No, I didn't know anyone sold any car. I don't pay enough attention.
But like I said gents, you can see what weve got here. I'm not judging, it is what it is.

Ok then, Just thought I would offer. I think the job is easy, but some employees don't feel the same LOL If things change in the next few weeks. Let me know. You find work for a one arm sober junkie, get me a solid beater, I could pay off outta my weekly check. I get myself to Dallas or wherever. I know some folks in Dal/ft.w area. Only thing I ask, if I relapse once, send me packing.

I would take Daywork's offer in a heartbeat if I had a car, and I will take him on it if it still on the table when I finally get a car again. As he said, I have to be able to travel. edit: I can even save Daywork hotel money if any job is in Houston area. My college roommate lives there and I can crash for a few days if needed whenever a job brings me there. No you can't. No you won't. No it won't. Also- no, no, no. You aren't doing anything but posting lies on the internet bud. What's up with sporty? You just dumping that bitch for the first job that comes your way after she's supported you all this time and made you all those sammiches? Pretty ungrateful.

My college roommate lives there and I can crash for a few days if needed whenever a job brings me there. I don't have a program in Houston anymore. That program really sucked so I got out of it years ago. I do have a office in Beaumont TX, that's about 1.5 hours away from Houston. That program doesn't pay as much as Arkansas so I can't offer as much.
I'm looking to get this new crew started for the 1st of the year in Arkansas. I need 2 more people, each crew works as a 3 person crew. 1 crew lead and 2 installers. I already have the crew lead I just need the installers. I'm trying to hire early so I can train them on how to do the work.
There is a chance I will need to set up another crew, working on residential homes in the same area. But I won't find that out until sometime in November.
I think you are in the KC area. So that would be a 8 hour drive each way. I'm not sure if that is something you would really want to do or not. That is a lot of driving.
One other thing to think about. Traveling is hard on a relationship, While if you did want to try this out. Sporty would be welcome to come out and stay in the hotel room with you when she has time off. But other then that, you would be gone 5 days aweek (including travel).
But like I said, if you are interested send me a pm and we'll talk on the phone about it.

My rent was 390, plus cable, net, gas, electric, and water/sewage, food, alcohol and drugs and snuff. Last year I received 87 from the state for my gas bill, and I received 16 a month in food stamps. In order to survive prior to my arm deal, I took care of lawns, weeding, mowing pulling weeds, and occasionally guiding steelhead fishermen. Afterwards I went to other types of hustle. If I actually work even 10 hours a week on the books, the VA takes dollar for dollar. I'm to get ahead. I hate not working, not believing me tells me you know nothing of me. If I can get a job making even $50 more per month,I'll take it..../shrug....

I'm tattooed to the fucking hands (wrist line). You'll never see it when I'm in an office. Ive worked in an office for a couple years with the same people, went to an after party and they were shocked. Part of my neck too. But I feel there is a time and place. Office is not that time nor place.
Kinda like the titty in the toy aisle.

Fun fact: filipinos are the only asians that could also put pacific islander instead of asian in their ethnicity in official us documents. What about Vietnamese or people from Guam? Vietnamese are asians. The chamorro are pacific islanders.

I've decided that if I can't get this car by the end of the month I'm gonna go by the SS office first week of November and file for disability SSI. Only 400 something a month but 3-4 months of saving it I can get a car and my neighbor will help me for free getting it working for travel if it isn't in shape. I fucking hate the idea of collecting disability, but I've missed to many opportunities because I don't have a vehicle. I also hate the idea that once I make my disability official, I don't even have a right to minimum wage anymore.

You haven't denied it. And your response? ep, Rather than get a job, I'm gonna file for more disability. Then save it. Or ep, work harder, I need you to pay for the guy's wages that will review my claim so he can send it to the guy whose salary you chip $ in for to process my new free $400 a month for that you, ep, also pay money toward because I'm deaf through really, no fault of yours EP. But, thankfully I'm deaf in a civilized country that takes care of it's citizens so they can post on the goddamn internet or do heroin or just chill why you put in 40 hours a week. But, I'm deaf. So, I'm pretty much unable to like, do anything that makes $400 bucks a month. Where the fuck do you think that $400 is from? All the people here telling you if you can't Wikipedia useless shit and make up lies, you can probably join is in supporting people that actually need the money we pay in. You lazy asshole.

