Is there a tournament held for a new champ?

No, they just have the winner of Weidman - Romero and Rockhold - Jacare fight for the vacant belt.

I'd like to see Bisping retain the title, have Jacare beat Rockhold and then beat Bisping to win the belt. Weidman beats Romero and then beats Jacare to get the belt back. Rockhold beats Romero for a shot and we get the Weidman/Rockhold rematch.
that's what I would like, but olig is probably right. Easiest answer. Top 4 mini tourney, which is basically already happening anyway, barring injury.

Or they might fuck things over even more with an immediate Bisping/Hendo rematch........complete the trilogy.

I think Bisping takes this via decision. I'd LOVE to see a repeat of UFC 100 and have that entire crowd go quiet.

if you are considering the history of the belt, Frank still holds it.

If Dan connects, it's all over for Bisping. But I see Bisping staying on his bike, pumping the jab, following through with short shots and getting out of the way. I don't see Dan catching him again because I'd bet Bisping has been working on nothing but staying out of that pocket and getting out of that pocket without getting caught again.
I really believe Bisping is on a roll mentally. Silva and Rockhold back to back wins...dude is on top of his game right now.

They give it back to Weidman I'd imagine after he crushes Romero with the greatest of ease.

They may burn the arena down if that happens. UK mma fans are fairly educated these days on the history of the sport and just who Hendo is. So if he wins there will defo be respect there from the fans (you'll get some mindless idiots booing, but then again that's just like the US), especially if he ices him in brutal fashion. As soon as they start showing replays of it it'll get the fans on board as we are a blood thirsty lot over here, so an epic knockout would placate the disappointment of Bisping losing. Personally I can't see past a Hendo KO? The stars have aligned so much here that it's his final fight, against a guy he's not a fan of that he knows he can knock out and it's in his opponent's backyard. He also knows that Bisping is unlikely to be able to hurt him, so I can just see it not looking too far off of UFC 100. Other than Mike being a little calmer and Hendo a bit slower? But 25mins is a long old time to be sticking and moving against someone who is throwing fucking missles at your face non stop?

Plus Bisping said hes feeling a ton of pressure. I think hes going to be super stiff and going to get knocked out in under a minute.

I just feel Bisping has confidence like never before...or maybe like before the first Hendo fight...never thought about that last part. I'd love to see a Hendo victory. One of my all times faves. I do feel Hendo is going to come out swinging as he knows this could be his last fight and Dan doesn't seem to be the type to want to go out without a bang. Are you going to this?

No sadly I'm not going. Was offered tickets but I have a family event to attend.
With regard to confidence I do think Bisping will think he's got the ability to knock Hendo out, but trying will put him in harms way for longer.
Mike needs to stick to just hammering no more than 2 straight shots at Hendo then stepping off on an angle. Then if/when the inevitable H bomb counter comes back at him, he's cut his angle, so Hendo should miss and he can then quickly fire off a counter.
So beat him to the punch, make him miss the counter, then try and punish that miss when he feels it's safe to do. And that should be ALL he does.
But I can just see Hendo marching straight at him and making it a gun fight from the first seconds of the fight? And if that's the case, I don't like Bisping's style. That low power, high volume, plenty of movement style is difficult to come out fast with; you sort of build the tempo up to a crescendo.
So I can see him never quite getting his hit and move style up and running and out into a lead, thus feeling like he's playing "catch up" and start taking more chances.

I hope Bisping wins, and then beats all comers and retires a dominant champ, because it will hurt every douche nozzle's feelings

Dan has been finished now plus he is old as fuck. Bisping isn't a power puncher but showed if the stars align that he can put a tough guy to sleep. Henderson's gameplan better not be take a bunch to give one or it will be a long night. I hope he does catch him though.

I wouldn't mind to watch the rematch but this card is garbage as a whole. I'll set this one out and wait for 205. The undercard on 205 will be stronger than 204's main.
