Man, this card is awesome so far, with all these snooze-fests and all. MMA in general is hit and miss and that goes for all orgs. You never know what fights will be great or suck.

If you couldn't see on paper this card was weak, I feel sorry for you. UFC has the biggest roster in all of MMA. There's really no reason every PPV can't be full of big names, instead of people who aren't coming to win and people we've never heard of.

UFC has the biggest roster in all of MMA. There's really no reason every PPV can't be full of big names, instead of people who aren't coming to win and people we've never heard of. I'm watching this for Cyborg/Holm and Khabib/Barboza, both of which should be exciting. I also heard the prelims were good too. When you have cards almost every week there's no way every one of them is going to be good no matter how much you stack them, and even if you do stack them a fight that looks good on paper could suck and a fight that could look bad on paper could be great.

I wish this was Ferguson instead of Barboza but this should still be really good.
This is pretty much classic striker vs grappler.
I don't see how Barboza wins on the ground but if somehow he keeps it standing I don't see Khabib winning, but really I don't see how Barboza will stop Khabib's takedowns.

I don't even need to wait to see the ending of this fight cause there's no question in my mind that Khabib is the best LW on planet earth.
I don't think Connor would do well against him AT ALL.
Honestly, I think the best challenge for him would be Ferugson or maybe it might actually be interesting to see him against Edgar because Edgar is the only other wrestler who has that kind of pace.

I vaguely remember thinking he'd lost also. I don't know if I have fight pass anymore, think mine it expired but I'd like to see that fight again.

Has Khahbib ever fought a good wrestler? Healy, Trujillo, and Shalorous are all good wrestlers and I'd guess a lot of the Russians he's beaten were good wrestlers too. Of course guys like RDA aren't actually wrestlers but still have good takedowns. I think Edgar would give him a hard fight.

I think Khabib is lucky that the top LWs are all strikers for the most part

I don't know about that.. Khabib gets hit. Conor hits hard. I'd say Conor in 1 or 2, but after that possibly Khabib.

That was a pure ass beating.
I'm still not sold on Khabib taking on really good strikers like Tony or Conor.
If it goes to the ground, I have no doubt that Khabib gets it done, but you have to get there first.

I think he has a small chance to catch him coming in but it's extremely small. And unlike Barboza, Conor will tire quick. Khabib destroys Tony cause Tony doesn't even have power to catch him coming in.

I can more easily see him taking Connor down and pounding him like that, but we'll have to see. I don't think Connor will fight anyone for a while so it has to be him and Ferguson now.
