If a clown mouthed out bang to me in front of my house...I'd go get my monkey mask and my bat that is always sitting on the inside of my side gate to my yard. That suv is going to take a couple swings by an unknown perp in a monkey mask.

If I assaulted the guy's car he might shoot me, or get me arrested for property damage as attacking his vehicle could not really be construed as "self defense". Pointing a loaded shotgun or handgun at a disguised person who has made a threatening gesture is 100% legal self defense. Especially if you don't have to shoot them.

I did not know the last part, very interesting. I wonder if that is true in CA though. But when the monkey mask comes on...it may as well be a ninja mask. Bat to the back tail light, back to the rear 1/4 panel and I'm gone like twinkletoes. If cops knock on my door, I'm amazed at all the masked criminal activity going on lately.

The laws are different everywhere. Up here, you won't get in trouble for holding a gun to a clown and telling them to beat feet the fuck out of there. But if you started destroying his clown-car (lol), he could return with police and you'd be the one in trouble. Property damage isn't really seen as a viable form of self defense. Maybe it is in California, but in Maine, as funny as it sounds- you'd get in more trouble for damaging the car than you would for training a gun on a person who's wearing a disguise.

Because we live in pussfornia I don't know if I can get away with that. Maybe someone like oc would know the answer. But my monkey mask and bat...it's not like I'm planning on getting caught.

Read a deal last night where a researcher found ZERO incidents of people dressed as clowns actually committing a violent crime. Not sure how far back the net was cast, but the point was that this self-induced national psy-ops is essentially masturbatory hysteria to medicate boredom. Read that again. Yeah, I said it. Jesus. And now we're about 2-3 weeks away from some macho numb-skull beating some twerp tween Halloween huckleberry into a (more) vegetative state because social media viral paranoia has become the 2016 version of a cattle stampede.

Snopes is having a field day with the fake news stories. And I would believe that there have been zero violent incidents with them so far. But this kind of behavior is begging for something to happen to you. I never realized how many people have a very strong, irrational fear of clowns until this started. But now it seems like putting a clown suit on and walking around in the dark is akin to putting on a sign that says "I hate niggers" and walking through Harlem. Just a really bad idea. I wouldn't think twice about someone beating the snot out of any of these morons, aside from on Halloween, as that is the only day in the year where dressing like this could be seen as "socially acceptable". If I see an evil clown on Halloween, it won't seem as strange or out of sorts as it does on any other day. Will say that if either of my kids asks to be a clown for Halloween, the answer is no. I went as a clown for my first Halloween. A dog ran up to me and I yelled Boo at it, and it ran away. I turned to my parents and said, "I scared the shit out of that dog." I was 3. Started at a new day care the following week, for some reason....

As far as I know, I don't think Gacy ever killed anyone WHILE dressed as a clown. Didn't he just hire boys to do work in his house?

This isn't 100% substantiated but I do believe it is accurate. The current clown outburst started in and around Green Bay, WI. However in that case, there was a group actually filming a C-level movie. The movie makers did end up coming forward however the footage lived on. According to sources live on the ground (my brother in Green Bay), he said that most of the news stories that show video are actually showing video from the 'movie' that was being filmed in Green Bay. He also said there was a clown 'threat' to schools in the area today and that some people were keeping there kids home from school today. He resisted his urge to buy into the hysteria and did send the kids to school today. He does typically like to dabble in mass hysteria. wbay.com/2016/08/09/filmmaker-explains-gags-the-green-bay-clown/

No I don't think Gacy ever killed anyone WHILE dressed as a clown, but he's a fucking killer clown nevertheless.
One sick fuck and his last words before being put to death in the electric chair were "kiss my ass" lol.
I'm fascinated by serial killers and he was one of the sickest.
Hired boys to work at his house, especially gays, and picked up a lot of boys and did fucked up shit to them.
I wonder what motivation exactly he had to dress up like a clown??
I bet psychiatrists have some interesting theories.
Some kids are gonna dress up like clowns and get killed.
I don't know how differently I'd react if someone dressed like a clown came at me than any other normal person lol.
I'm not scared of clowns, but I feel like there'd certainly be an extra "what the fuck" factor if a clown came at me as opposed to a normal person.
I might laugh first and that might be my downfall hahaha.
Certainly fucking strange.
Reminds me of the evil clown in Stephen King's "IT".
Will there be killer mimes next???
I don't think anyone is as scared of mimes as they are of clowns.
