Didn't call you a liberal. I didn't claim "victory"?? How does one become victorious in a thread? YOU brought up "liberal" claiming it was said by verbal and kyle when it never was - they mentioned the government in reasonable posts specifically about fires impacting them and prevention. Nothing they said was an attack on liberal politicians but you read anyone mentioning the governments fuck up, which this is, as a political diatribe. Cavebear is slightly more unhinged than you but he actually doesn't take any of this as serious. But hey, nice spin attempt to make this into a liberal vs conservative thing when it never was. Nice BS to claim some kind of victory occurred. I don't care about your politics and the only real thing I have ever seen you repeatedly argue for is gay rights. I don't know what that makes you and don't care - if you want to suck a cock I think you should be able to. If you argued that Trump lowering taxes is unfair, or that corporations are evil, or that the police are out to get you, I would then call you a liberal (like I do andrew soros). What is okay to post about in a thread titled "Cali Wild Fires". Just the fake "hey hope you are okay" bullshit? Which, by the way, did you even do that? Or did you just enter the thread to whine? Um, Verbal's 2nd or 3rd post on here was railing against how California government will increase taxes to support the 55% unemployment and Tony mentioned liberal paradises being burnt to the ground. Nobody has to literally say liberal policies suck ass for someone to infer that is your conclusion when reading posts on here. As to what I expected from this thread, just what Kyle said. Yeah, we are good. Thanks for asking. I dont care if you want to mention what would fix the problem but you are the only one that can't see this turned into a political shit fit, as does everything in the OG. that's all. Ahem, you mean the 55 percent of the state that currently despends on welfare... And just to clarify, its not us who make every topic political, it's the MSM and the government who inject politics into every aspect of everyday life. Take football for example. We can't even watch football now without being forced to watch "politics" as well. So then how can someone be expected to discuss football, without also discussing politics??? Thanks to the MSM and the government, football and politics are now synonymous. And just because we pointed out the cause of the brush fires, and the cause just so happened to be intentional governmental neglect, well that doesnt mean that WE made the discussion a political one. The fires took place due to a political blunder, so you'll find once again that the fires and "politics" are synonymous. Again, not our fault that the topics always devolve into politics when its politics that has a bad habit of forcing it's way into every day life... ...take socialized, universal medicine for example. That's the ultimate form of the government forcing itself and politics into everyday life. And they're using movies and television to help push their socialized medicine agenda. When I turn on my TV to a sitcom, and they're railing about free healthcare, then its not me who made the discussion about the TV show, "political" ... ...It was (((them))) who did it.

Excuse me for saying unemployment instead of welfare, that crumbles the whole argument. Dont be a victim and pretend you can't control the fact that you have to incessantly bring politics into every discussion. You have self determination and can avoid delving into the topic if you wanted.

Really difficult if one of the causes of the fires was government neglect.
Maybe we need a new thread "The Cali Fires - only talk about the effects (but not the cost because that might involve tax dollars, or construction because huge amounts will involve public buildings and structures)"

Have at it. Everybody's good. Let's get into it. California is a shit hole with shitty politics and I 100% believe they neglected it in lieu of blasting policies to let trannies shit beside your daughters. It's the epitome of liberal philosophy. Look at feel good, ideological drivel instead of focusing on the real world with real time consequences.

Here's a few shots I took of the trail by my house where the fire started. The first shot is the start of the trail from the valley, just a few hundred yards from where the fire started. You can take this trail all the way from the San Fernando Valley to the Malibu coastline, its about a 15 mile hike.

Can't even watch a basketball program without hearing that ugly old turd Popovich bumping his gums about "white privilege" and how society needs to start cracking down on white people.
What the hell is he even on about anyway ? White people are at the 50 yard line?
This is America, the land of opportunity, everyone has the opportunity to make themselves successful. If your parents gave you a good life because they were successful and worked hard, and because they waited to have kids until AFTER they finished school and until After they had gotten married...well that has nothing to do with white privilege, and it's definitely nothing to feel guilty about as popovich says, because that's just plain old fashioned hard work and responsibility paying off. That's the American way.
Everyone has that chance in the US, not just whites.
Blacks in the US have the highest income and standard of living than in any other country in the world, yet dumbfuck popovich thinks the US is oppressive. Communists never check their stats..

