I was watching some random game of thrones videos at work tonight and i was thinking what my favorite episode was. I used to think it was the blackwater episode in season 2...untill i saw the battle of the bastards. I have it down to that episode or the True Detectives season one episode where they kill Reggie Ledoux. So what do you think is the o e episode of any show that you thought, "thats the best tv ive ever seen."

Blue's Clue's season 3 episode 7 was pure fucking art. Still can't believe they were able to put all the clues together using deductive reasoning to find out the mystery.
Truly inspiring both creatively as well as personally. If it wasn't for that episode from a television show about a cartoon dog in a live action setting with his sexually ambiguous owner I don't think I could have kicked my crippling crack cocaine addiction.

I dont know..season 3 as a whole just felt like steve was mailing it in to me. Everytime they went to draw a clue in notebook i just felt like it took me out of the overall story. Now season 4? Different story altogether

Was that when it was still hosted by the heroine addict? Or had the pedophile taken over at that point.?

Off the top of my head, episodes that stand out to me:
-The episode of lost when they first discovered the hatch. That show got awful later on, so much so that I quit watching it. But man, the suspense around that hatch was epic. -Season 1 finale of Heroes. Everything came together here, which was a great payoff for the season. Again, another show that shit the bed so bad later on that I quit watching. -The series finale of The Sarah Conner Chronicles. The show as a whole just never got going, but the series final was so good that I actually wanted the show to continue. -"Face Off" from Breaking Bad. Who didn't love the entire Gus Fring saga? -"Deliver us from Evil" from Quantum Leap. This show is a guilty pleasure of mine, and this was probably the best episode.

Did you guys ever see that Episode of Cops that aired on March 3 1991?
The cops chased this car around the streets of LA for hours, and when they finally got him to stop, they pulled him out of the car and then they gave the drugged out loser a proper beating.
That was my fave episode.

Every episode of the first 48 is good. Starts out happy, and end happy, but my personal favorite was faggots having a lovers spat telling on each other for killing some other fag the year before

Live PD is good too, but it's more of a backround show to have on the TV while you're busy doing things around the house.

The best part of the episode was watching the fag think he was respectable and thinking he could lie his way out of it. They killed the other fag for his meth. Tulsa is a good setting for the show. The meth problem produces white murderers to keep the show interesting. All the ghetto murders are the same

The meth problem produces white murderers to keep the show interesting. All the ghetto murders are the same Meth is the common denominator on the First 48. Most of the murders are drug deals gone wrong, or robberies...which are usually drug related as well. And then the rest of the murders usually consist of Walter getting shanked by Tyrone's homies after Walter was getting the better of Tyrone in a fist fight. The Tulsa guys are a good crew. But then I think there's a homicide squad they follow in Florida that's pretty good, too. Edit: Even the white murders are usually meth related. Like the last episode I saw, this little wigger kid blasted some other cracked out wigger after he showed up at the wigger kid's house to get his bike back that the wigger kid's dad's girlfriend stole from the dead wigger while she was out prostituting. The dead wigger's crackhead girlfriend saw the shooting from down the street and she eye-witnessed the wigger kid as the shooter. And then there's this other episode that always stood out to me for some reason. This one dude who looked just like Alec Baldwin was on a meth binge with his little brother, and they were all out of meth. So they finally scored a late nite hook up, but the meth turned out to be bunk. So they arranged a second meet with the chick who sold them the bunk meth, but she sent some big dude to the second meet up. And the Alec Baldwin looking dude ends up going into a meth rage and stabbing the big dude in the neck. The episode starts out with someone calling in a dead body sitting in the driver's seat of a parked car.

Knight Rider the "Goliath" episodes. Solid Choice! I can't believe I overlooked these. I own all 4 seasons from back when people still bought DVDs.

I'm not sure what show this is from, but its the single most dramatic piece of television I've ever seen.
I fell asleep on the couch one nite, as I always do, and I woke up at like 1 in the morning and saw this,
An old giraffe fighting a young giraffe to the death for ownership of the local watering hole.
Fucking epic, I tell you.
