I'm finding that the older I get, and the more years I watch MMA, it takes something strange to get me interested and thinking about the sport. I used to analyze every last detail before every fight and then again afterwards, but now, similar to diets and masturbating, I go through phases where I do or don't care. I'm strangely interested in this one. Neither one is a top ranked guy, but I'm starting to think that people are sleeping in Mickey Gall due to the fact that he only has a few pro fights and his only UFC opponent was CM Punk. I've watched some open workout footage on him and his ground game looks pretty tight. Especially for MMA. I wouldn't be surprised if he further derails the Sage hype train via sub.

I assume this will be at 170? Maybe Sage feels better at that weight. Interesting fight and I doubt it gets past the 2nd round, so count me in. The winner will get promoted further and that's a good thing.

Well, do you know who he trains with? Frank Trigg?? He's not that fortunate... I've read that Trigg only teaches one person... Roger Gracie.

Gall by sub. Good on the UFC for trying to build a little rivalry here.

Sage's ground game has not impressed me at all. I think Gall gets him down and hurts him. Gall/sub/1

Gall has some serious skills on the mat. He took Gordan Ryan to a decision and Ryan has been tooling everyone of late. I believe Sage is a purple belt. I find it hard for Sage to keep this fight standing the entire time.

Should he turn out to be contender in the next few years, he'd have a hell of a backstory that the UFC can sell the shit out of.

Sage is getting his ass whipped, plain and simple.
The UFC must not like Sage anymore.

I hope sage kicks the head off of gall. He's such a tool What makes you think Gall's a tool? I know through my instructor that he's a pretty nice guy. He's trying to get some attention for calling out people like Punk and Sage, but that's just smart for him right now. I think he'll kill Sage, and that's not just bias talking. I just don't think Sage is that good after tapping to that "non-choke" thing he tapped to.