This is why more and more middle and slightly left leaning voters are voting right. Even if they don't agree with most of the right-sided candidates, it's still a better option than the extreme left. Nobody wants to be chastised by a millionaire basketball coach.

Greg Poppovich is entitled to his own opinion, but I suspect that when you are in a sport that is 98% black, that you will fake/real believe something like this because you have to or want to further your career.
My argument to Poppovich is that he is not being accurate when he says that White people are born on the 50 meter mark of a 100 meter race.
1) Blacks have a lower level of achievement expectations than any other race. If you are black and graduate high school, have a job, are not a criminal and raise your child you are a huge success. That is the bare bones expectations for white people.
2) Black people have been given more assistance per capita than any other race.
3) Black people are treated exponentially better in the US than any other country in the world
4) Black people rob, harm, rape, shoot, kill and drag down their own people way more than white people ever have.
My assessment of White privilege is that because the black culture is so dysfunctional and self destructive they push their own people back behind the starting line before the race has started. They pressure their own people to live a life of failure so they can keep the perception of racism alive for their own financial benefit. If a growing percentage of blacks are successful, the argument that the need more handouts and lower standards will evaporate.

Blacks also were not given a fair shot in life until recently. I don't feel it's fair to say otherwise. Only in the past 60 years have they even had the right to own a home in the area that I live in. I can see that clearly written on the original deed of my home. 60 years is not really that long ago. If any of us were refused a home with money that we earned...just think about that one for a bit.
So when it comes to the lower level of achievement expectations, I'd suspect having the deck stacked against them possibly could have something to do with it. I'm not making excuses for anyone and I know this post is going to fly on this forum like a wet fart in church, but it's true.
You know some shit is wrong when the guy running for mayor re-elect in a mostly black owned community like Inglewood, put into their campaign radio ads, after tooting his horn for helping bring in the business to the city that spiked the housing there over 300%, says "don't sell your home, finally build generational wealth". I feel when you feel the need to have to tell adults older than myself this...it says quite a bit.

Speaking of it by generation. I'm a man, I'm 40. My dad is 72. What did his father (my grampa) teach him? (kind of moot bc dairy farming has nothing to do with this)
However, if you imagine yourself as black, and 40, with a 72 year father. I know there are a lot of individual factors, but we're only to the grandfather level and we're to people that were born in the early 1900's and probably have a pretty different perspective on the civil rights of anyone. It's not exactly abstract thought to imagine a grandfather of a 40 year old black person talking to them about fearing the police, the KKK, and not having any rights. At that point we're only another grandfather or less away from the civil war and slavery.
My point is, that while 'we' look down the line as 40 year olds, it is pretty easy to suggest that the time for everyone to move on is now. Things aren't the way they were but influence, traditional, deep rooted stances persist through generations.
In a totally tangential example, my brother still changes the oil in his vehicles every 3,000 miles. That is completely unnecessary with most of today's engines and oils. However, my grandpa did, my dad always did, and my brother still does. He even realizes that it's really not necessary but he sticks to it. Counterpoint to my point, my dad has moved on and gotten with the times with synthetics and engine recommendations.
I'm having deja vu, like I wrote this before. You can't just demonstrate that everything is better and expect the fog to be lifted. There are plenty of reasons that different cultural elements regress or refuse to progress.

The most accepting country in the world with the most opportunities for the _________ is the United States For the black person For the gay/tranny/heshe For the jew/muslim/catholic For the huge fat ass For the lazy trailor trash For the smart "insert adjective" person For the "insert minority group" student For the dumb "insert adjective" person
So when you see morons like andrew bemoaning how "bad" it is for the X,Y, Z group, or how unfair it is in the United States, it rings hollow. There is a reason people WANT to live in this land of opportunity and freedom but it's lost on too many of the people actually here. I am very thankful to live here and raise kids here - it's so much better, IMO, than any other country. What is problematic today is the Soros money, higher education, social media and mainstream media collusion to create fighting and chaos, and dupe people into believing this is the land of bigotry and hatred.

Such flip floppers. More like bold faced liars. First they say too many dead trees is the reason for the wildfires. Then a year later they blast Trump for saying the SAME EXACT THING. Tell me again, who owns the media?