So, I'm pretty much unable to like, do anything that makes $400 bucks a month. More disability? I collect none now. And I'm not getting hired for being disabled, most places don't know I'm HoH when I apply. I'm not getting hired because this area is really fucked up for jobs, considered one of the worst in the country now. Jess is an ABD PhD and only has the job she has because she had previous employment with the company, otherwise they wouldn't have hired her. I am able to do the work (most of it anyways), I just can't get hired to do it. Friend of ours here, he has a BS in Business I think he finishing an MBA now. He specifically took the job when he did before he started college because if he started college first, he wouldn't have been hired. And I know you can't comprehend this, but you want to know how fucked up my disability is? If you look at what I posted in the 470k thread about how my hearing works... I need to learn ASL fluently, and soon. Where I live, you know what my options are? Be fully deaf to qualify for classes. Be enrolled full-time to be able to take the ASL classes as they restricted to full time students. Because I have a semblance of hearing, I don't qualify for normal lessons even though I'm gonna need to rely on it soon. By then I won't even be able to do the jobs I can do now. Now I know you are gonna say learn online, however as anyone learning/teaching a language to be conversational in, you can't do that. Just try to imagine yourself right now in my shoes. I have a few years to learn an entire language, don't have the money to do it, and if I don't I won't be able to communicate. Even if I do, my communication is limited to people who know it. Now, that feeling of dread I feel? That stress? That anxiety, that fear? You feel it? And you think I don't want to be working to prevent that best I can? But what I plan on doing if I decide to collect the disability to get a car, and I think Beefchief knows this of me, Greybeard maybe too, I'll donate every cent I collected in disability back. Maybe charity, back in extra taxes to the general fund, that I don't know, but one of the two.

CB-- It's not 100% true my friend. And here is why. That dollar amount puts you service connected at about 60%. Which, sadly is below the 70% needed for IU, that fat 3k a month tax free check you can pull for not doing anything but drugs. Most likely, comp and pen came back with a reveal, bumped you back down, and now you are in your current situation. Some self medication, a few stints in the VA mental health ward, some classic retelling of the "I wasn't shot at, but, I felt I was in danger" Persian gulf stories. Maybe you knew a guy from a different platoon that got KiA, threw that one down with the "why was it him, not me" line etc. But any way you shake it- you don't have to pay back anything to the VA at 60%. Over half the GS are dudes rated that high. IU is the only time they look at possibly taking back $ and even then you have to hold the job for 6 mos plus. You know that's true. Drugs, bro. You decided to chase the quick high, party the free money away, and spiraled. Thanks for serving a 3 year stint. The Gov is paying you a million dollar settlement between the compensation and the free health care. No society, no other place on planet earth do you get that. You weren't even drafted. You volunteered to do unholy shit when called upon in exchange for wages. And, not only did you get that, but now, you at least have a safety net. Half my buds have prosthetics and haven't slept in years. Years. One of my closet is retiring as a SFC this year. One leg, all heart. And, he is running a business. Danced at his daughters graduation. Literally. Broke out a sick dance routine on with a prosthetic. Smiled. Why? No drugs. No self medication. No excuses. Molon Labe? When? After you are passed out and OD'd? Best of luck to you, and I wish you no ill will, but I've walked that same walk for over a decade in the modern conflict. And my closest friends have too. I sit and judge from a place of choosing to go the other way and honor those who lived, not play up my vet card. You aren't that different than jackel. You had options, you chose alcohol and drugs. You truly have no idea l you are talking about my friend. I cannot get any service connected disability, oh I could lie like a bunch of fucks here do. My disability stems from disc degeneration in my neck. I could apply for service connected for PTSD, I wont though, due to the fact its not really an issue anymore. So say what you want about your knowledge concerning why I get what I get. Simple fact is I could be raping the system, but that ain't me. The true OG's round here know ive been nothing but honest here. Sweet dreams princess.

Bear, My friend. That's vet welfare. You are getting paid for a disability that isn't necessarily the Army's fault, or proved as service connected. What a sweet deal. Join the military. Get a trade. Get $ for life, even if it's not an injury on the military's time?
Non service connected disability is: Pension is for low income veterans who are disabled because of conditions that came about after their military service."
Here is the rub: "Veterans must also have very little income, as the income cap for eligibility is not very high."
So, you are right. You can't make more than the G or they take the free check away. But dude. Why? Why fall for the trap and stay poor enough to sit around getting high and drunk?
Same argument. You couldn't have done anything with that energy?
And why is your leisure on my dime?

Alright mmaweekly refugees.
I'm not made for a kinder gentler OD. I shall take my leave of these esteemed forums, and leave you to it.
Best of luck, Angelo and CB. Enjoy the new millennial OD.

No, a guy clearly posted - "hey, I'm in a bad place" and I chose to have some class and not try to push the guy over the edge. I dont mind a spirited debate- but I'm not trying to cyberbully someone who is hurting. Big difference.
