, as the black beans are a main part of the dish.

So trying something new. doing a 24hr pickle on a chopped bell pepper, half-ring red onion, whole garlic cloves, and a dried chili pepper. Then tomorrow night gonna throw them in a pan with some ginger-garlic rubbed pork steak I cut up. When that cooked gonna throw in a cross between general tso and lo mein, and toss the whole thing with thick spaghetti.

okay, question time, any theories on how to go about this would be appreciated. I had the idea to do a pepper wrapped fish (whole, filet, not sure). The issue obviously is size of the pepper in order to wrap the whole fish, so I'm thinking I need an idea for a way to combine the peppers needed around the fish. Obviously can tie them, but any other ideas any of you can think of?

Let it cool. Wrap around the fish, bake. It will dissolve forming a nice crust. You're welcome.

However I'm looking for more of a way to have whole peppers covering it.

I'm not a lazy bitch. The point it to make it work around a a normal portion or full sized, so how to combine the pppers.

I like getting the salt-n-pepper chips and using on chicken breasts (sorry Vale). Takes care of seasoning and very nice texture.

But first you have to ask jess to buy all this stuff..... Yeah, and she gets it, I cook it, her, sometimes her sister, and others eat it. I don't eat much of it and let it be leftovers for extra meals for her to keep her eating and to save money. And I live off off primarily peanut butter sandwiches/tortillas and frozen burritos. I like cooking, I do it for people, I don't care if I benefit from it or not, and I almost never ask to buy something particular, I work something out from what she comes home with.

And this is seriously your life? When was the last time you felt like a man??? Real talk I barely feel like it is a life, real talk. I know I get shit on here, but I really do keep applications open with all the places I can get to. I did actually get fucked over on a few jobs over the years, one that would have made even the huge ego Tony jealous if I landed. I managed to get a loan so next week I'm making samples to send out around a few parts of the country to see if I can get a customer base for budget bath bombs. Even low end only a couple hundred a month but at least it a start.
