No one cared about 224 even though it turned out to be a good event... As I predict about the Chile card. The UFC is obviously focused on 225. It was also a big weekend for boxing on ESPN with Lomachenko peaking at 1.75 million and Bellator also being on.
It's low, no doubt about it, however these numbers also do not reflect total buys like they used to, as they don't disclose the buys made via streaming. I wonder how many buys are accounted for via streaming medias. Must also be a big blow to the cable/satellite providers as they get what, 40/45% of each PPV? I would imagine the UFC would really be pushing for thier fans to purchase.
The UFC sky isn't falling and Bellator isn't taking over anything. I expect Combates America to be more of a threat than Bellator, (insert lol emoji).
Anyone want to take a quess at the numbers for 225?

Bellator is going to buy the UFC within a couple of years.
The new UFC owners are all about that money. They start loosing a lot of money and they will get out of it quickly.
Bellator will find a couple of heavy investors (Charmed by how good they are doing) and they can buy the UFC.
The only thing is that Bellator will cease to exist. UFC is the more known, marketable brand. Maybe they keep Bellator around as a feeder league.

Unless UFC gets some big names back in the cage ASAP, they’ll continue to lose money.

Viacom is one of the biggest and most powerful corporations on the planet with enough revenue to buy 6 UFCs.

Viacom schmiacom, Bellator sucks Nice retort but he has somewhat a good point. They do have money but then again, why didn't they make a serious bid? IMO it was a hefty price for WME to purchase and they have to atleast try and stay in the game for 5-10 years. I see Viacom selling Bellator before WME sells the UFC because you to have a point, Bellator does suck.
