What are you doing?
I returned to work today after 10 days off. I'll be asleep by 11, working tomorrow early. TCM is playing the entire "That's Entertainment" Trilogy tonight so I'll watch that and pump a little iron.
Highly recommend, especially the first one, which I tried to purchase on Itunes but its unavailable. TCM, right now. DVR it

I'm not doing anything but chilling at home on the couch. I'll probably play guitar after the ladies are asleep.
How can you rail against the brainwashing from the media and yet still support it with your money buy purchasing cable and obviously digesting cable TV? How can you jive that with your rhetoric?

Fair point, but it would only save me 17$ to have internet only instead of internet + cable. I don't pay for HBO or Netflix, and it is because of the despicable trash they put out. Also, I watch more B/W movies and TV shows than color, unless you count Dateline murder mysteries and CSPAN

It's 11:12 am already. Just woke up. I cooked the whole afternoon. Gonna roll off the bed and eat cake and ice cream for breakfast.

I'm staying at my wife's sister's house. It's basically her mom, 3 other sisters and 1 girl cousin. They can't cook.

I'm not mad at it, draw your mojo from where you need to to not be a limp dicked little bitch in life. But it's a weird soapbox to stand on considering the truth about the time period.

I'm not mad at it, draw your mojo from where you need to to not be a limp dicked little bitch in life. But it's a weird soapbox to stand on considering the truth about the time period. Not only are you a dullard, but you're disposed towards incredible, stupid flights of fancy. 1950s movies were despicable, subversive, trash the same as today. Its interesting to watch the evolution of subversion throughout the years, but it has always been there. Eisenhower was as big a skunk as Obama, if not worse. The media was MORE dominated by communists than today (thanks entirely to the internet), and the people as spellbound and brainwashed (yes, I do think the people were intrinsically superior, but they had no access to information like today). One thing they did better back then was song and dance movies, but they didn't do them as well as they did in the 40s and 30's (also despicable and subversive, by the way). It's just that they were color. The chicks were waaaay hotter back then because they weren't swarthy and ripped. They don't do song and dance movies today. They've replaced song and dance with fight sequences. If this were 1949, Jason Statham would be spinning, leaping, and twirling in a leotard in whimsical and silly musicals instead of CGI action scenes. Today men are too pussified. They need Jason statham to be kicking ass because they arent comfortable admitting to themselves that they just like to watch his form. It would be difficult to choose a "Hay day" for America. Nothing in the last 100 years has been "pure", save for the Space race. Everything other accomplishment is tainted beyond palatability. World War two is a popular choice for "hay day," but if you ever bother to learn about it, America was and no better or different than Nazi Germany. I love the GIs, and honor their effort, but they were no better, forthright, or honorable than the Japanese, Italians, or Germans. They were victims. They prevailed not because they were superior to the enemy, but because they had overwhelming advantages. In truth the Japanese and Germans both demonstrated themselves as superior to the Americans, because both campaigns should have been easier than Gulf War one in 1991. America could decipher Japanese military codes in real time, and was thus invincible. In Europe, the US alone had more than 5 times as many tanks, 20 times the air power, and 1000 times the gasoline as the German Army, had utterly penetrated Hitlers inner circle with moles, and still found a way to lose battles left and right to Germans pulling horse carts and get 200,000+ fine young men killed. The best American genes were erased, and today we have you as a result

Did Garth just admit he was gay? I think he did. Good for you buddy, you tune into Expendables and watch Jason Statham's "form" all you want.

I went to bed at 10 and slept in until 7:30. Latest I've slept in except when I had the flu.

I went to an edm music fest called Sno Globe.
The event was highlighted by thick beats, snow and rich kids on lsd.

I do watch Tommy Rall in a leotard doing ballet moves in 1953’s Kiss Me Kate. In fact, I find myself rewinding to watch him so delightfully and deftly, step, pivot, and twirl, over and over again. Things were a little different then. They weren’t fags. If they were I would still love watching their routines, but I wouldn’t envy them the same

It was 14 degrees outside with snow flurries and a windchill. But when you stand close enough to the pyro and stare directly into the strobe lights, everything seems ok.
