I didn't have a exciting job like Bear did or probably the others.
I was a 75C. Personnel Management Specialist. I worked in the Levy section. Meaning I sat behind a desk and sent 1st Cav and 2nd AD soldiers overseas.
Ft. Knox KY.. Basic Ft. Benjamin Harrison IN.. AIT Ft. Hood TX.. Station

I asked this question in the old forum but posted it in the wrong thread and got no responses.
If you were in the military but was never sent to a conflict and never were stationed anywhere outside the US, are you still considered a veteran?
If yes, do other military members think less of you. Like you are not a real veteran?

Yes, you still served. We don't know who will go overseas or not. Even the job I had, some were stationed overseas.

That's what I thought. They still had the balls to enlist and willing to serve.

I don't know if its still a saying in the Army or not. But when I was in, everyone's 1st MOS (job title) was 11B. Infantry.

Premier, just remember-Veteran's Day is for anyone that served in the military. Memorial Day is for those who died while serving.
And the Fourth of July is a good excuse to get drunk and blow shit up.
