“I feel UFC and Khabib got unfinished business before I try to make a step in here to go for the 155 title.”

Khabib should go up to 170

Al got up from Kahbibs control a few times, as well as gave his back up nearly everytime it hit the floor. After getting into quite a few submission attempts, he escaped them all. Good luck with GSP, Khabib... LOL

If the fight was at 170, I don't think Khabib would have much chance.
If it was at 155 like Khabib wants, it would be tough to call. Hard to see GSP cutting that much weight at his age.

I think some you guys got sucked in by Rogans commentary regarding khabib. He was mauling Al and then chose to use the last few rounds as essentially stand up sparring. I think he was taking chances trying to make it an exciting fight/a learning experience.

I'd love to see GSP maul khabib but I don't see him making 155 and still having the stamina and energy required. At170, absolutely.

No chance in fucking hell GSP makes 155. He was already very lean at 170.

Gsp wants an opponent that can't stop the takedown and people actually know.

Four different times?

The weight at 170 won't be relevant and Khabib can fight him there. Would be great to see someone Khabib's equal try and negate his outstanding grappling but his equal is prime GSP. Could GSP still be a grappling machine? I have doubts as the last time we saw him get in the ring with Johnny Hendrix GSP did NOT have his usual grappling supremacy. Khabib right now is a BEAST and it's hard to see him losing but GSP is kind of a perfect opponent to design to defeat Khabib.
GSP has an outstanding jab is a far better striker than who Khabib has fought. I don't think you can compare someone like Barboza because Barboza had to be terrified of the takedown. GSP could potentially use his speed, timing, footwork, reach and stellar jab to beat Khabib. Mix in a few takedowns and he wins a decision. I'm not saying I would bet on GSP, but I am saying GSPs the kind of guy I would think has a better chance against Khabib than most. I don't think Khabib could finish GSP and I do think GSP could stop the takedown. Standing? GSPs jab is 10x better than Khabib's striking.

I have no idea why people watching that fight would comment with "this shows Ferguson could beat him", etc. Al Iaquinta is a legit top 10 155er and Khabib beat him as easily as we will ever see a champion beat a challenger. That was domination.
