Thug Rose, and when she knocks out Joanna AGAIN it will be glorious.
I really can't stand Joanna.
She makes Ronda seem tolerable IMO lol.
She's already claimed it was a fluke and puts on such a tough girl act she really had it coming for her.
I mean if she wins it's really gonna suck having to hear her say things like "see, last time was a fluke".
Of course, that would probably set up a rubber match that would no doubt go down, but I just want to see Thug win again.

I've got Thug Rose again. I think the loss has haunted JJ and she will have trouble keeping her emotions in check.
Should be a great fight though.

Got to go with Rose. She won without much issues last time.
Oh and Joanna is much better then Ronda, both in and out of the cage.

Joanna by Dec. I think she takes a different approach this time around.

Joanna by Dec. I think she takes a different approach this time around. I think you might be right. Even though toehold has bought into her act of being a mean crazy girl, unlike Ronda, it's just an act. Joanna is a much smarter fighter than Ronda and I think she'll make some significant changes in her game for this rematch. This could be similar to Conor/Nate II

There's not enough humble pie that would make Joanna stfu. Hoping for a Rose stoppage but I see Gollum being conservative and go for a UD.

I think this is Joanna all the way. I like Rose, I think Rose is very good and may likely have a long career as a very dangerous vs anyone type of fighter. However, I think JJ was definitely off point last fight. Not just the 'tough weight cut' or whatever, she was off point all the way around. It think it was clear that someone (or even herself) became really convinced that she needed to build her brand. That's fine, but she didn't find the right balance. I remember before the fight thinking she was vulnerable and even texted friends right up until the bell. JJ was mean-mugging the camera and it just all seemed overly rehearsed. I'd be willing to bet she never thought for a second that Rose could stand with her.
As long as she doesn't shatter her leg on a kick-check by Rose, I think JJ will be fine. Yes, that was a Weidman v Silva reference.
I do think Rose is tough, has a lot of options, and I like her zen-mode. I just think JJ will be better-enough on the feet to keep things where she wants them.

Other than toehold, i think everyone has some great input on this fight. Im leaning towards Joanna.

I do reserve the right to reverse course if JJ shows up this week with brand new catch phrases, glam poses, or self-gloss nicknames.

Joanna preaching about "PATIENCE" at today's presser. She's going for the 5 round dec.

I thought JJ looked a little razzled at the presser when the normally pro JJ NY crowd wasn't on her side. Not a good look for her imo. Hope it doesn't get into her head.

Pulling for Joanna all the way.
You guys should check out her instagram. The tough girl shit is just an act. She's actually pretty humble and down to earth on IG. She got that European dorkyness.

Kind of what I was leaning towards. That being said, I was watching their open workout and was surprised at how much faster Rose looked than JJ ....just an open workout though

Rose kinda lost steam in the 3rd and 4th rds but she pulled through in the 5th. Rose 1, 2, and 5. 49-46 was BS!

In the bar I gave Rose the third still, while Joanna improved, I felt that Rose still slipped most of the strikes coming her way and delivered better. I’d be happy with 49-46 or 48-47 Rose.

One can make an argument that Rose has Joanna's "number" . Rose figured her out.
Still on paper, based on record, number of fights, and quality of opponents, Joanna is still the better fighter. But Rose will beat her 9 times out of 10.
If you subscribe to that argument, Rose won't hold the belt for long. She will probably get beat by any of the top rank female fighters not named Joanna. Let's not forget she got choked out by Esparza....who Joanna made look like an amateur.

I agree with you mostly about matchups and I do think JJ’s resume is more impressive but I think Rose has improved a ton she would prob work Carla over now. Carla loses heart quickly.

JJ has definitely had the better career so far, but Rose has proved twice now that she is the better fighter.

She's made a lot of improvements and while I don't know that she'll beat every girl at 115lbs, I don't think she loses to all of them. I'm so glad she won again. I can't stand Joanna and like the fact that she has to accept that someone is better than her.

I have a feeling that Rose will be out of there once she fights someone else.
