Damn! I'm sure Sicily is supposed to be an island. The mirror mirror and Queen song are really messing with my head too.

The Monopoly guy having a monocle and now he doesn't.
I even started to exploit my friends and betting them cause they think I'm crazy. My friend said he'd give me 500 dollars if I could go to the store and buy a Monopoly game and he doesn't have a monocle...
I'd really like some of your thoughts and what you remember from back in the day...
Another on is Oscar Meyer.... It's now Oscar Mayer? I remember the song saying M-E-Y-E-R....

Berenstein Bears for me. Here's the thing though. I remember the books being called "Berenstein", but the authors always being spelled "Berenstain." I'm not sure if that's how everyone else remembers it though. One of the articles made it sound like people also remember the authors's names being "Stein" too. But I distinctly always remember that "Stan and Jane Berenstain wrote the Berenstein Bears."

It is pretty neat but I think that it is like the show Brain Games, they show you ways to trick your brain. Liek wehn words aer spelled wrNog but you still can raed it with little prolbem.
You brain can't remember everything so it defaults to what makes sense. We always pronounce it BernSTEin in conversation so we think it is an E sound, nobody calls it BernsTAIN with an "a" sound. Same with Interview with a vampire. Most people would think you interview A vampire not THE vampire (as if he is the only one). Magic Mirror is tricky because there have been many incarnations of Snow White and the book does say Mirror Mirror but the original movie says magic mirror.
Frebreze is another one. They pronounce it like a cool breeze and we all spell breeze with 2 "e"s so it isn't hard to understand why people make that mistake. Much more believable than an alternate universe is something silly.

OK, I was waiting for someone to bring up the alternate universe... This one is kind of long but start at around 21:40 where the creator of the first quantum computer speaks... And if you care to keep listening, listen to the guy from CERN after him. Some very interesting stuff.

You're no fun, Floyd.
I did find that I remembered most of them correctly. Some I wasn't sure about. chick-fil-a? I never really think about the place, so who knows? But Frebreze and Interview with The vampire I both knew were correct. I think the forrest gump one, at least for me, was just not hearing Hanks correctly with the southern accent.
Mr. Rogers is a little more troubling though. Hearing it now with This neighborhood really doesn't sound correct. CERN needs to get on this.
