Do any of you use it? How long have you used it? Did you at one point and quit?
I had one from 2007-2016. It was already bad, because all the olds had found it and all my aunts and cousins were always posting comments and shit fucking up my game. But the election did me in. Too many dummies I went to school with who couldn't even spell 'politics' the last time I saw them were suddenly very political. (And coincidentally shared every opinion Fox News and Trump had at the time, so you know it annoyed me even more.)

Had to create one for my business, so in order for me to fire my ex girlfriend from being in charge, she ran our Facebook, I had to have an account. Never had it to make friends or post shit. I did add a small group of close friends(4 total) who cried and begged me to add them, the creepy stat I use often, which is true is that 50% of my friends died... Motorcycle accident and brain aneurysm...

I didn't even think about business pages. I guess that's a fair use for it in my mind.
I miss being able to browse the marketplace. I forgot to add that.

I’m not an attention whoring girl or someone too awkward to just stay in touch with people the old fashion way by seeing or calling them... so no.

Had one since maybe '04-05 range. In any case, I have not logged in for at least 6 months and have probably logged in a total of 5 times in last 2-3 years. Usually feel obligated to log in and say things for birthday messages. I actually don't know my current password, never log in or have their app on my phone, though I believe my work computer still has the log in saved.
All that to say, that there are really some people that I wouldn't be able to contact if I deleted my Facebook entirely. Secondly, feel like it'd be a little obnoxious to even bother deleting it at this point. 70% chance that I do delete it entirely the next time I log in. Downside would be going through and sending a message to the 5-10 people that I don't have up to date contact info for.

See, I feel like Facebook 2019 is right up your alley. I almost expected you and Garth to be on here talking about how great of a platform it is. But, since you think that attention whoring girls are on Facebook, I'll believe you.

I've had one for years, I have 1-4 accounts, including meatcow....for you guys who remember meatcow.....lol, due to the ever more popular FB 30 day ban I switch accounts when one gets banned, and I will always have an account. I stay in communication with family and friends daily, including my 77 y/o Mother, I'm not much different there than I am here, I do tone it down a bit due to FB rules and of course mama bear, but I'm me wherever the fuck I go, I dont put up false fronts, everything you guys know about me all my FB "friends" know about me too. I'm friends with several of the original OD guys from back in da day on FB. I love it. Because, and I freely admit it, I AM AN ATTENTION HOE-BAG.....lol.

I believe there is nothing good that can come from strangers seeing or knowing things about you. Facebook or the picture sharing platforms in my opinion are only successful because it allows people to be fake and put information out there that is a lie or greatly exaggerated. I have no interest in trying to show people what I own or what I do, so that boils down to staying in touch with people which I just do by calling, emailing or seeing them.

Never been into social media so haven’t signed up for any of the sites. I can see the purpose of it in regards to staying in touch with people. I’ve done fine without it so can’t be bothered now.
It does seem to be more for, as Cavebear stated, attention whores.
Not that there is anything wrong with whores.

It is definitely a platform for attention hoes like me, its also a great way to stay in tough with people. My high school graduating class was about 90 people about 65 of us are all FB friends and we are scattered all over the country now. So it allows us to stay in relatively close contact with each other on a regular basis. I have literally seen my distant buddies become Grandfathers,Fathers, Mothers, seen their kids graduate high school and college all thru FB. Its definitely not for everyone and I get that, but its an evil I'm willing to tolerate. PS: Anyone interested on my theory behind the internet and the anti-Christ?? Cause its a doosie, but if you have read the Bible, specifically the new testament...its kinda, well....kinda on point../shrug. ok, you twisted my arm a little. I'll just say this....if the proverbial plug gets pulled on all the computers tomorrow.....what happens?? Seriously...I think this world would descend into a massive chaotic nightmare within 24 hours if the system went black....think about it.... ? Our old OD barge would be able to survive but would the majority of the world? ?

Only social media I ever joined was Twitter, so I could follow Joe Rogan back when I still regularly listened to his podcast. Other than that, I'm too old school, I still like message boards so Reddit is where you'll usually find me. And make no mistake-Reddit is every bit as bad as Facebook. I'm not sitting on some high horse here.

There is a paving subreddit, which I still find hilarious. Great people and I'm glad I found it, but the concept is hilarious.

I actually deleted my Twitter account maybe 1 to 1.5 years back. Once you get over the initial shock, it's great. I didn't socialize on it but I relied on it to follow certain news sources, especially sports news. Inevitably, other shit would leak into my feed, even if I was pretty limited with who I followed.
The thing I noticed were 'trending' events. Especially around Antifa events or other protests. It was just about scope. 1,124 tweets (many by the same people) about a protest in St. Paul, MN and all of a sudden that was 'trending' it's way into my timeline or feed (excuse any incorrect lingo). In reality, there are several million people in the metro area that were not tweeting, reacting to, or giving two shits about the 84 person protest.
Anyway, working my way into a sidebar rant. I used to like to catch 'news' broadcasts or helicopter views about raging protest turmoil when they would accidentally zoom out. Then you'd realize, oh, this whole breaking news event actually covers about 1/4 of one side of one intersection in a city.
In short, boo social media.
