The commission wants to make an example out of this and is looking to make the penalty similar to the Comier/Jones penalty - 10% of purse and community service. The meeting is still in discussion...

They're now recommending a fine with a portion of the fine going to an Anti-Bullying Campaign.

The UFC should pay that fine behind the scenes. There is no question that whole episode helped sell PPV's

Now the main commissioner says a $300,000 fine for throwing a water bottle is ridiculous and that the whole thing seemed like a publicity stunt to drive up PPv buys.

Looks they've decided on a $150K, 50 hours of community service, and has to create an ani-bullying PSA which he he is responsible for financing.
